We waited almost 2 hours for our dinner to come out, we were more than understanding as they had a Christmas party going on and we were just enjoying our evening. My husbands filet was gristly, mine was very good though. But was very disappointing for a Tuesday night, and limited time away from our kids. The manager did make it right for us though, overall we will still go back. Our waiter Nick was amazing and very attentitive.

We were seated promptly in the area we requested. Service was timely but not rushed. The music was great. The food was outstanding. Parsnip puree was unbelievably good with the scallops.

The staff who greeted us mentioned my husband’s birthday and the service was perfect…relaxed and attentive. All 4 of us enjoyed the starter, our meals and the desert. It was the nicest evening I’ve spent in a long time!

Excellent dinner to celebrate my wife's birthday. The staff wished her a happy birthday as soon as we checked in for our reservation. Food, service, ambiance were all excellent. We had the small seafood tower (more like an elevated seafood boil with shellfish, snow crab, sausage, potato), split the fall salad, and split the cut for 2; we ultimately brought home plenty of leftovers. Will be back as soon as we can!

Hannah was our server, she had the best recommendations for my husband and I. Our first visit and it was absolutely wonderful. From the cocktails, (Donna Summer and the smoked Old Fashioned) to the baked sourdough bread, to the Fete appetizer, the main Filet with garlic onion sauce, mushrooms and the best bacon Brussel sprouts ever. This was the ultimate Birthday Celebration! I was greeted by a nice Birthday card signed by the staff. Our server Hannah was very welcoming, pleasant and accommodating. We looked up Kalamazoo’s top ten restaurants and they did not disappoint. The food and cocktails? Sensational. I don’t think many noticed, but the playlist was superb - a nice soulful 70s/80s mash up. The manager, Roger, checked in on us several throughout our dining experience. The platting for my desert was gorgeous. Brick + Brine has earned two new fans. My boyfriend and I fell in love with this place. We’ll definitely be back! 10/10 recommendation

The server could not get my card to work, he said that happens often. My card was fine, I called the company. This was a corporate event and not being able to use my corporate card was very frustrating. Cause embarrassment as well. Not good for a high end restaurant.

We went for the first time tonight for a birthday and they made us feel special from the moment we walked in. It was easily the best filet I’ve ever eaten. Food and drinks were all delicious. Only thing keeping us from coming back weekly would be the prices but it is great for a special occasion!

Very nice restaurant in downtown Kalamazoo! Food, drinks, and desserts were all excellent. Very nice background live music that wasn’t too loud and you didn’t have to talk over. Service was top notch!

I had pretty high expectations walking into this restaurant and I was absolutely blown away. The lighting was perfect, our server was so patient and had the most helpful suggestions for each of us. The service was respectful and fast, each dish was very well thought out!
