   Cute lil place. PROS: The food was delicious. Typical small French servings. Good wine list. Cons: Difficult to navigate through due to size and table setting and overall "musty" scent. French coffee press was the only option with dessert, and as a coffee lover, I was very disappointed. Had to leave a full cup and 3/4 carafe which was noted by the server with no further inquiry/compensation. Removing the $14 charge on a substantial bill would have been a kind gesture of appreciation.

   Bad experience. No good wine for fair price. Owner took over our table and destroyed our date. Very unprofessional.

   What a gem! Found this lovely resto on Dundas and Ossington. Went there on a Wednesday with a friend. Not too busy. The food was super fresh and they have amazing cocktails and wine. We ordered a couple of cocktails to start and the staff offered us a glass of red wine each to go with our meal…. What a kind gesture!! We ordered lobster croquettes and steak tartare to start. The croquettes were hands down the best I’ve had - a little taste of heaven!! And the tartare with a quail egg paté was excellent! We proceeded to share the steak frites. Oh the garçon, a very polite and friendly French gentleman by the name of Ludovic, thoughtfully told the kitchen who then helped us split the food so we each had a half portion and got to savour every bite. It was amazing!!!

   Disorganized kitchen and wait staff. Wait staff was not knowledgeable about how the food was prepared and why particular wines were paired with the food. Our server didn't even know what our next dish was going to be when asked. I won't go back. I'd rather spend my money at a restaurant where they understand that experience is more than putting food on the table and walking away.

    We had dinner at Bouffe last night my husband and I, but we were there also on NYE with a larger crowd of 8. The food is incredible (we highly recommend the warm mushroom salad, steak tartare and the bouillabaisse). The chef is very conscious of his restaurant and it shows. The service was great. The wine and cocktails delicious. We'll be back for sure.

    My partner and I love BOUFFE. The ambience is perfect for a dinner with friends or a date night. We love the steak tartare, endive watercress salad, and steak frites! Their French wine selection is to die for! If you’re reading this and debating making a reservation, just do it.

    Had a lovely Valentine’s dinner at Bouffe. Really great value for the amount and quality of food we were served. Champagne cocktail, salmon / caviar amuse bouche, sea food plate, foie gras and filet mignonette with large half lobster. Dishes were cooked perfectly. I thought the ambiance was romantic and super cozy. Will be returning

    Been meaning to try Bouffe since it opened, and when I saw tables available for Valentine's I thought why not! They were quite packed, but did their best to stay on top of everything and keep patrons happy. We were seated promptly, food was good, room was nice and modern. Lived up to expectations and am eager to check it out on a regular night. Extra credit to the new Parisian server who was on his third shift at the restaurant and trying his best to stay on top of things!

    Terrible experience, took my girlfriend here for valentines night dinner. The place is very small yet they tried to cram as many people into the place as possible. One couple was even put on the same table with another group, simply unacceptable. Kitchen was clearly overwhelmed and in a tailspin, we waited 1 hour for our appetizer and another hour for the main course. Staff were ignorant at first and only showed attentiveness after we expressed displeasure. Average food, terrible service, never going back again.

    Beautiful dinner @bouffe_toronto So I finally made it out to check out the @davidadjey newest creation. The place is very quaint with a cozy feel. Service tonight was very good and I would give out waiter a 5 star for details and service. The wine selection was small but very sufficient. The cocktails were nicely done. The food was a hit and some misses. The oysters were fresh and well presented. The croquet was very good. The lobster bisque was not very good but I am guessing they missed some seasoning. Thr steak tartare was incredible and is highly recommend. Chef has tried to reinvent some dishes and some were real successful plates and some were not my taste but were well done for the most part. I am going to say stick with the classics and you wont be disappointed. Im giving this place a 4 out of 5.

    Excellent food, well thought out, both taste-wise and presentation-wise. I kind of wish they had a slightly broader "by the glass" wine selection, to better pair with individual courses. That said, the wine list was solid and we were definitely happy with our choice.

    Amazing steak frites - definitely the best in the city. Rebecca was our server and she was dynamic, friendly and fun. Fantastic service. Delicious food. I asked for decaf coffee with dessert and it was definitely decaf, which is a rare thing for me (usually I realize as I lie awake at 3am that I wasn't served decaf). A bit disappointing that they did not have bread, nor tarte tatin. But not disappointing enough to dock any stars. I would definitely recommend Bouffe.

    We thoroughly enjoyed the Chefs menu last night and they were very accommodating to my no red wine request when we ordered the pairings along with. Food was delicious, standouts were the lobster croquettes and the duck confit. Service was fantastic!!! Will be back!

    Overall we had a great experience. The food was awesome. Highly recommend the bouillabaisse in particular. Chock full of fish and seafood with subtle fennel and saffron flavours. Wine list is pricey. I’d go more often if there were a few more reasonably priced wines. Atmosphere was fun and lively. The servers really care about the food and the chef was out and about, serving dishes and explaining his dishes. It was my friend’s birthday. We ordered a dessert and the chef brought it out to her with a birthday candle - nice touch!

    We had New Year’s Eve dinner here! Good value for this 7 course meal. The restaurant is cosy but we found it very noisy. It was hard to talk to the person just sitting across from me. Service was great!

    Expecting more and found the food lacklustre and uninspiring, especially at those prices. Brussel sprouts for $19 that did not even taste like Brussels sprouts. C maybe we hit a bad night. That happens now and then.

    All of the food - apps, mains and one shared creme brulee - were good. Duck deux fois was highly rated by companions. My bouillabaisse was good but too much rouille for my taste - would rather it and toasts be served on side. Service was very good.

    Excellent atmosphere. Inventive cocktails and an all-French wine list. Classic French food executed perfectly along with great service. 'Duck Deux Fois' was just the right amount of meaty decadence. Gorgeous crispy skin on the confit leg. Sitting at the bar to be taken care of by Matty the bartender was a treat as a solo diner.

    The service is attentive, engaging and comes with spot on recommendations. The bartender whipped up some magic from a creative cocktail list. And the kitchen clearly has a mastery of French cuisine… and works unprecedented magic with lamb.
