   This place was awful. First impression was good as we made a reservation and were seated immediately upon arrival. Unfortunately as we walked to our table saying excuse me to everyone because the tables are so close together we started smelling a nasty fish smell. I have been to restaurants that ONLY serve fish and they did not smell. We waited 20 minutes and got our water. I understand it can get busy. They took our drink orders, goose and tonic for me and one of the special fruity drinks for my wife as it was a Valentine’s Day dinner. 10-15 minutes later the waitress returned to tell my wife they were missing one of the ingredients for her drink and asked if I wanted water or tonic??? Come on!?!$!? Please notice we have been here for 30 minutes! I looked at my wife and we decided to leave because our experience was awful! It looks like they usually get pretty good reviews but I am sorry that was not our experience.

    I have been to this restaurant before and really enjoyed it. This time was very average. For the price you want to feel like you are treated special. I think because it was Valentine's day they were overwhelmed? Our waitress was really moving but it appears you needed more help. Food was good except for the crab cakes. Nothing special there. Not very much crab or flavor and very small. I think a 3 rating is right on.

    Food was delicious! I had the veal scalopini and my husband had the beef Wellington. We also had bread pudding for dessert. The service was excellent. Atmosphere is very peaceful and romantic. We had a wonderful time.

    Valentine’s dinner was terrific and our first time here. Short ribs were melt in mouth tenders. Beef Wellington was Special dish for the day and did not disappoint. So much flavor and not overshadowed by liver taste. Loved the unique veggie combo cooked perfectly. WArm crime brûlée topped off a great meal. We are glad we found this gem and will definitely be back.

    Paella was delicious; so was the Caesar salad. Chairs were tippy and not comfortable. Braised short ribs were good on a bed of polenta. Brie and mushroom soup was rich and satisfying.

    First time visiting. Euro Salad was bland. Pappardelle was tasty but the 4 shrimp were on the smaller side. The Rigatoni was lacking flavor. The Bread Pudding was excellent. Will probably try one more time. I read so many positive reviews.

    I suggested Brushi to a three friends because we meet once a month for lunch and wanted a new experience. All of us had a wonderful lunch, great selection of food, with perfect service. We'll be going back!!

    I had a salad with grilled chicken. The chicken was perfectly cooked but the salad was “meh”. Too much dressing which made some of the lettuce mushy. My friend had a salad as well and made the same comment. She also ordered fries to share which were very good. Service was attentive without being disruptive.

    Brushi is my very favorite restaurant in Omaha! If I want to take guests to dinner and have a perfect experience this is the spot I'll pick. Richard is my favorite server. He is a real professional and I really enjoy talking to him.

    The service here is top-notch, as is the food. There are interesting and creative specials. The chef makes each dish very eye-appealing, with a variety of colors and flavors. I especially enjoy the assortment of vegetables served with the entrees. They are cooked just right, and taste very healthy. I recommend the butternut squash soup, caprese salad appetizer, caesar salad, salmon ceviche, beef filet, whiskey chicken, and deconstructed banana split for dessert.
