Truly amazing! The food was outstanding! Oysters & shrimp cocktail to start which were both perfection. Moved on to fillet with peppercorn and the duck breast…both were cooked expertly and paired with the most delectable accompaniments. Finished with dessert wines and butterscotch crème brûlée. Divine. Mustafah, our server, was wonderfully attentive but not overbearing. Delightful. GO is my advice. You won’t regret it.

Superb meal! Every bits was delicate and tasteful. Scrumptious even. Service was fantastic. Not too fast, but everyone was attentive. It was a busy Tuesday evening and the high ceilings seemed to magnify the noise.

Kader was wonderful throughout and kindly found the perfect wine pairing from the bartender for my meal (Bouchard Chardonnay with the scallops). The herbed garlic butter with bread was a flavorful start. My mom and I both had the scallops and they were amazing! On top of the crisp pave potato and wilted watercress with capers in a brown butter sauce. Could be a great vegetarian dish sans scallops. Dessert was just as excellent the caramel crème brûlée and beignets.

Food was very good. Service was ok. Our server appeared irritated most of the time and didn’t seem present until halfway through our meal. When I spend more than $200 on a meal I expect to not be treated like an after thought.

While the food was good, there was a couple at the bar that FaceTimed during our entire dinner and the acoustics are not great so we heard the entire conversation for 1+ hour. Very disruptive and made for a poor experience. Not sure why the restaurant employees allowed for that convo. The bone marrow and short rib were amazing. We also got a seafood dish that had a variety of seafood (oysters, shrimp, lobster, crab) and we did not enjoy the lobster or crab. Would not recommend that dish.

Best fine dining in Bar Harbor!! Somethings uneven but still worth coming back to over and over. The Burrata with heirloom tomatoes had too many tomatoes. And it was described as watercress and Burrata and tomatoes. This was incorrect. There were two sprigs of watercress. I ordered it because I wanted a watercress salad with Burrata and tomatoes. It was perfectly delicious anyway! But it wasn’t what I ordered. The scallops were beyond perfection, but the lardon accompaniment was over cooked - hard And stringy. It would have been nice to have 4 scallops just to make it more filling! Three is Very stingy even as I realize it is the norm. The potato chip on the mashed potatoes was fun And unique. Onion soup was divine. Maybe a bit less bread would have been good, but it was really superb! My husband loved the filet but felt there were too many potatoes. Serving it with a vegetable Would have been nice. Chocolate vacherin had too much raspberry sauce on it. And the rhubarb cheesecake was just odd as nothing tasted like cheesecake! Both were delicious though. We are coming back again in a few days to try more dishes, but this is an excellent restaurant!!
