   Excellent food, service and experience! The entire staff went above and beyond. Keeping a surprise birthday dinner while the guest of honor (me) wanted to switch to a smaller table. They pivoted and handled things amazingly.

   Ordered almost as soon as we sat down. The first few dishes came relatively quickly but the pizza took another 40 mins to arrive. The wait time was much longer than anticipated. Seems under staffed because I didn't see our server for awhile even though we were warned that when we sat down. Overall, mediocre food, less than optimal service and long wait time in between dishes.

   4 of us dined here, 2 had the Halibut, one had duck and one had Rainbow Trout. Also had the fantastic garlic bread, hummus, and asparagus topped off with banana cream pie. Food was great, our service was top notch, served by Anna. No doubt, our favourite restaurant

   The food was very good and I love the decor/space/light and the fact that we didn't have to yell at each other to have a conversation. I found the service a little slow (too much time waiting for our order to be taken and then for drinks to arrive and then for our food order to be taken and for our food to arrive) but overall I would definitely recommend and am looking forward to going back myself.

   My first experience at Bridgette bar was so so great. Our server enhanced our experience, and was probably 90% of the reason we came back. The restaurant is so unique and chic. The food is also really good. My second experience at Bridgette bar was good, but not great. Our server actually took away from the experience. He was aloof, and totally disengaged. All of the regular service expectations were not met. It almost felt like he was above being a server. We don't go out for good service, but it definitely makes a huge difference in the overall experience. I am definitely not as eager to go back to Bridgette bar after this experience.

    We dine at Bridgette Bar regularly as it’s one of our favourite places in Calgary. Tonight our reservation was at 6:45 PM and we had the chance to be served by a newer waiter who had only ever served at Bridgette Bar. Unfortunately I can’t remember his name but he was EASILY the best server we’ve ever had at Bridgette Bar, or even in Calgary. Thank you for the pleasant time, we’ll definitely be back in the near future and hope we get the same waiter! The Asparagus and new Bridgetown Old Fashioned were great.

    Some food is great, but the large plates are not worth the price. Had the halibut and the kale was so salty is burned my tongue, fish was overcooked, and potatoes had not flavour to them.

    I’ve been here before and loved it the first time but this time wasn’t great. Service was terrible, we had to constantly ask for help since our server never came to the table. Food was mediocre and not worth the price. The duck was way undercooked. Not sure if id bother going back, waste of money. Beautiful inside but not worth it

    Delicious food! All 3 plates were good, shared a dessert! Wine, although, many good choices, is overpriced! $24/ for an 8 oz. Glass is outrageous. The bottle may be worth that to buy at a store. Most places offer 9 oz, not 8 for the big pour. Really?

    Great place to eat. We had some oysters, octopus, Brussels sprouts, trout and steak for 2 people and left stuffed. The food was unreal delicious. Waitress was fantastic. Only issue was the noise level. It wasn’t packed but where we sat was so loud it was tough to have a conversation. There are other tables that are quieter. Will go again and see if we can request a specific area to sit

    I love this place. I find a lot of people forget about how good this place really is. Service was excellent (as always) and the food was top notch. They have a great menu that fits all tastes and diets. Although I think they are known for their fresh pastas, they also have a great list of cocktails and drinks. Whether you are looking for lunch/dinner or just a place to chill for drinks, this is the place to go. For a surprise, I'd recommend getting the Steak and/or Chicken (Large) plates, which are amazing (considering many go for the fresh pasta) and super tender. Most things on the menu are share-able, so I'd recommend ordering a few plates to share, so you get to try a bit of everything. This is one of my go-to-spots for something classy, but not crazy expensive and great cocktails/drinks.

    This is for sure an upper end restaurant, and everything was very good from the service to all the food that we tried. Chicken dish was very big as we even had to take some home. Banana pie also very big and delicious more than enough for two people. Nothing but good things to say about this place. Also had Ricotta dumplings they were awesome.

    I had the a Peach Negroni, a glass of Pinot, beet salad, and the chicken and sausage. The food was good, just felt the chicken needed a bit more flavour. It was tender and juicy and the fries were delicious though. The Negroni was good, tasted like it should, not a lot of peach flavour came through, but the glass of wine was poured from the bottom of a bottle then topped up with a newly opened bottle. I could taste it so they did replace the glass and the gentleman used it as a coaching opportunity. The service was good, the staff were very nice, but they weren’t busy and I noticed the staff spent a lot of time chatting with each other and on their phones. I always sit at the bar and other than the required service, there was very little interaction with the staff that I didn’t initiate myself. As someone who worked in the service industry, I think it’s important to interact with your customers at the bar - unless they are busy with something.

    Having been to Bridgette Bar many many times as it’s my family’s favourite restaurant for celebrations, was very disappointed with the service on Mother’s Day. The restaurant wasn’t more than maybe 1/2 to 2/3 full when we were there. Upon being sat, it was a full 10 minutes before our server even came over to say hello & offer us water. We ordered coffees & food right away. 15 minutes later all of our food came at once, both cold starters & our hot main. Still no sign of our coffee. Would have liked a few minutes to unwind & enjoy our coffees before our food hit the table. Probably 10 minutes later after grabbing another server to ask where our coffees were they finally arrived. At that time, we requested that our duck be returned & resent to the table after we had a sip of our coffee & time to enjoy our cold sides. Duck was redone after we were finished our cold dishes & that was pretty much all we saw of our server until we were done. No refills on our water, cream for coffee or anything. Upon finishing our meal & declining dessert which we never pass on the banana pie, we just wanted our bill. Waited 15 minutes & finally again, had to call over another server to process payment of our brunch. Honestly, food was amazing as usual but that was seriously the worst service I have EVER had in my life. Super disappointed as it ruined my Mother’s Day brunch.
