   The specials were excellent! I've been to this restaurant twice in the past month and have had a wonderful experience. Great food and service. Our waitress was lovely and made sure our orders were accurate and was very attentive. Thanks!

   While the service was pleasant the server was inexperienced and lacked basic knowledge of the menu. She incorrectly explained several dishes only to run back and forth to get the correct answers. She also doesn't understand basic allergy protocol. Lastly, she wasn't conversational and was fake with her hospitality. Poor social cues. We got her name from the bill but never introduced herself "Carla". The hosts were over staffed and stood over us ready to pounce on half finished items and smallwares that were still in use. But they were all very sweet and working hard. The food was the saving grace. All items were hot and well seasoned. Kudos to the chef. Also a positive shoutout to the bartender who came and did his own quality check on the cocktails. Still a recommend because of the food and ambience.

   Service is good.but they hover around your table constantly interrupting your meal as they try to remove dishes ti get you to leave/ flip the table. Disappointing experience

    Food was not hot from kitchen but it was tasty. Sauce had become solid as it was cool. The servers cleaning and bringing water were very good. However our waiter was not good. He never came once to check or offer us any other drinks. He was in a hurry for us to order the food and then ignored us. I wanted wine with my meal but he never came back again - only to get the dessert in. It's very noisy in there - hard to hear company at table. It pretty expensive for what you get portion wise.

    After the change in ownership, the restaurant deems to have lost it’s classy feel (uses paper napkins and the water glasses all have beer logos on them), and the food is bot as good as it used to be. It feels like a cheaper italian restaurant but costs the same as other restaurants like Piazza or 7enoteca but not worth the same value.

    Lively and cozy atmosphere with lots of personal touches by the owner. "His House" was an excellent choice for a casual dinner after the ball game! Delectable Daily Pasta Special (Mushroom Ravioli) although I will be back for the Mushroom Risotto!! ;) Server was kind and attentive. Thorough service and an overall lovely dining experience! Not wheelchair accessible, but only a few steps up for those with physical limitations. Just off the beaten path in Oakville, you must try this hidden gem!! Will definitely make the trek from Niagara Falls back to Buca di Bacco!

    Delicious food - we left with a belly full of wonderful Italian food! Difficult for our 80 yr old parents to hear our conversations due to the noise levels. We will probably go back but will go much earlier.

    Small and cozy place, buzzing, very busy on a weekend. Excellent food, made with love. However, we had to wait over 25 mins for the server to say hi, she didn’t know we have been waiting. We were understanding as it was so busy. Will definitely go back.

    Our server was very nice. Food was terrible, served cold and pasta was significantly over cooked. Took 15 minutes to get a Diet Coke. Noise level was intolerable, my decibel alarm went off on my Apple Watch

    Booked reservation for a party of four on a Saturday evening. Have never experienced a noise level like we did while having dinner. Absolutely atrocious, we were literally yelling/screaming at one another across the table in order to talk; even then it was difficult to carry on a conversation. We did not order dessert but left after our entrees. We walked along the Lakeshore and dropped into another restaurant where we enjoyed the last part of our evening with a bottle of wine and dessert. As someone who frequents downtown Toronto for dinner before hockey/baseball games, the noise level at Buca di Bacco in Oakville far exceeded anything we’ve experienced in Toronto (even at restaurants fully booked). The food, however, is good so I would recommend reserving on the patio (weather permitting) and/or order takeout.
