   Not our best experience based on how much you spend here. Asked for Medium cooked steaks. All of them came out well done….no pink. They recooked my filet and it came out well done again. Asked for biscuits before dinner 3 different times before we saw one. I understand service these days is not as good as pre Covid but this was ridiculous coming from a high end establishment.

   Usual outstanding dinner at the Bristol. What made it special this time was the softshell crab that was first offered on Friday night. It was a delicious treat since it is available for only a short period of time. It was an ample serving of two crabs served over a base of mushrooms, scallion, capers, and fennel.

   Disappointed at being sat at the bar for celebration and reservation. Sam and crew serving were great, but lobster was overcooked and sampler plate including crab cakes were not as good as used to be.

   We had a wonderful dinner of swordfish with orzo rice and veggies and the mixed seafood grill with mashed potatoes with asparagus. And of course, you must have their delicious biscuits and butter that are the bomb! Our server was very good as well! We will definitely be back.

   Our table top was sticky but appeared clean. Our waiter and service were impeccable. Our food was very tasty but the steaks a little over cooked. We enjoyed the overall dining experience, however, a little pricey when all was said and done.

   We sat on the patio and it was lovely. Our waiter was really attentive and kind. He made our experience especially nice on Mothers Day. Thank you. The charred tuna is really good and the second time I’ve ordered it. The accompanying asparagus potato hash with a light Bernaise sauce was tasty too. The crab cakes were good but a little fishy tasting. The carrot cake was an enormous piece and we ate every delicious bite! I will be back for the tuna!

    Kalie our server was great and cheerful. The food was awesome and was impressed by the puréed mash potatoes that was very low sodium and I have to watch my sodium intake. Not a fan of the lack of parking and disabled parking. My aging parents and myself are disabled and the high curb is a problem when using the valet parking.

    We come to Bristol every year from Iowa for Mothers Day and every year the service gets worst. I order the the three course menu, the server didn’t ask for my sides at all. I had to call him back and re-order. I think he had to re-enter all of our food. It took about an hour to get our main course. Then he forgot our desserts and brought the check. He never asked if we wanted anything else to drink. We had to ask for our desserts and boxes for them since we had been there for over 2 hours with four kids. When he brought our check, it was completely wrong. He charged us for double meals and put on a additonal people , which was super weird. Not one time did a manager come over to check on it, our bill was over $400 and it was the worst service.

    The service, the ambience, and the food was terrible. The bartender ate her/his dinner at the bar in front of diners. There were maybe 8 customers in the entire restaurant, and it took FOREVER to get service. We were offered a warm biscuit before our entire party arrived. Server said I’ll be back when they are here so the biscuits are warm. Never showed up again. Then, the staff gathered to talk about and order their personal meals for the evening for about 20 minutes behind the bar while patrons waited for drinks and service. One of our meals was the halibut. We specifically asked “is the fish fresh and grilled but not breaded?” The server said “oh yes!” The halibut resembled a Gorton’s Fisherman frozen piece of breaded, hard, overcooked, cardboard fish smelling food. The shrimp scampi required a chainsaw to cut. Additionally, there was a sign that said, valet parking, however, the sign pushed up against the building, said no valet. So we sat there and waited for valet until we happen to noticed the NO VALET sign pushed against the building.  I would predict the place will be closed within nine months.  one last note, at one point the lights were shut off in the middle of the restaurant, and it was the middle of the day during normal business hours because there was no one there. It was weird. I would tell you to never enter this building.

    We ordered the Center cut filet mignon and the grilled Hawaiian salmon and it was some of, if not, the best food we’ve had. The steak was cooked perfectly and the glace on the salmon was amazing. The waiter was very helpful and we would definitely recommend this place and are hoping to come back again.

    Tables were sticky, as in there was a noticeable “pop” when lifting plates or glasses. Waited forever to get biscuits. Server was attentive and did a great job.

    Bristol used to be one of my favorite places. It seems to have become very average. My swordfish and my wife’s were both overcooked service was not good. My water glass did not get filled up the entire night. Speed of service was good. It wasn’t the a great overall experience I expect from Bristol.

    This came down to service. Our last visit was special, and we were made to feel that way. From the moment we came in, throughout the meal and dessert. It was fantastic. This restaurant was easily in our top 5 experiences. This visit was not that experience and didn't come close. This time our server checked for drinks and got one wrong, then took the meal order and left. We didn't see him at our table again until the meal was over and he asked about dessert. He appeared to have one other table which he stayed at the entire time we ate. No exaggeration, he stood at that table, served wine, talked, etc. for over 20 minutes. Other staff brought our food and cleaned up. There was no follow up to see if we would like another drink or another cocktail. After that it just felt as if this were another fast food joint. The table was sticky, the pasta bland and the shrimp and scallops super charred. All of that I think would have been ignored or fine if someone would have asked or cared to check up. A drink and a plate are not worth 150-some dollars. Coming to KC and the PL district is usually a special occasion for my wife and I. I really don't know that we'll visit again vs. just trying our luck at another place.

    Our food was great, but it used to be that the biscuits were softer and endless. The one I had tonight was hard and I was only offered one at the beginning of the meal. It's silly, but I always look forward to the biscuits and honey butter.

    Several steaks were not prepared as ordered. One individual had to wait about 8 minutes for their food while the rest of us had ours. Server didn’t smile once, seemed annoyed with us even though we didn’t feel we did anything to warrant it. There was no suggestions or recommendations about the menu. The flavors of the food were fine. The filet mignon really tasted like char and wasn’t buttery smooth. For a steak and seafood house, this was a subpar experience.

    Service was slow, but is understandably fair since the bartender had a full bar and seating area. Our server did not give us his name and did not card us when we asked for drinks. He did not check up on us until we had already finished eating. He also forgot our desert order, so we sat their for 15 minutes before another server asked us what’s wrong.
