Absolutely wonderful. All the staff were so nice. We had the focaccia bread, 3 leafy green salad, mom’s lasagna, chicken parmigianio, and mom’s tiramisu. I had a cappuccino too. ALL fantastic we were well cared for and tables around us all seemed very happy. You have to go!

This place is a gem that we found by accident after other plans fell through. The food was absolutely yummy and the portions were just right for sharing. My husband and I started with the tricolor salad, which was very fresh and light. We then had the eggplant rolatini - the whole dish was so lovely and delicious. As our main course, we shared the lasagna. The sauces on both the eggplant and the lasagna were great. All in all, we enjoyed our meal very much and the service was very good.

The staff were very attentive, kind and helpful. The food was authentically delicious! The place is sort of small, but the menu options and quality of food are worth it! Definitely have to go back to be wined and dined again!

We had a very simple dinner which was fine but not memorable. I requested no croutons on my salad and it came with croutons. The server offered to fix it but I turned him down because we were in a hurry. The only real issue is the outdoor chairs we were sitting in were really uncomfortable.

Had a 7:15 reservation, we’re settled outdoors by choice with outdoor heaters. The owner was very welcoming and friendly & so was the staff. We will definitely go back the next time we will visit Calistoga.

Our party of 6 had the upstairs private room, with our own bathroom! Probably the best spot for our group of Italians and east coasters. Everyone enjoyed their meals, service was great. Will definitely be back next time we are in Calistoga!

I wish I could give this a positive review but wow this place is a dump. I have never seen a more filthy bathroom in a restaurant in the Valley (or almost anywhere). For a "new" restaurant I have a hard time understanding the paint peeling off the walls. The food is average and nothing to write home about. Hardly authentic Italian. It's fine but only for a Monday night takeout meal and absolutely NOT a date night. Tourists fair warning--this is a pretty sub-par display of what the Valley provides. Save your meal for some place worthy. Staff was very friendly and the shining part of this place. If it can be cleaned up and the restroom overhauled, I would consider going back. Sad because I had higher hopes for a newly opened Italian spot in Calistoga. Looks, tastes and feels almost like the owner of a struggling 2-3 star spot decided to change the name and cuisine type to attempt reinventing so as to salvage their dilapidated dining spot. Feels harsh but when the prices reflect the best of what the Valley has to offer, yet it delivers such a sub-standard experience, honesty is appropriate.

Food and service were wonderful and very attentive. We were there on a busy night so the kitchen was a bit backed up but our server and FOH Manager kept checking in and making sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely eat here again.

New-ish restaurant in Calistoga. Maybe service was fair because we were there for a busy holiday weekend. Drinks came out very slowly. Food was so-so. We debated over dessert, but time it took to get dinner plates bussed and a server back to our table, we decided against waiting another 30+ min. We were surprised they do not serve decaf coffee. We will not hurry back, but hopeful that it will fine tune food and service.

If you decide to have dinner at Bricco Osteria, do not expect to enjoy a true Italian dinner; food is "okay" and it is certainly not true Italian. It is their best attempt to present it as traditionally Italian restaurant, but despite their best intent, they come short of that. I was looking forward to the lamb shank, many review spoke very highly of that dish, but I found it very plain and the risotto that came with it lack in cheese. The shank was quite large, got to give that to them and it was tender, just did not have that "wow" effect I was looking for. We requested an outdoor seating and instead they set up a table on the sidewalk under a canopy and I had to look at a close store entry door the entire evening. The service was nice and very friendly, best part of the dinner. The table settings were not satisfactory, my shank did not come with a steak knife and even my wife's chicken Françoise was hard to cut with their regular knife. Although in fairness, my wife really enjoyed the chicken. We ordered the Impepata steamed claims and mussels, which was served with a garlic bread and a good amount of broth, but no spoon was provided and we had to use the butter plates to eat that appetizer. Not what we were looking for

Food was good enough, but wasn’t served as ordered. I asked for different sauce on pasta that comes w chicken parm. Sauce was under my parm and different sauce on pasta. My husband had lasagna that also had different sauce than on menu. Wait staff new, still figuring it out? Never checked on us.

Ambiance was like we were in a bistro in Florence. The Carpaccio was terrific. My lamb shank with saffron risotto was one of the best dishes I’ve ever had. My wife’s veal saltimbocca was tasty but overcooked. All in all a wonderful experience- we will be back.
