Celebrated my birthday. The service from the moment you come in is amazing. It’s extremely clean. Staff are very professional. The food was impeccable! Seriously the best brunch I’ve ever had! I can’t wait to come back.

What a wonderful restaurant. As a plant-based lover of food, I found the menu to be thoughtful and creative with excellent vegetable-forward fine dining options while still having a menu that caters to meat eaters. The cocktail menu was also creative and very in keeping with the overall vibes of the restaurant. I found the service to be fantastic, and the overall ambiance very impressive and memorable. Food quality matched the price point. Can’t wait to return!
People with allergy diets are quite restricted here, great service and beautiful ambiance though.
Situated in one of the most luxurious hotels in Vancouver, the Botanist matches the hotel's high standards with amazing food, cocktails, and service. Great place for a special occasion or if you want to splurge a little bit. It's one of those restaurants that gives you an experience with food that would be extremely difficult to replicate at home; that to me is always worth the premium. Vegan options are available, and they are more than happy to accommodate any other dietary restrictions.
Nice restaurant but overpriced and lacked atmosphere. Food was good but not worth the price tag. Service was decent.

I had called and asked earlier to be seated at a booth or by the flowers. I was told yes but that didnt happen. The overall experience was ok.
Only complaint was the chair I was sitting in. No back rest and awkward to sit in. Benches are much better. At least in a party of 2 one person will be enjoying their evening.

Nice place. Not a big fan of the food compared to the expensive price. We had the valentines tasting menu. We both liked 3 out of the 6 dishes. One of the waiter forgot to bring us spoon and we had to ask for it. Another misunderstood our refill request. For the expensive price, it wasn’t spectacular nor was it the best food we ever had. The decor and ambience wasn’t as cozy and romantic as other restaurants. Doesn’t feel as high end as it has advertised. The seat also has stain on it. It was an experience we had wanted to do for a long time. But afterwards didn’t feel it met our expectations. That’s okay thou. At least the dessert was great! However we probably won’t come back.
5 year anniversary
Food was way over priced and service was not up to par. Was there to celebrate milestone birthday and no dessert offered and no complimentary dessert given.
Best dining experience I've had to date. Had a wonderful Mocktail, starter, main, and dessert. Restaurant was gorgeous, food was beyond my high expectations and the service was wonderful. Can not say enough about this experience. I can not recommend strongly enough
Even during this unprecedented time, we felt very comfortable with the standards of sanitizing of areas, social distancing of tables and engagement with staff taking care of us which all made for a great evening!!!

I got the Beef Tartare + benny’s Croque Madame , and my friend the cheese plate + benny’s mushroom risoto. We shared the avocado toast. Everything was delicious, well seasoned and warm (I hate cold eggs).
A French guy called Hugo was in charge of our table and provided a great experience.

We had the weekend brunch. It was so delicious. And their drinks have so much alcohol we got drunk. The service is really good and you really feel you're eating in a luxury hotel restaurant. The only problem with ambience is being so close to the kitchen. It doesn't feel really high class to look into a kitchen. I would go back. The price was worth it.
