With turkey dinner, yummy dessert, and delectable wine pairings, Boom + Batten is perfect place to celebrate the most delicious night of the year. Please note that all reservations will be subject to a credit card hold to secure their reservation. All cancellations within 24 hours of the booking will be subject to a fee of $25 per guest. We have been to Boom and Batten many times, it used to be a favourite of ours. The last three visits he have had the food has been subpar, and the service mediocre. Drinks are always delicious, but at 21$ a pop I should hope so. My meal had been left under the heat lamp for some time before it was delivered to the table, not the first time I have experienced reheated food from Boom and Batten. I think we will be taking a break from what was our favourite restaurant.

We sat on the patio and our dog sat just outside the fence- perfect. The food is always excellent and our server funny, attentive and great.

The food and ambience is amazing, and the location could be great, however there were large yachts docked all around the restaurant, so their so called view of the inner harbour was non-existent. It was a main factor in our choice of coming here, but other than that it was amazing!

Visited Boom + Batten recently for a special dinner with my partner while we were in Victoria. We were seated in the sunset room which was a lovely ambiance. I thought I would have preferred the room closer to the water but a large yacht was parked there and blocked the entire ocean view. So, I am thankful they sat us where they did. The cocktails were great (Cold Brew Old Fashion & Earl Grey Martini) but kind of overpriced in my opinion ($18 and $17). Or maybe that’s just cocktails these days. Ordered the prawn pizette (sp?) and kale Caesar for shared appies and then the seafood pasta and risotto for mains. All really tasty. The part we were mostly put off by was the service. Felt a little ignored, not very friendly or welcoming. Didn’t check on us much. Overall, food was good but I would likely choose another restaurant over this one when we return to Victoria based on price point and our experience with the service.

This is one of our favorite and reliable restaurants, so when we had friends visiting from Australia, it was a no brainer to show them the fabulous Boom and Batton and they never disappoint Our server was Johanna and she looked after us extremely well.

Once again, the Boom and Batten did not disappoint. They greeted us warmly, seated us at a great table, provided lots of help with the menu (I am celiac). Nothing was too much trouble for our server (ID #75). We ordered three different mains and all were perfect. The boats in the adjacent marina, along with the close views of the harbour, provided a wonderful ambiance. We highly recommend the Boom and Batten.
