   Had a lovely afternoon tea and great service! We couldn't finish it all. Nice quiet atmosphere for an intimate chill afternoon.

   I’m afraid to say I wouldn’t go back or recommend it to a friend. Menu was extremely limited with no choice of adding any basic sides. I think it’s fair to say Onion, Mushroom & Tomato go hand in hand with steak, but not here. We all ordered the steak with Watercrest (which was not included) We would have happily paid extra for sides but the restaurant simply didn’t have them. £400 for a meal for 6 that was surpassed by a trip to the Chiper later in the night for finger licking food for £36.    Meeting up for birthday meal with our son & his sister & partner. Empty soulless space. Staff were friendly - but we had to go & look for them on occasion & ask for plates to be cleared. They just obviously hadn’t been trained properly as they were friendly & helpful - when prompted. Good esp seafood dishes smelt a bit off. Cocktails & drinks were good. Soufflé was good - but most of the rest of the food was poor. No chilli oil/ given Tabasco instead. Didn’t want to send all back as we had travelled & wanted to enjoy the experience. But £450 for 5 people for a very poor dining experience is unacceptable. No wonder the place was empty.

   Visited for Mother’s Day lunch it was very quiet with only a few tables in use. We ordered from the menu created for Mother’s Day. Food was average and all the dishes came out warm despite not being busy. Fish was lacking sauce and the cheese soufflé had split and was disappointing. Paid a deposit that was not deducted from the bill only found out when back home. It was a underwhelming experience. Not sure I would go back.

   We had a really lovely time in your restaurant. The staff and atmosphere were fantastic and the food was amazing. Only let down was the wine, which at £24 a bottle was a bit of a let down.
