If you are looking for an authentic pub experience in the heart of Ontario, British Arms should do nicely. The appetizers alone at British Arms can feed an army, beginning with the fish sampler platter or the hot Buffalo wings.
If you are ready for a meal, then consider the fish and chips. The servings at British Arms are huge, so you might even think about sharing with others around the table. The special roast beef dinner is always a hit with diners here as well.
Had a nice dinner Family Day week end. One of the diners had the fish and chips and really enjoyed it. Two of us had the Yorkie appetizers for dinner.....as a "Yorkie" lover they were delicious. Way too much as an appetizer unless you are willing to share. The restaurant has a nice ambiance....very relaxed atmosphere. It wasn't noisy at all as it was Monday night and no crowds. Overall we all agreed we would be back.

Halibut and Chips are Amazing. The mini Yorkshire Puddings are to die for. Will definitely be back!!!
Great Friendly Service. Had a family luncheon and we all had Fish & Chips. They serve large portions so come hungry! We will be back!
Food was delicious, and we enjoyed it very much. Crème Brule for dessert was lovely! Only problem was you had a breakdown in your coffee and tea equipment and we could not have a hot cuppa! Hope that is fixed for the next time we come for a visit. Will be back for sure.
Fathers Day - not very wheelchair friendly for sitting at a table all high tables and booths - but spoke to owner who was great and said he’d get things rectified- we had a hard time with two wheelchairs
Not the easiest setting for an elderly person or someone with a walker - do people don’t like booths and some can’t do high tables
