We celebrated a special anniversary and appreciated the thoughtful greeting and seating. Our waiter, Samir, was fabulous! Excellent recommendations for food & wine, perfect timing - a true professional. We had zucchini flowers, rack of lamb, the ricotta pillows & the truffle fries. We were glad Samir suggested the fries - they are amazing!

The food was amazing! The pasta was fresh and very flavorful. The pork shank was so tender and fall off the bone. The portions were not huge but there was plenty. We did not leave hungry. The service started out a little slow but got better once our server came to our table.

The food was excellent, we had a terrific bottle of wine, there was a great atmosphere and it just felt exactly how we wanted it to. The best part of the night was Patty, who has worked in the hospitality industry in the North End for 52 years!

I cannot speak to the meat/seafood here but the pasta is amazing and the salads will leave your tastebuds tingling. Unfortunately that's as far as it goes. The portions are quite small but come with a big price tag, the appetizer list is lacking, and the atmosphere is too loud. Personally, will not be visiting again as there is better Italian food in the North End.

It was a little too dark. My lobster pasta wasn’t very good, the lobster was way over cooked and the pasta was undercooked. Everyone else’s dishes seemed to be pretty good, besides the fact that the portions were rather small. I’ll have to try again, but only for a special occasion because it is pricey for the quality of the food.

After doing a "food tour" of the North End and having the guide recommend Bricco, my partner and I decided to try it for a late-night dinner. The place is enjoyed by many, as the restaurant was very crowded and lively at 10 PM on a Sunday - fantastic! The service was excellent, and the drink (Cosmo) was the best of these I have had; our wait staff, a kind young woman, was terrific, but the food was mixed - my partner had a wonderful dish, but my pasta was climbed together, undercooked, and chewy in a way that it sticks to your teeth - yuck! I did not want a replacement and paid for it anyway, but I made my complaint; the waitress made an incredible gesture to manage the disappointment. I suppose we all have off nights, but I wouldn't say I liked the food at Bricco.

We had dinner with clients after two days of meetings at a Conference. We were a party of five (3 men, 2 women) and were seated upstairs at a quiet and delightful table. The atmosphere was perfect. We had a cocktail, then delicious appetizers and a fabulous meal, wine, dessert and after dinner liquors. The service was terrific friendly and not rushed. We will definitely come back when we are next in Boston.

If I had to describe this restaurant in one word I was say AMAZING!!! The food was great! Everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed their dishes. Our server was so nice and helped us pick out two Italian wines that were great. Overall one of the best restaurants we dined at in Boston.

Our table was a bit cramped and the service was somewhat slow, but the food was good. I'm just not sure the whole meal was worth the price. Definitely good food, just a bit pricey alongside all of the other factors. If you are a steak person, though, it is probably a great place to try out.
