   Service wasn’t great, they brought the salads and entrees at the same time, one meal came 10 minutes later than the others, they didn’t bring one desert and the meat wasn’t that good. I would not go back.

   We love the steak frites dinners at Chops. The steaks are always delicious, the salad is fresh and the fries are right out of the fryer. Our server was pleasant and attentive. We will be back.

   Popovers were underwhelming, but the steak frites and chicken under a brick were delicious and well-prepared and plates. Steak was Cooked to the perfect medium rare, but the fries were meh. The chicken was surprisingly excellent- moist, tender, with a firm flavorful mushroom risotto, seared spinach, and shaved Parmesan. Should have skipped the skillet cookie , it did not have nearly enough chocolate chips. Service was fine, but perfunctory, perhaps because it was a graduation weekend? The music clashed somewhat with the ambiance but was not too loud and that allowed for conversation. All in all, the experience was overpriced.

   A hidden gem! Quieter than the chain steakhouses, and less stuffy. The steak was perfectly done, and the staff was attentive, but not overbearing. Will return ☺️

   Second time here. First time we sat in the back by the wine display and it was nice. This time we sat @ the tables by the bar and it was quite loud, but not obnoxiously so. Food was outstanding and well prepared. Service was OK. Not stellar, but OK. We didn't see our waiter too much which was a sharp contrast from our previous experience where our waitress was attentive but not hovering. Prices are about what one would expect from a good steakhouse and the food was well prepared and worth the price. Wine was also reasonably priced, especially for the more expensive bottles which closely matched retail prices. Overall an excellent experience (again) and I would definitely go back there again.

    For the manager to not make a great first impression, was very bad. Himself nor the waitress were welcoming, It took 15 mins for my table to get WATER. Once food arrived, the steak was not cooked properly to my liking. My table was not asked to cut the steak to make sure it was cooked correctly. We weren't asked how the food was. As I am a popular food critic who travels to different states and share my review on social media, I am not pleased!

    All the steaks should come with a side of something. Or at least a garnish. Just meat on a plate wasn't very appetizing. Delicious, but not appetizing.

    Our server Shane….perhaps it was busy….but immediately greeted us and asked could tell he had attitude. Our table of 5 was pleasant and conversational…when he was taking our drinks order was quick and rude. It was an expensive night out and we collectively agree that he dampened the night with his attitude. We paid way to much money to have a sour taste about the service.

    Ordered the Tomahawk steak for 2 it was smaller than what we saw on the photos and it costed $160! Our waiter initially said $130 so idk where the confusion was but it was not very satisfying despite paying that much. I’d rather cook my own steak tbh.

    I had the 18 oz Prime Bone-In Rib Eye Steak with a Loaded Baked Potato Poutine Style and it amazing. Everything was perfect. I definitely will be back.

    I wouldn’t order the fried chicken. Lacking flavor - KFC quality. The sea bass and Thai chili calamari were great. Bone marrow not so great but the oxtail were good.

    The food is exceptional and the drinks were fantastic. The staff were so welcoming and attentive. You were able to enjoy your meal without the constant questions but always appeared at the right time. One of our favorite parts was that the “fries fairy” would come back to the table to deliver more fresh fries for the Steak Frites. If you are looking for a great steak dinner in a restaurant with a fun vibe do yourself a favor and have dinner here.

    Even with a reservation we had to wait 25 min for our table. Had to ask for water part way through dinner when they were empty for over 15 min. Great food and atmosphere. Server was very nice.

    Boston Chops has been our post Marathon celebration meal for 3 years running and will continue to be. Everything is great from the drinks to the service and it’s become one of our favorite meals of the year.

    The ambiance at Chop’s always lends itself to special occasions ( in this case Easter). Out server was excellent, striking just the right balance between friendly yet professional. She checked in with us twice after our food came out, kept a watchful eye on our glasses and seemed to return the very moment a refill was needed. My friend got the Chop’s burger with fries—a few of which I had to steal as soon as I saw them. They’re shoestring fries that come out perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They were delicious. My friend enjoyed his burger and finished off. The steak and blue salad I ordered was tasty enough, but unfortunately the medium plus steak I ordered was served to me medium rare. I know the server would’ve had the kitchen fix it, but I was hungry and didn’t much feel like waiting at that point. The Sauvignon blanc I ordered was crisp and fruity.     I came here for Easter Brunch on 4/9/23 with my family and our experience was delightful! From the start, the staff was attentive, on top of any request we made, and so friendly. Our waiter, Chris, was wonderful during the entire service- he frequently checked in on us to make sure we had everything we possibly needed without being overbearing- he knew the right time to come and check in on us. The rest of the wait staff was also great and our food was brought out to us in a timely manner. My entire family had nothing but great things to say about the food. The portions were just right- we all felt satiated after the meal without feeling overstuffed. Overall this was an incredible experience with my family- I definitely recommend it and will be returning!

    We dined here for the first time for my husbands birthday. The atmosphere was nice. The tables are a little too close for my liking. We ordered Thai Chili and Sweet Soy Calamari, NY Strip, Chicken under a brick, Spicy Broccoli and mac and cheese for sides. The Calamari was delicious perfect blend of sweet and spicy. The Chicken was flavorful and the risotto delicious. My husband was content with his steak, although he says he's had better. The mac and cheese was not our favorite and the Spicy broccoli was flavorful.
