Waiter was rude. Kept telling us that he was @just joking” but totally angry and put out. Five another profession. You’ve obviously burned out from this one.

Bond 45 is an excellent pre-theater choice with its location in the heart of the theater district location. The wait staff understands diners are not there for a lingering meal. The vegetable appetizers are a good starter - sharable and a lot of choice. Go for the eggplant parm. Pastas are acceptable. Wine list is definitely workable. Bond 45 is consistent and reliable. Reservations needed.

We had reservations for after a show and was seated on entry in a nice quiet corner in a romantic table for two (since it was a date night for us!) the service was fast and friendly and helpful in navigating our order so we could get precisely what we wanted. First glass of champagne was flat but it was quickly replaced with a fresh one. Food was excellent - Chicken Milanese and Fettuccine with beef ragu! Topped it off with a nice Cab and Cappuccino. Ambience was delightful, softly lit, with sunset artwork all around us. Prices typical for NYC but totally reasonable for the value. Definitely a keeper and will return!

A wonderful meal, although we were relegated to the basement being told we'd have a "quieter" time. They weren't that busy so I advise future diners SAY NO to the basement! The upstairs was a far nicer NYC ambience.

My friends and I have been to Bon 45 on many trips to New York and always had great meals and enjoyed the experience. This was so disappointing! One of us ordered swordfish which came as dry and hard as a hockey puck. It was absolutely inedible, so we returned it and was given Red Snapper in exchange. This was apparently good, not great, but compared to the swordfish, at least she could eat it. It arrived, however, long after the rest of us were finished our meals. There were no polities, no concessions, nothing, and when the bill came, they had charged us extra for the snapper. We will have to find another dinner pot when we visit NY in the future for theater.

the only bathroom on the main dining level was out of order (supposedly that day) leaving the only option downstairs. After I went down and up the stairs (I have a mild temporary disability) I was told there was an elevator!! The entree i ordered was supposedly a “mistake” on the menu…it said Sole and Shrimp…but we were told shrimp was not included…but I was welcome to purchase a side of shrimp. Your mistake should be your fix!!

Great menu! Bond 45 is the first restaurant I have found that offers “ Carcciofi á la Giudea” since I first had them in Rome years ago! I had them for my appetizer, and they were very flavorful and satisfying. ( Took me right back to Rome…!) The vegetable antipasto choices were many; and the cauliflower was exceptional! Spaghetti Carbonara was made with guanciale, in the original, true, Roman way, and it was so very delicious! My friend had the Dover sole , and she loved it. And….what can I say about a big slice of NY cheesecake with fresh strawberries and chocolate sauce that hasn’t already been said??? A party in the mouth! We happily shared one piece. A great choice for dinner, and close to so many theaters!!

Had a reservation and were seated on time. Appetizers of garlic bread, prosciutto and burrata were delicious. Take had vegetable plate, salmon and pepperoni pizza and everyone loved them all. Dessert was the chocolate cake - also a huge hit! Arrived at 5:30 for dinner before our 8pm show and glad we did. We were at the restaurant for two hours. Waiter was helpful when ordering but then disappeared. He was hard to find for drink refills. Overall, very pleased and would recommend to anyone looking for a nice meal!

Disappointed in the lemon chicken, it is a bone in chicken which was not how the waiter described it. The waiter also seemed very annoyed we did not order cocktails and we saw him pointing at our table several times talking to another employee, it made us all uncomfortable we decided to skip dessert even though we were there celebrating a birthday.

We received our appetizers, main dish in less 15 minutes and all at the same time. Food was not really good and bot hot, like it’s been sitting there for a while. Pasta were cold and stiff, slamon over cooked when asked for medium, peas were frozon and not cooked enough and the lemon chicken was tasting a bit odd… service was not good, we received the bread (appetizer) after we finished eating. Ambiance was nice since there was a live show. Overall, not worh the money we paid at all.

Once one of my favorite restaurants in New York, certainly my favorite restaurant chain. I always love Trattoria Del Arte and I like bond I feel that the Dover sole I was last night was not Dover sole, but was. Gray soul or a different form of soul. They no longer serve bread. They use the pandemic excuse which other restaurants are using, just to save money. Trattoria Del Arte is still a fun dining experience. I found this to be boring.

Always consistently great at Bond 45! Chicken pepperoni parmigiana is a shareable entree so don’t go crazy with ordering 😉. The vegetables are delish and the espresso martinis are a great way to finish the meal. Service is always on point since this is a very busy establishment. Will be back when in town.

Anywhere but here! Because we were going to theatre after our lunch, I ordered something fairly light, a bowl of soup. A $17 bowl of soup. I asked the waiter if I might have a roll or piece of bread to go with my soup. His reply was that they only have “loaves” of bread and I could order that for what I remember being $10 . I asked to see a manager because, for sure, this had to be a mistake. Unfortunately, the manager’s answer was more outrageous when he said the owner has gotten “cheap” ( his word not mine) and no longer offers complimentary bread for the table. I told him it wasn’t complimentary since I ordered a $17 SMALL bowl of soup. I truly believe that some restaurants have gone above and beyond the “covid” up charges. They made me feel like I was Oliver Twist begging for a morsel of bread. By the way, in case you were interested, the soup was oily and tasteless. I am a native New Yorker so I understand what we all have lived through in the past 3 years. Especially small business owners. Mr. Bond 45, you have brought it to a new level.

Our go to for pre theater! Did not disappoint. The MaitreD’ was very accommodating and moved us when extremely loud party sat at the bar . We moved downstairs which is much calmer and quieter. Our waiter just lovely and thoughtful. Did not hurry us at all. The food was yummy including a farro and salmon salad. Also great pancakes and scrambled eggs. We luxuriated with divine espresso martinis and chocolate blackout cake. A fabulous meal!
