Amazing time here! The food was outstanding and the value for the amount of food you get is incredible. We had the beef tartare to start which was killer and then the steak frites and chicken supreme both were juicy and so so flavourful. Service was quick and polite!

An awesome assortment of cocktails, well balanced. The suggested wine pairings is a great way to assist non wine connoisseurs find a good option. The food is awesome, a nice fusion take on brusslesprouts is a must try. The servers were a joy to have, the kitchen staff were well kept and took pride in their work. The boxer burger is 11/10 for any red meat eaters.

Boxer was amazing the food was unreal and the staff were so nice and helpful! I would highly recommend giving this place a try especially if you are looking for a nice “special occasion” dinner.

Food was delicious! So many drink choices that we had to stay a while to try a few :) We loved the decor and the staff were all lovely. Would definitely go back!

That is my 2nd visit and I would say not the last one. I brought my husband and his sister this time, and they also liked it. Simple but very tasty food, good vine and good service. Just keep up!!!

Tables for 2 are pretty small & really close to the other tables. My husband had the waitress’ butt in his face while she was serving the other table…. Great drinks & wine selection. Food was really good

This is a great restaurant in the heart of Strathcona to go for a romantic night out or fun with friends. Drink selection is massive and trust the bartenders they will craft a delightful cocktail based on your wants as well. Food was fantastic- Artic char was prepared masterly with such a great crunchy skin and not overcooked flesh. Price point is reasonable for the value you get.

Awesome cocktail menu! Brunch menu was delicious. Gluten free options weren't labelled on the menu but the kitchen and wait staff were able to identify dishes that could be modified. The parmesan potato hash was really good!

Great little bar+restaurant. The drink menu is absolutely insane and the accompanying appys are brilliant. Do yourself a favor and give the Brussels Sprouts a try, I could drink a soup of just the broth!

Unique New York vibes are delivered and experienced at the Boxer - along with some excellent fresh cocktails! Especially loved the Southern Old Fashioned. Food was spot on and we are definitely coming back soon!

Our server was amazing and food was good but the host was horrible. She refused to find us a table unless we went online to book a table for our group. Once we booked separate tables for our large group and half of us were seated we were told that we can't do that since we're a large group and we would walk around to mingle, which we were not doing. She was rude the entire time and made the experience horrible. One of the tables had to wait 45mins for cutlery. We did complain and rectify the issue, which was nice.

I enjoyed this bar in the past, but I was definitely disappointed this round. I brought a group of 8 people - they didn’t have our table ready despite a reservation in advance, the area they gave us was really awkward to get into, the service was quite slow, and then they placed 18% gratituity on our bills without prior notice. It was not a great experience.

The menu selection is just right, you know the kitchen is focused on the food when it’s a menu like this. The wine pairings are thoughtful and the cocktails are delicious. The service was polite and courteous from the time we walked in to the time we left. The ambiance was spectacular.

We were an hour early for our reservation and they were so polite and accommodating! They moved some stuff around and sat us early! The hostess with red hair with the tiny waist, she was so amazing! Our server had dark brown hair with a bunny tattoo! She was equally so amazing! So pleased with our experience

Our server was great and the cocktails delicious. The food, however, was bland and under-seasoned. I had the chicken supreme and my chicken was rubbery and the potatoes in the pave were still raw. Very disappointing as we’d heard it was good. I’d come back for cocktails but not food.
