   As a retired chef .. I do not recommend this Brasserie 701 for Sunday bunch .. they may be great at other times but they are horrible at brunch .. all 3 tables around me felt exactly the same way. My eggs Benny were barely lukewarm, the breakfast potatoes were almost cool to the touch. I asked for soft boiled, they were med hard. My English muffin was like cardboard and had obviously been sitting out for quite a while. My girlfriend ordered the breakfast poutine, her food was hot but the issue was she has a raw egg allergy so we asked for no hollandaise on her poutine and stated it was due to a raw egg allergy, they served her breakfast poutine with Hollandaise on it. . . We wanted to return and complain about both meals but the server didn’t return for another 1/2 an hour. Once he did return, we complained and said he’d get the manager, 22 minutes later he showed up, asked how we enjoyed our brunch and handed me the bill. We just paid and left .. not impressed with their brunch AT ALL!! Cold food, slow service, the two biggies of serving food. It was even stated in the reservation notes it was a special occasion as I asked my girlfriend to marry me the night before .. luckily we both know to not let it ruin our special day .. we left and went on to have a fantastic brunch a few doors down .. total waist of money .. ⭐️⭐️

   Out with our friends for a get together and birthday celebration. The staff is welcoming, the ambiance is chique and happening. Our waiter Fejon was outstanding and very attentive to our needs throughout the evening. We all enjoyed the ‘Happening Gourmand’ menu and enjoyed an overall wonderful experience.

   Amazing place! Made a reservation for brunch for a bachelorette party! And everything was amazing they seated us at a big round table by the windows! Food was delicious, and our server was awesome! Some items got missed, like a last second cappuccino, but overall Amazing atmosphere and food!

   Only thing I didn’t like was the dessert. It was supposed to be caramel-chocolate but they gave me mango-chocolate

   Food was very good & very accommodating to changes. No kale … etc Staff was great, helpful, engaging but not intrusive. Atmosphere is sleek but not intimidating or too much.

    I always choose brasserie 701 when it comes to my late Sunday brunch but my food was burnt (eggs and chicken) it took a while before i received my plate. I had maybe 2 glasses of my bottomless mimosas(more juice then prosseco) My experience yesterday was not super good

    The service was terrible. Very long wait for water service, to place our order, for our food. My poached eggs were as hard poached as you could get (didn't ask for hard poached) . They forgot half of what was supposed to be on my avocado toast. We asked the server for it, she said she would check and never returned.

    Our experience was mediocre overall. We ordered from the table d’hôte- the onion soup was too salty, the lamb shank was tough and not much meat. The salmon portion was small. We also found the place too noisy.

    Great food and vibe. Service was a bit slow and our server left halfway through our meal, leaving us unattended and waiting 40 minutes for dessert. No one came by to ask for drinks or anything.

    Loved brunch here!! Reserved a table for 8 and they accommodated us seamlessly. Had bottomless mimosas for brunch and everything was delicious. We’ll definitely go back!

    Me and my partner went there for brunch. This is my second time visiting the restaurant they have great food and drinks. $29 for bottomless mimosas for 1.5hrs. The servers are always walking around with pitchers of mimosas you do not need to look around and wave at them for more they take their jobs seriously and pour you a glass as soon as you are done with one. That’s what i pay for. Makes my experience totally worth it Also for the amount of money that was spent.

    The food was masterfully cooked just as the last time I was there. Every potato was crispy and seasoned, the waffles were delicious, the chicken was crispy, jucy and tasty. The drinks were delicious. And the waiter was nice. Can't wait to return!

    Very disappointing. We arrived at 7:00 p.m. on Valentines Day starving and ready to eat. Cocktails were good but we had to wait 15 minutes for the first course - two tiny cooked oysters with cheese. Then we had to wait 40 minutes for the second course - foie gras on plain, boring white bread. By this point, the evening was ruined as the food had taken too long, despite asking several times where it was. Finally, the main course came 20 minutes later, which was very average - filet mignon covered in mediocre tasting sauce. Dessert was tasteless and boring. Five star price, one star value. We went home and had carbonara leftovers, which was far better than anything served to us at this restaurant. Never again.

    We had a lovely dinner to celebrate my husband’s 70th. The meal including 2 glasses of champagne and a bottle of wine was far from expensive and the maître de did not charge for my husband’s dessert

    J'ai pris le plat "2 oeufs", un vrai régal. La portion est très généreuse, j'adore! Notre serveur, Arnaud,en plus de faire du bon service et d'être charmant, nous a offert un cours de cocktail pour le brunch. Ce fut très apprécié! Je recommande fortement pour les brunch dans une belle ambiance.

    When we arrived we got told fast that we were on a timer since there was another group after. Made us feel rushed. Food was cold asked for a change and it came out cold again. Didnt eat the whole food and got looked at and talked about by the servers. Overall very poor experience. Wouldnt recommend.
