    Bien situé dans le Vieux-Montréal. Beau décor. Ambiance festive. Très bon service. Par contre, nourriture décevante pour le prix. Soupe froide. Plats ok mais rien d’exceptionnel.

    Everything was perfect. Food, service, value. Service was actually outstanding. The chef made a substitution of mushrooms instead of carrots that quenched the exact taste I was looking for that night and the service team were top notch. Thank you! Also the squash soup was a surprise for me. Never had that and it was delicious!

    Dinner this evening was exceptional. The wait staff was excellent greeting in French, but switching seamlessly to English for us. For dinner we started with the cheese board, which was made up of great range of Quebec cheeses. Blue cheese to Colby, delicious. For mains we had steak frites (cooked medium to perfection) and Duck Confit ( where the meat fell off the bone). Must be very popular as 3 people at the table beside us had it as well. The restaurant was excellent and we would go back again without question.

    The restaurant is very pretty, bathrooms are good as well. It has a nice ambiance, old and elegant. The menu is limited but we liked it. We had the lamb shank and mixed plate of desserts. Lovely. Service was excellent.

    Lobster was dry and overcooked. Parsnip soup was bland. Crème brûlée was excellent. No draft beers and oatmeal. Stout was overpriced. No lower price red wines Waitress was disinterested but polite.

    Depuis le début quand je suis entré jusqu'à mon départ, le personnel était très poli et a eu une grande hospitalité. Les cocktails et la nourriture étaient excellents, en particulier le bar et la ratatouille. Je recommanderais certainement cet endroit pour un bon dîner.

    Waiters were a mess-kept assigning different people to our table. Forgot our drinks until we reminded them. The risotto tasted like microwave bag rice. We picked it for location but we regret the choice when there are so many great options around.

    Bad services, the restaurant not even busy, everything take extra long , from getting the menus to the order, water was never refill. We were spent over $200 plus 15 % tips, really not worth it.

    Menu de montreal à table. Le canard et le boeuf étaient exquis. Le service était vraiment pas on point. Nous avons attendu prêt de 10-15min avant d'avoir de l'eau dans nos verres. La serveuse semblait débutante et n'a clairement pas reçu un bon training. Par contre, les plats étaient bien apprêté et c'était une bonne qualité prix.

    Great little brasserie with an absolutely friendly and accommodating staff. Service was great, with special thanks to Mathilde and Charles our Servers who always made us feel special as we were in town to celebrate our 34th wedding anniversary. Food was delicious especially the Shrimp and Avocado starter and the Lamb Shank main. Breakfast was more than we could eat but always great and set us up beautiful prior to heading out to explore the town.

    This is my top brunch spot in Montreal! Everything on the menu is amazing, the staff is very kind and attentive, and the interior is beautiful. Perfectly located near Old Port, and walking distance from the metro, Brasserie 701 is a must go restaurant!

    Un très bel endroit, un service impeccable, des plats copieux… mais malheureusement, pas de pain baguette au menu. C’est un détail peut-être pour certains mais d’une grande importance à mes yeux quand on se dit une brasserie française. Ceci fait en sorte que je ne recommanderais pas, dommage.

    It was a great experience and the prix fix menu was delicious. Our waitress, Victoria I believe (she had bright pink hair) was amazing!!! Highly recommend!

    Service was great. In my opinion, steak quality could be a bit better. Not the best steak, but not the worst. Salmon portion a bit small (Even ordered the large). Good restaurant overall.

    Nous étions 3. Les repas étaient bons mais pas excellent, un peu décevant pour un restaurant de cette réputation et classe. L'habillement des serveurs manque de classe, sans uniformité, en Jeans... LA qualité du service était en dessous de la moyenne, sans sourire.

    Le cocktail de ma conjointe, que j'ai goûté (brise d'été), nous a tous les deux "tombé sur le coeur". La nourriture était excellente mais notre serveur terminait son quart de travail juste avant la fin de notre repas et ça a été très long avant d'avoir notre facture.

    The restaurants design and atmosphere were very nice and cozy, but the food was really bad. I don’t know if it’s because the Montreal à Table menu or it’s the quality of food in there but we really were disappointed of the taste, quantity and quality of food.

    On est allés dans le cadre de mtl à table et on a été reçu de la qualité de la nourriture. Tout le personnel est très sympathique mais on s'attendait à une qualité supérieure pour la nourriture et un service plus haut de gamme. Nous n'y retournerons pas, déçus du rapport qualité prix.

    Nous avons testé la table d’hôte Montréal à table et c’était un vrai plaisir ! Très bon rapport qualité/prix. Pensez à réserver, il y a du monde (encore merci à notre serveuse qui, malgré le rush a eu un service impeccable et souriant) !

    The service was EXTREMELY slow. I would not blame the server since the problem seem to come from the ketchen. We sat at the table around 19hr and didn't get the main course before 21.30h .

    Nous avons prit le menu dégustation pour l’événement « Montréal à table » Côté nourriture: Les entrées étaient ordinaires, surtout la salade de laitue romaine avec des suprêmes d’oranges sanguine. Le plat principale était bon, mais la dorade manquait de goût. Le bœuf était par contre excellent. Les desserts étaient très bon. Côté service: Nous avions l’impression que notre serveuse n’était pas contente d’être là ou qu’elle avait passé une mauvaise journée. Mon verre d’eau n’a pas été remplis de la soirée. Lorsque mon amie enceinte à commandé une eau pétillante, elle l’a regarder d’un air hautain. Heureusement son shift terminait et on a pu changer de serveur à la moitié du repas. Je ne trouve pas que ma soirée vaut le 275$ de ma facture.
