I would recommend Born and Raised and I have to everyone I know and don't know. Fantastic Food, atmotsphere, and service is welcoming. I've been there quite a few times with my friends and they all really enjoyed it, they said they also loved the food and really liked all the pizzas. I looked forward to visiting again there soon. Thanks.

My husband and I went to the restaurant for a last minute reservation. The only times available were 5:15 or 8:00 which caused us to rush. Fortunately we weren’t too late. We shared a sopressata, sun dried tomatoes and chili oil pizza. They accommodated us by serving the oil on the side. I had a small glass of Chardonnay with ice and Dolce de Leche gelato. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was excellent. It was a great experience and we would go back. The restaurant does look better at night and could use an up-date inside. It looked like they were making some improvements on the outside patio.

All the food choices were amazingly delicious! Staff are very accommodating. The website needs to be updated tho. Prices have increased and the wine selection is minimal.

Food was good and of high quality. However, our waiter failed to mention to us any specials offered for that day, like 50% on wine and on antipasto appetizers on Sunday. Also, my husband’s beer had something weird in it and had to be sent back. (A beer on the house could have been a nice gesture). Fried dish was a bit smaller and more expensive than what we’re used to for an appetizer of calamari, compared to other Italian restaurants in Hamilton. Pizza was excellent, although comparable to other local restaurants. Was disappointed by service mostly. Had really high expectations. Food expectations were met. Service was less.

Ask about price before changing an entree. My friend substituted pasta instead of polenta. The $16 price increased by $6 for a few strands of spaghetti!!! Server did not inform us of price increase.

We had an excellent experience here! Our table was not quite ready when we arrived, but the staff took care of that nicely for us. Our server, I can't recall his name (but he looked like Ewan McGregor!) was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and accommodating. He really did help to make the night that much better. We had the DOP and Pepperoni - both were amazing, but the Pepperoni really stood out - I'd go back just for that pizza.

The only complaint I would have is the sound. it was VERY loud inside. We still had a great time, but I think it would have been even more enjoyable if the volume was a bit less....

We will definitely be back.

We had a fantastic time! Our server was knowledgeable and made great suggestions. The food was absolutely amazing. Order the burrata and bread. It’s a must. The gnocchi was the best I have ever had. We can’t wait to come back!

The food is always really good. I have eaten here a few times and really like it. The noise is a bit much though. It is a really bustling place. The prices are reasonable. The food is easily good enough to support it being a bit more than casual pricing. I do wish, however, that here and in so many other restaurants, to turn down the music and/or make it more suitable to the dining experience. That being said I will still go back.

Amazing food! Staff was incredible.! We had a reservation for 8:30pm and we not seated until 8:45pm not a big deal if there was somewhere to sit or even stand and have a drink but the restaurant was jammed packed with people, some eating at the bar. We stood by the front door and were in the way for guest coming and going while we waited for our table. Again not a big deal and was quickly a distant memory after we sat down and enjoyed our delicious dinning experience.

The pizza was dry and burnt. With little flavour. Walnut pesto. The dessert was very disappointing. States chocolate torte. Was a meringue with some dark chocolate. Wine by the glass was extraordinarily expensive for 5 oz

We find the wait staff very personable, efficient and attentive without being overbearing in the slightest. The Negronis were lovely. We also LOVED the dulce de leche gelato. However, we weren't crazy about our mains. I love octopus and things with squid ink... so yay, I thought. The texture of the octopus was absolutely excellent. However, it was insanely salty. Not inedible salty but certainly "whoa man, that's really salty" which felt unnecessary. I was tasting beautifully textured salt and I had to seek out bite after bite of the fregola (was it really fregola? I haven't seen fregola that large... it seemed more on the way to Israeli couscous, but I digress) to counterbalance the salt of the octopus. And I like salty things. But this .... this was another level.
My wife had the marinara pizza -- straightforward enough, but the basil was exceptionally bitter. I know this can happen with fresh basil, but there could have been something on the pizza... a sprinkling of cheese? some red pepper flakes? to offset the bitterness. Bitter was what we tasted. The sangiovese by the glass was excellent.

Thing is, we SO wanted to absolutely adore our dishes! We were so happy when the dulce de leche saved the day.
Yes, it was a bit noisy and we can live with that, so long as the food is on point. And, sadly, that evening it just wasn't. While we like things that are both salty and bitter, we had dishes that were too much of either.

The marinara pizza was outstanding. Happy to see a dairy-free option without having to do modifications. That said, the other mods that I did were well-received by the server and accommodated without any hesitation.

Flavours were awesome, service (Jeremy) was perfect. Steak was better than The Keg, fries .. best in the city?? Cocktails were amazing, wine was half price (how can you beat that?)
