The American steakhouse is an iconic restaurant institution. We’d wanted to tell that story for years, but waited until we had the skill, talent and ability to execute it properly, and the right space to be our canvas, an important corner in Little Italy, a neighborhood where we have deep roots. We brought an almost academic appreciation for steakhouse history and tradition to Born & Raised, while trying to stay relevant and authentic to ourselves and our city. Our dry-aged beef pays tribute to earlier, earthier, pre-government grading practices and is the centerpiece of a meal best savored at a slow pace. A timeless celebration of everything that makes restaurants so special. - Consortium Holdings. A 4% surcharge is added to all guest checks.

The scene is just as sizzling as the steaks at this Little Italy stunner. Born & Raised turns the old-school steakhouse genre on its head, displaying photos of rap legends in the all-gold, super-glam dining room. There are steakhouse faithfuls, plus carts that prep vintage cocktails tableside. The result is an OTT steakhouse fit for the highest of high rollers.

                                                                          Incredible experience. Do yourself a solid and dress up to go out. This place is not casual, and it is delightful. Everyone involved is focused on quality of experience and it really shows.

                                                                          Our steaks were perfectly prepared and we enjoyed all the sides. Unfortunately the service was extremely disappointing— waiter had zero personality, did not offer any suggestions from the menu, we had to search him out to place order and anytime we needed something, and it took 20 minutes for him to return with our check. When you are spending $700 for dinner, you would expect excellent service. They really missed the mark on this one.

We chose this restaurant to celebrate our anniversary, and it exceeded our expectations. The food was superb, the service provided by our waiter was attentive and courteous, and the ambiance was both elegant and inviting. Born and Raised truly offers a memorable dining experience for special occasions.

We went there to celebrate a very important milestone at the establishment just for several people to tell us congrats out of force of habit. We weren’t looking for something comped but what was the point in asking if we were there to celebrate anything just to say congrats? Overall great establishment and great food!
