Brewsters Brewing Company & Restaurant - Oliver Square
We believe that every beer should share a story and every story should share a beer. When it comes to Brewsters – our beer is our story, and our restaurants are the stage. For over 25 years, we’ve been refining the art of beer in Western Canada. And we’re just getting started.

Knowing there were going to be lots of people out on Halloween, I made a reservation. That didnt help! After an email confirmed my reservation, we arrived a bit early. Didnt help. We were seated half hour AFTER Zour reservation time. Others who arrived after us were seated. So I'm wondering what the reservation was for.
They have good protective measures in the restaurant - partitions between booths and tables. If all patrons would adhere to the bylaw and wear a mask while walking to the washroom or leaving, all would be fine.
Brewsters menu needs an overhaul, and maybe that's coming for winter. They insist on drizzling a lot of appies with sirachi mayo or plain sirachi sauce. I get tired asking them to leave it off. It should be an add-on imo. My friend enjoyed the taste of the mac and cheese meatloaf, but it did not look appetizing - flabby bacon and fake looking grill marks! My fish tacos were OK, nice hunk of fish in them, but again....siracha. I like some of the happy hour specials, like tater tots! Haven't had those in decades, but had to ask if they had siracha and, guess what? They did.
Servers are great at Brewsters and we tip our hats (if we wore them) to them.
Birthday celebration Jet was attentive and offered a free drink
Food was great as was the service. Little confusing at first until you see lines on ground directing traffic into location. Service was friendly, conversational and quick. Was very busy but still had time to talk and answer questions. Very impressed.
Very good, had been a while since I had been to Brewsters and glad to try it again
Didn’t have our reservation down but luckily got a table! Very good food and service otherwise though!
made reservations the day before, conf. came back saying everything is booked, arrived there to find out that it was closed. This is a meeting place for a lot of us and I did not like having to stand out side of the gates till everyone arrived to tell them it's closed. You would think that at times like this you would want to keep loyal customers, but in this case you didn't. Not sure when or if we will return there.
It’s the Mac and meatloaf :). Thank goodness that remains on the menu all these years later. Reasonable menu selection, reasonable prices, good selection of regular and rotating beers, really good service in a nice open space that feels safe. An old favourite that keeps me coming back year after year.
Did not appreciate patrons walking around without masks in site of serving staff.
our server, Kayla, was wonderful. She was attentive and cheery, in spite of mask requirements. Our food was fantastic (the bacon mac and cheese is to die for) and the wings are some of the best in town. Overall, excellent night out.
We went here to watch the oilers game. I asked for a table near a TV so we could have wings and watch the game. They sat us upstairs near a small tv, and had music playing during the game upstairs and the oiler game downstairs. All the sound was muffled. Will never go back!
Great service and quick seating with a reservation.
We enjoyed being back at Brewter's 116 st location. It is our favourite location. Food was great, prices were good, people were friendly. With Covid, it sure was nice to get back again. Beer special draft was a Mexican Beer. It was very tasty! Thanks for great service! Our waitress was very efficient, courteous, and clean. thanks, again!
I had been a regular customer for many years, until I moved away from Edmonton. This was my first time back in about 6 months, they did not disappoint , same great place, same great people.
Great service, clean and good location. Their beer is my favourite, but it’s not cheap! It’s definitely worth the splurge though. I love how you can buy their bottled beer at locations too. Never disappointed with their food either.
The food quality was exceptional.
The beef dip was great and the meatloaf was excellent.
Fast service and fresh beer.
Good work Brewster.
We had the max number of people, 6 at our banquette table. It was comfortable enough and there was enough space for the beer and wings. We found it a bit too noisy for good conversation, but it wasn't as bad as some. Great service with a playful server. Good time.
Great food, server treated us well. Too bad they don't have a local brewer at this time, but the craft beer selection was still amazing. Will certainly revisit.
Our server was very prompt and yet patient with us as we visited. Refilled and checked on us at good intervals.
Food was very good.
We went for dinner with out of town family. it was so nice to not have to shout over loud music or loud people. We did wait a very long time for our meals. Considering how few people that were there, it was a bit frustrating.
Always solid food and great beer! Service was great too!
Super Bowl was enjoyable due to low noise levels. Seating to view tv was excellent. Drink specials were nice, and food quality was very good.
New Years eve
We reserved our table and pre-ordered our food for lunch. We received prompt service to our table and the food came out within 5 minutes hot and fresh. Portions were very large, very good value for money. Would go back again.
Great service and excellent food
Overpriced for what you get.
It is the first place I have seen a 5oz wine and 8oz wine vs. 6 & 9...I was told it was due to the min wage increase. Pizza should be called flatbread pita cracker. It is not a pizza.
Had chicken fingers. Pretty easy dish. Fries were cold. Chicken was over cooked. Not happy but was in a rush to get to a concert. Leary of returning food to the kitchen.
Just wanted to add...I had made a lunch reservation for 11:45 on a Friday. I was a little disappointed when we arrived that we were told that they did not reserve a table as it did not look like it was going to be very busy. By the time we were seated it actually was getting fairly busy. It would have been nice to have a booth as we wanted, however we were put in a little table tucked in the corner by the window instead. Just a thought....when reservations are made should they not be honored, seems kind of silly to offer that service and then not have a reserved table when you arrive??
Was good visit with friends would do it again if I had to
Food was good, service a little slow but tolerable. Would like a few more healthier options.
Great beers and food. The service was awesome! They the PB stout, very smooth.
Great and creative food selection and wonderful service!
The main reason we chose Brewster's is that it is convenient for all of us and has a wide ranging menu. the food was good, prices are also average. Out waitress seemed to have a bit of an attitude initially, and not a pleasant one, but the service was acceptable, nothing outstanding. Yes we will probably go there again because of the convenience but I would only recommend it for that reason, and for lunch.
There was a group of 8, going to a hockey game. The food was great. Not much for portion size. The service was a bit slow even though the restaurant was 1/2 empty
We stopped in for a quick working lunch. The service was fast and the food was excellent. We’ll definitely be back.
The food and drinks were great, but we had to wait over 20 minutes to be seated despite having made a reservation. It was wing night, and the place was packed. I think Brewster’s would benefit from maybe not accepting reservations on Tuesdays? The hostess mentioned that this is a recurring problem on Tuesday evenings.
Friends lunch. Extensive menus with something for everyone. a bit loud when busy and I could live without the ubiquitous sports on TV
Coworker lunch. Quick service. Conversation was a little difficult, but overall we were satisfied.
Food was great, service was wonderful.
only downside was the DJ had the music way to loud to have a conversation with the person sitting next to you never mind across the table.
The waitress Leanne was super accommodating and knowledgeable. It is good for big groups. I really liked my French onion soup and South Beach salad and I think all my friends liked their food too. Brewster has their own beer, I did not drink this time, but I know and like most of their beers. Also the Bavarian pretzel is really good. My only complaint about this location: it was very, very cold. Better isolation or heating is needed.
