    Nothing special really Food was average at best (lobster risotto was not great and barely warm, navette was alright and cooked to taste) Not a place we will go again to.

    Everything was very good. Tasteful food and great service. The place is upbeat and nice. The only downside is the tables setup, the table itself is very small, it barely fit all plates together, and the tables were very close to each other, a little bit uncomfortable, and hard to leave the table without bump in other people.

    We had to ask our server for everything at least 3 times, we had to continue remind him to refill our mimosas (and we paid for bottomless), we had to ask multiple times to order, he didn’t seem remorseful at all (he actually seemed quite out to the lunch), and it wasn’t even busy in there, waste of time and money.

    We’ve been several times at Brasserie 701. We find the ambiance and food are quite good. We thought the prices had gone up since we were there last time. But in general it’s a good quality restaurant and the valet parking makes it hassle free.

    I love this restaurant for the great food ,ambience and the attention to service from all the great staff A must for dinner, lunch, brunch or a great classic cocktail when you find yourself in Old Port Montreal.

    Ambiance was really nice, it’s a beautiful space! Food was good, nothing to rave about. Service however was really disappointing. The first waitress was dry and mean, and I guess she didn’t like us from our first interaction as she passed us along to one of her colleagues and kept giving us the stink eye. The other servers were polite and nice, but they forgot items, and seemed a but disorganized. All in all still recommend, especially doe the space and coffee. Hoping it was a one-off on the service.

    Every time we are in Montreal we go to this place because of how awesome it is. Food is one of the best in the world. Kim was an amazing waitress. Super kind and fun to talk to. 110% recommended.

    Went for Sunday afternoon brunch, food and ambiance was very good. Tried this place for the first time with my gf and friends. The boozy brunch was a hit. Our server was excellent. Overall, it was a great experience and we are definitely going back.

    Great ambience and service. Food was above average to excellent (the black cod was exceptional). Good cocktails and wine list. We went for dinner but the breakfast and lunch options also looked promising.
