Nestled in the heart of the Short North, Bristol Republic is a locally owned, Nashville inspired bar and restaurant serving up competition quality BBQ smoked in-house daily, ice cold craft beer, over 150 rare Bourbon and Whiskeys from well-known and independent distilleries across the country and live music (Friday & Saturday)!     Great pre- theater dinner. Food & drinks delicious. Brisket was way overpriced- $15 for 2 pieces on a plate. (Great flavor)

    Arrived at 4:58. Somehow they had no brisket tater tots even though the place was empty. Fries and champagne event was just average. One basket of fries. 5 samplers with a paper sheet describing them.

    The food and service was outstanding. We had a large group of almost 30 and the servers, especially Hannah, were wonderful. We ordered family style, two portions of the Giddy Up, and had plenty of meat for everyone, however the sizes of the side dishes were, in a word, skimpy. We didn’t even come close to having enough sides for 32-40 people. When we saw that there was not going to be enough we asked to order more Mac and cheese, but we were told they were out. The meat was amazing, though! Just need bigger side dishes.

    Great food. For the price, outstanding value. Would recommend as a fun Short North barbecue. Be aware, the portions are very generous. We had leftovers.

    I am a NC gal and I would put this up against any Southern barbecue and I would say it would win hands down. The best barbecue, brisket and ribs I have had here.

    The Bbq is excellent and for $1 you cant beat the hotdogs. Very nice place to eat and possibly catch a band. Wasn't super busy during out visit but it looks like a place that could get pretty crowded depending on the event.

    Only complaint would be how loud it was… couldn’t hear the person I was with talk! But it’s our own fault for going during an OSU game :)

    Went for brunch on Sunday. Didn't expect it to be a bar with food.....so ambiance lacking. But the food was surprisingly good. I was worried b/c there was not a basic egg option on the menu, but the southwest omelette was yummy!! and the brisket and eggs looked delish (my husband had this and loved it). We got the cinnamon rolls as well - pretty basic but fun side. Overall was a reasonably good brunch, just don't take your grandmother here - not really that vibe!!

    We got the ribs. A full rack so much food, but delicious and can’t wait for leftovers! The mac n’ cheese was very good also. Atmosphere was great!

    Appetizer (meatballs) for restaurant week was raw, I said this and shows the server and they barely acknowledged it. Did not even apologize or show any interest. While the server stopped by multiple times, they didn't even look at our table to SAY (not ask) "Everything ok-perfect!" The entree I got was not hot either (baked potato). And you guessed correctly, this place served raw beef and I was still charged for it. One of the worst dining experiences I've had in Columbus.

    Celebrating my birthday, the staff were more than attentive and helpful. Helped me move the table to accommodate for extra room. The prompt service and great food made for a wonderful evening. Enjoyed the music and bottle service of champagne after dinner!

    Meats were amazing quality and delicious. . All sauces were too sweet for me, and not enough hot sauces. I had no idea this is a country dance club that is a restaurant by day. Hence the very expensive drink prices. $6 Busch Light? Am I on a plane? Service was exceptional.

    The food was absolutely outstanding!! Meat was fall off the bone tender and the all of the bbq sauces were delicious!! Drinks were awesome and a great variety of whiskeys. Service was quick and fun! We will definitely be frequenting this restaurant!!

    Food was OK. It was a Fathers Day buffet. Biscuits were horrible. Burnt on the outside and not cooked on the inside. That could kill someone! BBQ was ok but we’ve had better.

    Great food! We had 6 people and basically ordered food for the table. We all got to try a bit of everything. Each person found a favorite. My fav was definitely the fried pickles, hush puppies, and brisket. The other meats were very good as well. The perfect balance of smoke that allows the meat to shine! Delicious. The wait staff was friendly and accommodating and efficient! We tried several drinks from the menu, my fav was the Dunn & Bacon(or something similar). We also tried the cooler drink. HILARIOUS! All atriums great time & great food. Highly recommend!
