   I mean my panini was pretty good but our waiter made our experience amazing!! He was from rome and was a joy to talk to. We were celebrating a graduation from medical school and he gave us free lemonciello shots. Loved it!

   Do yourself a favor, and give this place a try! Made a reservation for 2 to celebrate my husband’s birthday. I loved the table at which we were seated. I had requested inside seating, which we got, but right near a large door open to the patio. With the beautiful weather, it was the best of both. The server was very personable and efficient. We had Goat Cheese Brulee for an appetizer and it was delicious. I wanted soup, and the server suggested their lentil soup - excellent choice! My husband had a craving for the Tagliatelle Bolognese (fresh pasta in Bolognese meat sauce and Parmigiana Reggiano) which he had had there before. I had Ravioli, stuffed with broccoli, garlic and cream sauce. We both really enjoyed the entrees. For dessert we ordered Affogato Al Caffe (vanilla gelato topped with espresso and coffee liqueur - SO GOOD!) They also brought out an awesome trio of cannolis, complete with a sparkler!) for my husband’s birthday. The owner stopped by the table, as usual, to see how everything was. It couldn’t have been a better meal/evening, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit! FYI, plenty of vegetarian/vegan options, and the pizzas are great too. So glad we chose Bottega for his birthday!

   The food was delicious, but the service was slow. The waiter would disappear for a long time whether we needed something or not. The place was packed so it was loud. Even though there were a few issues, I will keep coming back!

    Service, food, and drinks always outstanding. Noise level too much for us so we try to avoid entertainment weekends and prefer patio seating. Bottega Ristorante is a favorite place.

    We made a reservation the previous day. It was confirmed.. I asked to modify it to 30 minutes later. They accommodated us. When we arrived we were seated. We ordered an appetizer. Then we ordered a pizza. We were told that they were not able to serve any pizza that day. Pizzeria is part of their name and it is why we came. I understand that some circumstances are unforeseen. We should have been told at time of reservation, modification , arrival, seating or when we ordered the drinks and appetizer that half their menu was unavailable. We finished our appetizer, which was delicious, and left.

    The nest specialty pizzas in the whole area. It's my hubby and my favorite Italian restaurant! And if you have the joy of having Giovanni as your waiter, you are in for a treat. He's amazing!!

    Great local Italian place…everyone was friendly and so accommodating, they were super busy because of Mother’s Day but got us in pretty quick with a last minute reservation. The service was slower because they were busy and they ran out of pizza but other than that we loved this place will be back. (I’ve been for lunch but never dinner so it’s good to know their dinner is also very good) The mushroom white sauce pasta was so good and my husband had the lobster pasta special it was a good spicy and he said it was amazing!! The tiramisu and Nutella chocolate cake was bomb!! Oh and they had live music a nice plus!!!

    We celebrated three mothers on their special day. Omar was our server. He was excellent as it was a very busy day. He gave us great recommendations as this was our first time eating at Botegga restaurant. We are from out of state so it was an excellent meal and choice and evening. Thank you.

    Tried Bottega for the first time and loved it! Great menu, not too much like some Italian restaurants that make it confusing. Had the pizza and it was delicious! Wait staff is very helpful and friendly…will definitely come back again!

    So noisy that it was hard to have our own conversation. It was a relief when the place was almost empty at 9 pm. We had reservations for 7 and arrived 5-10 minutes before yet we didn’t get seated until 7:30ish so I think it was almost 8 pm when we received our drinks — Waiter was very personable — staff do need not to reach over a Diner when setting plates on table or removing them.

    The food was really good!! Service was a little slow, but our server was very nice. We weren’t in a hurry so all was good. Will definitely go back again. Parking was atrocious though. It took us 25 minutes to find parking. Next time we’ll Uber!

    I attended Botegga's Rombauer Four Course Wine Pairing Dinner. I went solo since my friend canceled, but would not do that again. It was soooo noisy in the big room that it was hard to hear anyone at the table, giving me a headache. The food pairings were just okay, and I did not care for the 3rd/main course at all since I'm not crazy about bacon. The wine tastings were fine except for the Merlot which I found unpleasant--it made my face distort. I like the restaurant itself, but not the wine tastings.

These types of event are meant to be attended with an open mind, a diverse palate and a LOVE for everything wine. The wines and menu pairings were listed when you made your reservations, therefore it should not have been a surprise to you that one of the courses included bacon.     We were really early for our reservation and decided to wait since the reviews were so good. The sauce for our kiddo’s meal was super salty, the chicken parm was good but nothing to rave about, the white lasagna came out with a room temperature center and the server was very kind but definitely was over sat, we had refills on drinks 2x despite being empty for over half the meal. They offered another bread but then never actually brought it out. Their green butter and sun dried tomato bread was the best part of the meal but the bread was all cold. The little candies at the hostess counter were really good but overall, we would not return for the food, service or price.

    First time at this restaurant. It took about an hour from the time we ordered to get our dinner. Both of us ordered the salmon (which was a mistake). My wife ordered 2 sides that were cold and over cooked. We have never had to wait so long for dinner in all of the Phx area. Maybe their pizza would have been a better choice.

You caught us on a very busy Saturday night with 250+ seated guests during your visit. We prepare all our dishes fresh when ordered from scratch. Salmon takes 20 min in the oven. From the time you were seated to the time you left, it was only an hour and 15 min. We did comp the side that you did not enjoy. Regardless of our efforts, you sir are a difficult one to please.
