Assiettes petites, fish and chip décevant...

Merci.

The food is excellent . We came in with the announcement that we had to be out in two hours, it was 5h 15.
The service was rushed when we came in, we had to decide right away what we wanted to eat, coming from the métro, we were very hot, not ready to relax.
We ordered 4 lower price wines that were not available.
That was disappointing.
Coffee and one dessert to share that never came and was billed?
The dessert price was deducted, but It left us with less enthusiasm.

On y retourne ? Oui, toujours !

As a constant client to Brasserie T, I was very upset yesterday when I saw the Sommelier eyeballing our waiter for having poured us nice glasses of Prosecco for OUR BIRTHDAY!!!! In turn, the bottle was almost empty...but the Sommelier was very unprofessional to advise Etienne (wonderful waiter) of his miss-pour. There is a time and place for everything and that was not the time to tell a colleague of his so-called mistake....lack in judgement. Does he not realize that we had already ordered two seperate glasses with our meal including a prosecco to celebrate our birthday with a desert. Not only that, then we see another waiter (clean headed shaven man) also speak to him. What is wrong with these people? It is bad enough some of your waiters/waitresses lack personality nor can they understand speak the english language properly, but to discipline a co-worker on the floor during a busy time of year, unacceptable and degrading. I apologized to Etienne for his coworkers lack of professionalism and wanted to speak to him on the spot, but he was the consummate professional and said "not to worry, was just a remark". You should have more employees with his elegance and grace - and his two lady clients appreciated him more than he knows. As far as the food was concerned, was good but the beef tartare looked like it was thrown in the dish and not nicely set up as usual. Whoever your management is that allows colleagues berate colleagues in public for what he thought was an over pour, should not think of how much prosecco was poured but how much money you would lose if more of your clients do not return due to his unprofessionalism. We gave Etienne a 20% pourboire for being a complete gentlemen - not only to us but his colleagues - he's a definite keeper. Your Sommerlier should learn a lesson from Etienne about proper waiter etiquette and discretion.....

Bonjour,

I went to this restaurant four years ago and loved it. It was worthy of the Toqué connection but this time it was very poor in terms of food quality, presentation, and taste.

Our first time visiting Montreal and the Brasserie T. Having the outdoor music concert going on while dining was an added bonus. We were sitting outside enjoying our dinner while listening to the music. Great people watching too. The food and service were excellent!

Loved this place. We sat on the terrasse under umbrellas, with the music of the fountains as background. The 3 of us had lunch: sausage and quinoa; a large green salad and I had the shrimp guidille. All delicious. Only little quibble, I would have liked them to offer half-salad and half-fries with my guidille. Everything was super relaxing and pleasant, and the servers were lively too.

I'd been here several times before and was the one who made the reservation, thinking my friends would enjoy it. We had a HORRIBLE experience!! The meal was totally overpriced. The drinks tasted like they had no alcohol in them. The food was below average. I asked for half salad and half fries, which most restos accommodate, but here I had to order fries for $8! But the pièce de résistance was when the waitress brought us the bill, an hour and a half into our meal and a minute later the bus girl removed the water glass from my friend's hand. Talk about rude service and being rushed out. The wait staff and manager insisted they had told us we would have to leave after 2 hours. NO ONE advised us!!! And even if they had, why bring the bill a half hour before?? To boot, half the tables were empty and I now understand why. I will never set foot in this resto again!! The food was below par, overpriced and the service entirely rude. The manager kept saying we'd been advised - basically calling us liars and invites us to post our review so here you have it!!
