The Room is Beautiful and the food was great. 2 of the sides were not done well. But everything else was beautifully done.
It is not at all pretentious or stuffy. A casual and comfortable environment but sophisticated at the same time.

Everything was amazing from our server to every dish we have. The mushroom tagliatelle is a must have. Our server was fantastic and super knowledgeable. Perfect place for my gfs bday. The brown butter cake was top notch. Not a bite was left behind

The server was not attentive. She didn’t come when she said so. She didn’t explain well about the menus when we had a question about them. We felt ignored while we were there.
It was lovely, but their bar is currently closed and we came specifically for their cocktails, so that was a little disappointing to learn upon arrival.

The food at the botanist is simply amazing. I have been there a few times now and have never been disappointed. The halibut was perfect.
The only downside this time was that the service was quite slow (especially considering there were hardly any other tables), and also that their upstairs bar with all the fun fancy drinks is not currently open.
Still a very wonderful evening - highly recommend for a date or special occasion.

If you’re looking for a full pre-Covid dining experience, then don’t bother going right now. The regular bartenders and bakery chef are apparently laid off at the moment, so you won’t be getting the house made bread or regular cocktail menu (things that they are known for). But instead, you get the cocktails from the bar downstairs which are definitely not worth the price. The floor also seemed to be understaffed, as it took way too long to get a menu or bill, etc. We spent over three hours there and half the time waiting and it definitely did not need to take that long. Overall, we were left quite disappointed as we had good experiences before.

Superb food. Best meal I've had all year. I have Celiac (zero tolerance to gluten) and the kitchen modified their dishes and I don't even care what the original recipe was, it was so good. Fantastic service, and very safe COVID measures.
