    Never ever again. Absolutely brazen head waiter, has retained unsolicited the change (9€) and that, although the prices are more than questionable and unjustified anyway. And then 7€ per place setting ("Gedeck"). Very bad experience. Once and NEVER AGAIN

    Excelent mushroom steak, the best I ve had. Beef and beetroot tartarts were nice, a bit nicer decoration was missing. -1* for the zuccinni flower, which was a bit too greasy, which was too dominant in this food and the taste of zuccinne was very poor. Absolutely perfect service! Nice recommedations, good wine paring and great atmosphere. Worth to come back again!

    This is a beautiful restaurant. the waiter was very attentive and explained the menu. Also made perfect recommendations for the appropriate wine. Food tasted great, but the portion sizes were a little small. Overall, a very enjoyable experience.

    Es war ein sehr gutes Gesamterlebnis. Besonders den Service möchte ich positiv hervorheben. Außergewöhnlich zuvorkommend und freundlich, nicht aufdringlich und trotzdem immer zur Stelle. Die Küche ist sehr gut und die Portionen (mehr als) ausreichend. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder hin gehen

    Leider hat es sich warum auch immer eingeschlichen, dass man zu einem Klassischen Tafelspitz fettige Rösti serviert, statt einfach normal Röstkartoffeln. Das ist wirklich sehr schade. Noch dazu wenn die zwei Röstitaler so dunkel frittiert wurden, dass sie auch als sehr fette Chips durchgehen würde. So etwas mindert das Essen gewaltig.

    This is one of my usual must-visits whenever I am in Vienna. Like always, it never fails to deliver the best food, ambience, and proximity to the opera for those who need to make the 7pm start times. My fav dishes on the menu are the tafelzspitz, the dover sole, bristiol salad, etc.

    This was our first night in Vienna, stayed at the beautiful historic Bristol and everything from the cuisine, doorman, butler Biel, reception, to waitstaff and Stevan the bar manager made our entire stay a 5 star experience. Danke schön to everyone!

    Gorgeous wood paneled room. Felt like I was stepping back in time to more elegant era. But menu very current with delicious vegan dishes! Wonderful, attentive staff. Loved the Bristol Lounge!

    We dined here whilst staying at the Hotel. We had attended the opera house next door so our meal time was very close to last orders, but we never felt rushed by the exemplary staff. We were a party of Vegans, vegetarians and Omnivores, who all had a fantastic selection of dishes to chose from on the menu. They were all delicious, washed down by the house wine recommended by the sommelier. A truly fabulous feast in beautiful surroundings, cared for by superb staff. A return visit that did not disappoint!

    The Bristol Lounge is an elegant place for special occasions. Great atmosphere, friendly service, high quality food prepared with care. Tafelspitz was delicious and so was the surprise birthady desert. Can't wait to come back.

    I've just found the invitation to review months later (not an active OpenTable user), but this is such a memorable place that I'm happy to say a few words of review. I ate here - and stayed here - my first and only visit to Vienna. I was treating myself, as this is an incredibly old-world elegant hotel, and restaurant. I had planned in advance to have my first authentic Wiener Schnitzel right here, in the heart of Vienna, opposite the Vienna Opera House and near many palaces & churches, etc. So... this restaurant is as good as :I've ever seen (and I travel a lot, but have yet to visit Vienna, long on my to-do list (with some ties there). OK, restaurant: Classic splendor suitable for royalty, and reflecting great history across years. Historic ambience,. And... incredible food, amazing, amazing service. Old-world elegance in every sense. Wiener Schnitzel was awesome (and I had very similar at nearby Sacher), served with a sachet with lemon, and a bit different than I've had in the U.S. I ate twice here, once trying some of their unique soup-based dishes, desserts, and coffees. (But if you're Vienna, you'll find wonderful coffee, as it's an institution). What else, if you're here just for dinner and don't know Vienna well (yet?), it's in the Central Ring near the opera, many dessert/pastry/coffee xhoppes, and short walk to St. Stephen's, the Stallions, all the tourist and historical wonders of Vienna. Not inexpensive, I should say... Elegant (I did say!) Delicious food, luscious ambience, unsurpassed service. Enjoy.
