   The service was great, the food was terrible. Probably the worst calamari I have ever had, did the chef dump a bottle of salt on it? I had the scallops, there were three for $42...they are $30 per pound in the store, I expected about 4-5. And the cannoli is supposed to be crunchy unless is is smothered in some sort of cream sauce. I try not to go to chains, but this was a client meeting and I will think twice about going from a chain again.

    We went there and celebrated my birthday. At reception, and in honor of my birthday, they gave my wife and I two free glasses of champagne. I thought this was a nice touch. Then were able to get a really nice table in one of the side rooms overlooking the river. There were only a few other couples in the room, so it was very quiet and pleasant. Our waitress was also very pleasant, helpful and efficient. Finally, the food was very good and they didn't try and rush us through and push us out when we were done eating. Overall it was a very nice experience.

    Service was sluggish (even though not crowded); food quality (steak and sides) was moderate to low; filet was cooked well but sides substandard. I will not be going back to this restaurant given the price and the large number of alternatives.

    My boyfriend and I went to Bond 45 for our one year anniversary. We wanted something special and fancy. I would highly recommend this place. We were greeted with champagne, we sat at a table with a view and watched the sunset, and we got a free dessert for it being our anniversary. The food was amazing and the service was excellent. Everyone at Bond 45 made our anniversary very special. If you are looking for a fancy restaurant to go to, this is the place to go.

    Took someone over 20 minutes to come acknowledge our table. Waiters walked by countless times until I stopped someone and asked if we could be assisted. Once they did, we were rushed since it was busy, and the waited was irritated with any questions. Food was “ok”. Nothing to be excited about. I haven’t been in years, and I was reminded why. Service wasn’t good, we were rushed due to the Valentine’s Day rush, and the food was “warm” as if it had been waiting. If you can go somewhere else, please do. Don’t waste your time.

    TERRIBLE, went in for a dinner date with my partner and was really looking forward to trying this place since the rating was relatively high. Immediately after arriving the disappointment began. First, we had to wait quite some time before we were even acknowledged and they where in no way busy. After finally managing to get an employees attention we were promptly lead past the main dinning room where there where more than enough empty seats an ushered to a outdoor, poorly lit and cold add-on portion of the building. Where I’m guessing was reserved for all the black and dark complexioned patrons. Now I’m not just saying this to be crude or divisive, but there where literally 3 other couples out there and they where all people of color. Also please do keep it mind that there were plenty of other empty seats inside and this was in the beginning of February in Dc where the weather was about 30 degrees. What’s more, we never requested to be seated in this sections and when we asked to be moved since it was cold we where told “ if you are cold, we can turn on the heating unit.”…………………………moving on. After continuing to request we be seated inside. After being told to follow are server we where brought to the middle section of the establishment but I’m guessing that was to close to our white counterparts since what I can only assume was a manager came out and told our waitress to take us back to the area which we had just left. We where brought back sat just in front of the open door that lead back outside to the very place we requested to be moved from. Defeating the purpose of requesting to be moved since it was still cold and drafty being that close outside. Not want to continue to repeat myself, I gave up and prepared to place my order. The rest of our visit was just as lackluster. Food was overpriced and vastly under seasoned. Utensils, plates and decor were old, chipped and outdated. Over all, the experience was terrible and I won’t be returning anytime in the future

    Pear salad with salmon a little disappointing. Salmon overdone and pears were hard. Dessert menu was lacking and they ran out of ice cream flavors. They sent us to Ben and Jerry's. We had dinner early and were in the back with a nice view of the harbor. It was not loud there, but the rest of the restaurant filled up and it was crowded.

    My wife and I had a tradition of sorts, going to Bond 45 on Christmas Eve, seated on the back enclosed patio. Then we moved out of the area. We returned with friends, requested the same seating and got it. Perfect. Our waitress was great, the patio was cozy and the food was excellent as always. We will try to come back in the area next Christmas.

    I made a reservation here for my boyfriends 30th birthday. Not only did they accommodate us 30mins ahead of our reservation but the manager went above and beyond to make our evening all the more special!

    We had a reservation but were seated in what was basically a server station. It was very hot because it was right next to the kitchen so constant traffic and it was loud as well. I assume these tables are only used when absolutely necessary but it’s a huge pet peeve of mine to get a terrible table like this when you’ve given the courtesy of a reservation. Train your hostess staff better or management should pay more attention.

    Was advised the steak was top notch. I left feeling unsatisfied. Service was great, but the food seemed over priced for the quality. My mother enjoyed her lamb chops and my husband enjoyed his salmon but felt like it needed a sauce.
