    My friends and I were very pleased that it was worth the hour drive through Friday traffic to eat and drink at Broken English taco! The lively decor from graffiti murals to suspended piñatas set the scene for fun. Ordered the 6 pack of tacos giving us each a choice from delicious brisket to shrimp and pork. Chose classic Margs and guacamole to start. Finished with chocolate churros and ice cream. So happy. We’ll be back!

    Unfortunately, we were basically lied to when we asked for another chips and salsa. She told me it would be two dollars for chips and salsa but they ended up charging me for the salsa separately. She would not adjust it so I just took it off of her tip.

    Wow has this place gone down hill!! The man (seemed to be manager or owner, not sure) acted like he was on speed when talking to us. The food menu has decreased significantly. They no longer serve wine. A basic Margaritta is $13!!!!! They also used to be a lot stronger. Won't be back. No wonder it was dead on a Friday evening.

We tried our best to accommodate your requests, and even discounted the "samplings" that were brought to your guest, as well as opened our closed private dining area for your reservation, so that the kids were able to enjoy the connect four and foosball table. We try our best to ensure our pricing stays within the range of our competitors, and market value. Also, our Margaritas are prepared the same way, with the same quantities since we have opened.     Surprisingly good tacos and guac, and an excellent margarita. Friendly and helpful service for such a bustling place. Lively, loud ambience, not really my thing, but we sat in an open-air area, which gave us a pleasant oasis of calm. My wife is a native Mexican and says the tacos and ambience are just like what you would find in Mexico City or Oaxaca.

    I brought a large group of kids and adults. Hailey, our server, was super sweet, patient, and attentive. The other staff were also very patient and kind to us. All the tacos are yummy - especially the fried cod. Guacamole and the green salsa were good. Kids devoured the friend chicken tacos (with ghost pepper mayo removed), quesadillas, chips & guac, and churros. The only things I wouldn’t reorder was the queso - it’s a bit mayonnaise-y and the mocktails (stick to the soda). The pumpkin ice cream served with the churros is really good too. Pitcher of margarita serves 6 full small glasses. Technically the game room is not open and is used for events and staff breaks.

    Ambiance was amazing. Super fun decor. Is pretty noisy. Staff was quick and knowledgeable. For two tacos possibly on high end of $ but the flavor profile is RIDICULOUS. We ended up getting the platter so we could try a lot and the nachos. The guac was hands down best I've ever had.... and I've had a lot of guac. I got the passionfruit marg and it is on the sweet side, then went big for the boss. Was expecting a large drink and it's not but woahhhhhh did it pack a punch. Definitely worth the money. A must go and 10 stars out of 5

    Been here 3 times and I love it every time. Food is amazing and drinks are always strong and tasty. Went for my birthday last night with a bunch of friends and they gave me complimentary dessert and a shot! We all had so much fun. Definitely one of my favorite spots in Chicago.

    These guys were great! Everything went wrong for us getting to the restaurant but when we arrived late, the adjusted to fit us in. The tacos were awesome, topped with fresh poblano peppers and the margaritas really topped the meal off! The service was personal and quick! Love coming here whenever we come to town. THANK YOU!!

    Broken English is a fun restaurant to go with friends. It’s colorful lively atmosphere is fun, and they let you mix and match tacos on the platter - which makes everyone happy. The tacos are good - not the best I’ve had (Bien Trucha in Geneva) but still very good.

    Taco was not fully cooked through. Too expensive for the shrimp taco. And the pitcher of margaritass was $$$52.00 Def not worth it.

    I was so excited to finally take dad to my favorite restaurant! It wasn't busy at all for Father's Day which was great. It was a bit louder than normal, but we loved the decor and tried a bunch of new dishes!
