   Very nice restaurant with outstanding service and the food was absolutely phenomenal be prepared because it can be quite spicy but I will bring that I loved it and I just made a reservation to go back

   I took my mom here since we couldnt be together on Mothers day. First off the host Pam is the hostess with the mostest and is phenomenal at seating parties fast and efficiently. Our server lord forgive me I forgot her name but she was fast and even though she had a bunch of tables she still made sure we were ok and enjoyed what we had. The food was not only beautifully presented, it tasted amazing. My mom got seafood mac and this is the only place we’ve been to where there is actually seafood in the mac and not just a half of shrimp and some imitation crab. The salmon sliders and jerknoxtail was *chefs kiss*. Not to mention the amazing Issa who was doing everyones job and hers. She also came over through the busy chaos and talked to us about the restaurant and the food. She even put my best friend drink in for her after she made the double king margarita suggestion (strong and good as hell btw). She told us they have all week brunch and best believe we will be back for that. The music was amazing my mom and I was singing the whole time. They also have a lounge next door that just has the most amazing lounge. 10/10 would recommend and we will be coming again.

    Loved it. I had the shrimp and grits and my partner had the smoked salmon omelet. Topped it off with the limoncello cake. Food was excellent! Our server was so polite and friendly. Couldn’t ask for more. The restaurant itself is beautiful. Lots of character with exposed brick and hardwood flooring. Will definitely eat here again so I can try dinner. It’s a local gem!

    We found a gem in Philly! We we're visiting Philly for the weekend, and a friend suggested we try Bookers. The ambiance was ecletic. The staff was friendly and the food was amazing. We were able to meet the owner, Cheri. She was personable and very stylish. She gave us excellent recommendations for our entrees. We will have no problem recommending this restaurant to others, and we will definitely come back on our next visit to Philly!

    I truly enjoyed my experience at bookers. My reservation somehow was not in their system, the hostess immediately accommodated me and I only had about a short 5 min wait. My server Amanda was amazing and attentive. She was the sweetest person ever! The rest of the staff also has great personalities, not to mention the food was outstanding!     My friends and I enjoyed ourselves tremendously at Booker’s on Monday afternoon. The wait staff was pleasant, food selections were varied, and the atmosphere was pleasant. Our food came at a reasonable time and it was delicious! The room filled up quickly, but the noise level was not a distraction. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will return soon!!

    Asked to have points added at the start of my visit. No problem! Upon checking out, I asked again and no luck. I was asked to write my info down and they would add later because 1. No one knew what to do and 2. they were too busy - but I just spent $50 on 3 drinks! WOW

    I absolutely love this place. The new owners are present, and assisting the staff. All the food is amazing. From the brunch menu check out the, peach cobbler french toast. Make sure to get a side of fried fish.

    My first time dining there this weekend was great. Everyone was very polite I felt like family. From the host lady at the door and even the waiter Charles. The food was good. My favorite was the Thai wings! I think that was the owner that also came over and checked on us. I love supporting black owned businesses. Especially the ones that make me feel like family. May God continue to bless this establishment and enlarge their territory.

    The main hostess who had multiple jobs new everyone and treated me very kindly. I don’t think she was a hostess however. My bartender made me a special drink. He was very nice!! The food was so delicious. I’m looking forward to coming back.

    This was our first visit to Booker’s Restaurant and we will come back again. The food was very good. I was very surprised how crowded it was for a Monday evening which I imagine says something good about the restaurant. Because it was crowded we did wait a long time to get our food and we were almost done with our meal before we received our ordered drinks. Overall we enjoyed our meal and plan to return.

    I heard a lot about this establishment and asked my daughter to bring me there for Pre Mother's Day dinner. We had reservations for 5 PM and arrived about 4:50 PM just to be told they overbooked. After waiting for 15 mins we asked to eat outside. We waited for a server to come to our table which took another 15 minutes. After placing our order our food didn't come until about 30 minutes later. I was only satisfied with the deviled eggs and cornbread. My fries was 1 minute from being burnt. Worse Mother's Day dinner EVER.
