   What a gem Bouvardia is!!! We had an amazing meal. The food was bursting with flavor and beautifully displayed each course we had. The service is impeccable with friendliness and great efficiency. The restaurant itself is elegant and the furnishings are lovely. A large, but not noisy, fountain offers a lovely sound as one eats. Wonderful experience!!

   We had the six course menu which is to be recommended. The food was cooked to perfection - we enjoyed each course. The service was fast and friendly without being invasive. A beautiful, ambient little restaurant We would have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant and hope to be revisiting very soon. Only wish we lived closer!

   A small but delightful restaurant with 3 or 5 course supper options, which provides a good choice of delightfully presented courses. The staff are friendly and accommodating and the room is intimate, but with good spacing of the tables. The room is well lit and has good ambiance for evening dining, the slight markdown being that if one faces the glazed outer wall, the view is of the car park.

    This is a great hotel with an outstanding dining experience. 3 courses for £49 or 6 courses at £59 to choose from. The quality of the food was excellent with every course cooked to order, exceptional touches such as candied lemon peel on smoked salmon with beetroot purée as a starter. If you are in Bath I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, both as an overnight stay or a great evening meal.

    A lovely restaurant slightly out of town, so a short taxi ride for us. The culinary expertise and service was excellent. The ambience was classical. Whether local or visiting Bath for a week or so, I would certainly recommend the restaurant. Arrive slightly early and enjoy a glass of champagne or a cocktail in the drawing room and a digestivo afterwards.

    This was a nice enough place to have Sunday lunch . Very traditional, in fact old fashioned. Would suit older diners or a family occasion just fine. It was very quiet when we were there- hushed atmosphere so it lacked warmth and ambience. Food was perfectly acceptable. The roast beef Sunday dinner was particularly well cooked and presented. Service was good and attentive. Would definitely benefit from being busier. There is a car park to the rear which we hadn’t realised .

    We were checked in to the restaurant in a fast and polite manner. The six courses were spread out well and were all exquisitely presented and tasted fantastic. All seven had a fantastic flavour profile that showed the chef had extreme talent and dedication to their craft. I am fortunate enough to have dined all around the world and I can say without hesitation this was one of the best meals I have had the pleasure of eating. I would easily recommend this to anyone !

    The ambience of the place was good unfortunately the food was not as impressive. For £200 for 2 of us, it was a little underwhelming. Ordered a bellini each and was disappointed with that too.

    The menu is limited but beautiful food, elegantly presented and delicious. Service very professional and warm. The room is intimate and very quiet so perhaps more suited to couples, small groups rather than large parties.

    The 6 course meals were incredible! We had one normal, and one vegan and both were beautiful! The chef even changed the dish slightly due to a mushroom allergy for us, and the replacements were just as delicious! We had one lady serving us and she was bloody brill! 10000% would recommend!

    Bouvarida was a wonderful restaurant, and I will definately be going there again soon. Great location, amazing yummy food, polite staff. A really lovely place to have dinner. It is small, so you feel special to be there - unlike being in a massive restaurant where you feel ignored and not important - in this place you feel really important and honered to be invited to this luxury restaurant.

    Quaint place in a normal Bath residential street, you could easily miss it if you didn't know it as there. Food was delicious and beautifully presented. Staff extremely attentative, friendly and efficient. Cosy dining area with about 10 tables. Ambiance lovely with the exception that we had a quite loud and argumentative couple next to us. Thankfully it didn't continue all evening! We booked an evening meal and were a little shocked to find there was only a set 6 course meal, with no a la carte available and at £60 per head including the 20% discount, it turned out to be an expensive meal once you add drinks and service charge as well. Note to self and others, check the menu before you book so you know what to expect. One gripe was that the bread you normally get as a side was included as a "course" which I thought was a bit cheeky. A big shock to our wallets but all in all we had a very pleasant evening and were made to feel special. Great for a special, "personal touch" occasion. We will definately return when our next special occasion arrives.

    The whole experience was first class from arrival to departure and all in between. Food was Michelin star level. Only query would be that calling it a 6 course taster was a little exaggerated as one course was bread so really 5 course. Worth adding a cheese course would complete the experience. I would recommend happily to others and will certainly be back

    A quiet Friday night. We were one of 3 tables that night (5 people in total). Comfortable setting. The food appeared pre prepared en masse apart from the fish and venison main course swhich were tasty. The desserts were very poor a hard crust on the fondant as if overheated by microwave and the panacotta was tough - chewy even. An expensive meal that did not live up to expectations and then to cap it all a 12.5% service charge.

    Outstanding food in a pleasant dining room, very good service. The menu was discounted to attract new trade. We walked here from Bath riverside. At full price this would definitely be for special occasion dining. I think the pre- pudding pudding was lovely but unnecessary. I enjoyed delicious scallops and venison - first rate, beautifully balanced plates. My partner chose beetroot and turbot, equally enjoyed. The table bread was fantastic, light and tasty. The wine list offered a good choice of wines by the glass and a fair range of origin and price. Didn’t notice the walk home!

    The restaurant is beautiful and luxury. Service is really good. We had 2 adults and 2 kids, although there is no kids menu, the chef cooked some grilled chicken fillet and fries with peas for my kids, and those are so good for health and suitable for kids, really appreciated! We picked scallops, venison loin, turbot, all are so good. Starters and dessert are very nice as well.
