Loud, awkward, uncomfortable, better if you’re looking to get a little sideways with the boys!
Definitely a bar! Don’t book with family’s. Food would be better if more beer consumed.
Good food, good service. Menu could be a wee bit bigger but what they have is tasty:)
Food was excellent - would recommend the brunch at this edtablishment forsure.
Stayed in whistler for a couple of days and we went to the Brickworks for the first time. The ambiance was up beat even during these trying times, our server was polite and attentive,we ordered our drinks and food from the very limited menu and being English’s ordered the fish&chips Very disappointing ice cold fries and blended peas ( so called mushy peas)
Good atmosphere, food and an excellent gin selection.
Brusque host.
Lovely server.
Fantastic gin menu.
Limited but satisfying food menu.
Staf was so great and friendly. Good outstanding. Great to enjoy time with friends
It was a great surprise! Although the plates we were looking for were not available due the Covid-19, the plates we had were just amazing! So delicious that we fall in love with the place and we are definitely coming back to try the other options!
The waitress was really nice and mindful! Great night, amazing food, cool place!
All food and drink was amazing. However service was incredibly slow. Drinks took 15 minutes to reach the table, and food well over an hour. Restaurant was busy however managers and our server were seen standing around chatting with other staff and friends.
Love the vibe, staff are friendly and attentive. The booking was for about an hour and a half but we were hoping to stay longer... Kylie our server was able to organise us a new spot at the bar to keep us going :) always recommend! Felt safe and distanced from other tables.
First time visiting, drinks were great, our server gave us some really good gin cocktail suggestions. Food was good but a bit on the cold side as its bussed from a separate kitchen. Staff did a really good job sanitizing everything as per health bc standards.
Took almost 20 min to get our bill. Super slow. I think the server went onto a break. I will say, he was nice though. Hamburgers and Poutines were great.
Not a great place, but they're on OpenTable so no waiting in line which is nice. Service is quite friendly and welcoming. Food and cocktails are the letdown here. If you go, dip into their great selection of local craft beer and grab some snacks for the table as you watch the game. Fish and chips was alright. The place could use a big revamp on the food side with really just burgers and poutine on offer. For cocktails, in my view it should be done right or not at all. I think they should cut that program entirely.
Had the soft crabshell and chips and veg tartare. Food was barely warm and crab tasted fishy. Ate only small portion of my meal. My husband had burger which he said was good. My son had a poutine which was lukewarm at best. Martinis were very good with a large selection of gin. More of a place for alcoholic beverages. Would not recommend if you are out for a meal.
The poutine was delicious but I had been looking forward to the Pre Covid menu so was disappointed. Nobody’s fault. The service was excellent.
I realize that covid-19 is going on at the moment but I was not expecting a menu with so little to choose from. Burgers, fish and chips and salads.
If this all you are looking for, then this place might satisfy you.
Service and billing was slow. Food below average.
Very limited menu- only burgers and fish and chips. If that’s what you are looking for, it’s a good choice.
Nice casual place to grab a bite with friends. The cocktails were excellent.
The food wasnt the greatest and menu was limited which we understand was due to COVID
Don’t eat here. Got a salad with chicken. It was cold chicken with with bones and cartilage still intact. Server thought it was a brilliant idea to polish cutlery right next to our table. Very rude and no regard for professional service. Had to wait 10 minutes for our order to be taken.
Did not have food, but did not want to mark as poor; also did not want to mark ambiance lower due to the covid requirements; but they did a great job of greeting, sanitizing and keeping groups distanced by having less tables and dividers between booths. Good drink choices and friendly service always!
Busy venue away from village centre. Food ok but pricey and confusing discount offers. Beer good. Atmosphere good. Server could have been a bit friendlier - he seemed to have had a hard day.
Way too loud for our taste. Louder than I have ever heard in a joint like this.
Great place to grab a beer and some interesting bites. Lots of games on in the background, small place so book a table during high traffic times. Try the duck putine!
There is a gap between the level of service and food quality. Importantly, the food was good, once it arrived over an hour after it was ordered (there was no expectation of fast food, just attentiveness). This place is not big so there is no reason for the kitchen to be this slow (and serve some food cold) and the wait staff to be ignorant of the issue. Now, to finish on a positive note (and to dispel the worry of the cold food comment). The quality and flavour of 90% of the food was really great. The pork loin, risotto, bison burger were all enjoyed!
We went here because a clerk at the Crystal had recommended it, and it was one of very few places with open spots by the time we were ready to book dinner. It is basically a bar that also serves food, some dishes better than others. Seating was relatively uncomfortable, with our chairs being repeatedly jostled and our belongings getting wet from what seemed to be a leaky window. Service was friendly, and though some dishes skimped on the add-ons, the consensus was that the food was pretty good overall. Great selection of beer and drinks.
We visited on a Saturday night around 9p. It was loud and some of the patrons had been over-served. While that isn’t a big deal for us, they were quite loud and distracting.
The food isn’t worth the price and while our server was nice, he slow to take our order and was challenging to get his attention.
On the whole, it wasn’t a terrible meal but we wouldn’t go back. If you want a burger and a buzzing atmosphere, it’s fine. Otherwise, you might look elsewhere.
Some of the flavors in Whistler! And won’t break the bank
We are returning for a second time during our week stay! Thanks!
Great ambiance, the service was good. Like all Whistler restaurants, a bit on the pricey side for what's its worth. But overall, good.
Food was ok but generally not enjoyable. Probably a bit too salty and the chicken burger was dry and not a lot of actual chicken.
We were very pleased with our meal and it was wonderful to have our table waiting for us when we arrived.
Good vibe and great service. Gin cocktails were great!
So much fun! Fantastic food, kid friendly, excellent cocktails.
Food was very good, but it took an hour and 20 minutes to get it. This far too long for a gastropub.
First time at Brickhouse. Food was quite interesting with unique selections, but my spinach salad with prawns was disappointing when exactly two prawns were all that was added for the surcharge. The crispy fried chicken was surprisingly in a burger and there wasn’t much for our kids on the menu. The server was really great and ambiance very bar like but I probably wouldn’t go back.
After 90 mins the food arrived & the vegetables were stone cold.
Went for a Sunday late lunch. We tried a couple of appies and shared the wild boar burger. Food was quite tasty. They also serve Guinness off the tap, at the perfect temperature! Right next door to Delta, where we were staying, so very convenient.
Food was OK, but took 45 minutes on a quiet weeknight. It wasn’t worth that long a wait. Probably a decent place for drinks, but not for food.
