   Branchline is a lovely place to go between the the great food, lovely patio and excellent service. I had a party of 9 and we had adjusted our reservation multiple times and the staff was so accommodating and kind about it. They even called ahead of time to see if we wanted to sit under the covered patio due the heat/sun. 10/10 love.

   We arrived on time and were seated right away. Our server stopped by almost immediately to introduce himself, provide the menus, and ask for our drink orders. After ordering, we were surprised at how quickly our meals appeared. We each had the shrimp starter and a salad and the food was outstanding. The service was also amazing the entire time we were there. The one disappointment was being charged for two unsweetened ice teas. Given the cost of the food there, they should comp refills of iced tea.

   Branch Line is my favorite restaurant in my area. I go there often by myself for lunch or dinner and sometimes go with my daughter and her family (daughter, son-in-law, and two grandsons. The staff is very friendly and attentive, the food is very good and reasonably priced, and the setting is lovely, including an outdoor patio. It is owned by a local family and the staff greet me by name and ask how my family is. I highly recommend Branch Line.

   We have dined at Branch Line several times since their opening. We tend to order the same items-have found it consistent, fresh & good-especially when needing a break from my stove! In the pandemic we would drive & take out, eat in our car and be oh so happy with the burger & fries! Since, we have dined in their outdoor covered patio. It’s nice & recommendable. 4 Stars only for the past but would give 3.5 for the food. We want to praise the wait staff, from waitstaff, table clerks etc., which are wonderful, friendly & professionally attentive, the food this time was not up to par. Appetizer: Sticky Ribs: yum! Snap Pea Salad: good (but less ricotta than usual). Main Courses Cheeseburger & Fries: the burger was as good as ever, cooked to our requested medium rare. Fries? Missing upon serving & smashed potatoes instead. After inquiring why the substitution? We were told fries were not available & we should have been informed. Potatoes were good (our guest said) but they prefer fries. 1/2 Bird: rotisserie chicken with potatoes: I asked to not have potatoes & the waiter was very accommodation with a varied choice. I choose asparagus.The chicken was very tender, asparagus good but the jus or “house sauce” was not sauce but more like flavored water. New Main Berkshire Pork Chop: mustard cream sauce Latke and Sauerkraut My husband is German & I thought this would be a great change. I was wrong! It will never be ordered again.The chop was over cooked, on the drier side - not a hint of pink.The Latke was not a latke. It was a thin 1/4” crispy layer of shredded potatoes-the kraut not memorable. Overall the entire dish was overpowered with vinegar - including the mustard cream sauce. While my husband ate it-reluctantly-not wanting to turn it back or bother the very busy waitstaff (large parties were dining) I did mention it to the head waiter. He said he would inform the chef. We have enjoyed our past meals but this was not one. It has left a hesitation for a next time.

   I made a 9pm reservation and it was very clear that we were unwelcome and they wanted to leave as quickly as possible. Our 2 appetizers and 4 entrees all came out at the same time. They started cleaning tables and stacking chairs at 9:30. None of us were asked if we wanted a second drink nor were our water glasses refilled. Someone took my plate before I was even done eating. If you HAVE to close at 10pm stop taking reservations at 8:30. It was a special occasion and I would have made a reservation somewhere else had I known we’d be rushed out. Very disappointed.

    Over all is was good but not as good as we have come to expect. The biggest challenge was the service. We sat outside and had Very slow service even though it was later in the day and didn’t seem that busy. They were out of what my son wanted and so he ordered something else which he really didn’t like so he ended up eating some of mine and my husband’s which left us hungry. My daughter’s dessert, which the waiter recommended, seemed like it came out of a commercial brand from the grocery store. Lastly, we opted to be outside so shame on us but some Of us were cold and others were frying under the heat lamp.

    Perfectly toes the "neighborhood restaurant" and "special occasion restaurant" line. All of the food was amazing, staff is great, and every type of person was there. Couples on date nights, families with young kids, special occasion dinners, older individuals in groups and solo. The vibes were immaculate.

    The Branch Line has a small food menu and a huge drinks menu. The food that they do is very good. We had the Piri Chicken, which is their specialty. It has one of the best outside spaces in the area. However, if only a few drunk people are loud, the whole space is loud.

    The renovated space is more interesting than the food, which is perfectly good but not unusual. Since chicken is the focus, it should have been the best chicken ever. The service was pleasant but more attentive than effective, with a mix-up in one of our orders. I would return, but with less expectations.

    We went to Branch Line for brunch and started with the orange mimosas. Super tart and lacking flavor, in our opinion. We ordered the snap pea and roasted pear salads for starters. Both were excellent, balancing flavor and textural elements beautifully. The three of us ordered the rotisserie pork sandwich, crab cake salad and Belgian waffle. The sandwich was the most consistent of the three. The person who ordered the crab cake thought there was too much filler (certainly couldn’t see much lump crabmeat). The Belgian waffle was dense and dry and topped with over-sweetened and over-whipped cream and a few strawberries. Of the three, the waffle was easily the one that should have been the easiest to put together, but had the most issues. The cream was almost at the point of separation and had pockets of unincorporated confectioners sugar in it. On the bright side, minor tweaks could make this dish noteworthy again. Service was consistently attentive - no quibbles there!

    We've been many times before. We love Branchline. We understand that the situation was a little unusual this past Monday and that the staff was overwhelmed. But my parents were in from out of town. They're both in their late 70's and hard of hearing. The restaurant was unusually loud. my dad kept adjusting his hearing aids. We ordered 2 of the same appetizers from the special menu. only one came out. by the time we could ask the waiter about the second one, the kitchen had run out. That was disappointing. We had to wait a long time for our food. But the staff was gracious and did what they could. They were working really well as a team. It seemed like the restaurant was caught off guard by the positive response to the pop up. But my parents enjoyed the meal. The food was excellent as always. They want to come again, earlier when it's quieter. Please let the staff know t ha t we appreciate how hard they worked on Monday to make the experience as pleasant as possible.

    Amazing food and atmosphere. We were there on Monday night and they had a Japanese fusion pop-up menu that was delicious. We preserved several entrees from the popup. It was a bit hard to find with the construction in the area but parking in the garage was easy and it was worth the extra effort.

    We drove in from Western Mass for dinner. I had read the menus online prior and was anticipating the rotisserie chicken, a favorite of mine. We arrived early and were warmly welcomed by the hostess. She took our drink order and we stood in a cozy corner while enjoying our well-balanced and delightful cocktails. The hostess returned to give us a table while we waited for our bar seats we requested. She was personable and friendly and kept an eye on us. At the bar we ordered an appetizer each- a pretzel and the snap pea salad. The pretzel was sized just right but was a little hard on the edges for a soft pretzel. The snap pea salad was crunchy and sweet and salty and a very generous serving. We ordered our meal, a rotisserie half chicken with potatoes for me and the piri piri half chicken for my husband. Delicious both! A definite return.

    I was expecting a lot from Branchline and they delivered. It has been recommended to me multiple times and now I know why. The staff was genuinely inviting, helpful, attentive and made excellent suggestions for drink choices. The food was fantastic and of course the chicken was to die for.     We have eaten here a number of times. The food and service were good as we sat at the bar. Sitting inside can be loud and a little overcrowded at peak times. The best value of this place is sitting outside on a warm night. The next time I come, will be to sit outside when the weather cooperates. The restaurant is price competitive for a relatively high end restaurant, but all restaurants seem to be getting more and more expensive.

    The service was friendly and quick. However, the portion sizes were too big (waaaaaay too much food for one person), and my food was sloppily made. I ordered a sandwich and the whole thing fell apart. It was overstuffed and poorly constructed. I had added on avocado and bacon to my sandwich and the sandwich ending up being 85% avocado and bacon and 15% every other ingredient (basically ate an avocado and bacon sandwich). The avocado was not sliced or mashed, it came as a whole half of an avocado on my sandwich, which made it extremely difficult to eat. I ended up having to use a fork and knife to cut and eat my sandwich because the whole thing was a lot/too much and too messy otherwise. They also barely gave us any ketchup, when all of my family and I’s meals came with potatoes. I understand not everyone eats potatoes with ketchup, but my family does and we got next to no ketchup. An actual ketchup bottle at the table would be nice, even if it doesn’t match the ‘aesthetic,’ it’s much more practical. I don’t have complaints about the service other than a small accident that occurred as our food was being brought to the table. Our waiter was bringing over my order and the plate brushed up against my shoulder as he was doing so. This knocked the bun off my sandwich and onto my jacket, then the floor. This wouldn’t have really bothered me, had it not landed on my jacket before reaching the floor. There was sauce on the bun and the sauce got all over my coat. The waiter was kind enough to try and wipe it off, but it left a stain. I understand these types of things happen, but this was disappointing, as a personal possession of mine was affected. I ordered from their brunch menu, so I cannot speak for their lunch or dinner selections (which might be better options/what they’re known for), but I would not recommend this place for brunch.

    We are regulars at Branch Line for many years. The food is great. The only thing to watch out for is they don’t always honor your reservation. Be prepared to wait for a table even if you arrive on time. Either their kitchen runs very slowly, or they assume people eat as if they are in a fast food chain, or they allow booking beyond their capacity. Something should change.

    Sticky ribs were amazing, burger and mac n cheese were simple but pretty good as well. A little on the pricier side for the quality/service/location, but acceptable. Service was a bit slow at the second half, when the place was getting crowded (around 7pm) but I'm going to blame not enough staffing. All in all, I'd go back.
