Apple Gorgonzola salad was absolutely delicious. The lasagna was very disappointing, sauce was not good and it seemed like there was little to no ricotta.

We loved the family style serving and the food was delicious, however the prices advertised online were much lower than the actual prices in the restaurant. It was pretty empty in the room where we sat so it was lovely and quiet for a nice long visit with three friends on my friend's birthday. They did admit a family with three children into the room and unfortunately they allowed their children to run wild all over the place but we outlasted them and they left before we did. The service were wonderful and accommodating. We loved the chicken marsala but I think the Caesar salad could have used a little more dressing. The huge birthday dessert was fabulous and we almost finished it between the three of us. Their Chianti was delicious. We had a lovely time.

Sunday afternoon lunch for 3 adults and 2 children with excellent service and good food. Some food came out warm but other than that, overall very good on an unusually quiet Sunday.

Lots of problems at this Encino Buca. I called earlier in the day & asked if they could make Risoto like they did before the pandemic...and they said they don't have the ingredients. I told them I would bring it...still NO. When we arrived we were seated at a table and for 20 minutes nobody came to ask if we wanted drinks. We were in a large room with only 1 other table of 3 people....why no service? Finally when the waitress came and took our drink order....we waited almost 30 minutes before we got our drinks. Waitress said the bartender was "backed up." We told waitress do NOT bring any food until we have our drinks first.....then 5 minutes later the food came BEFORE we got our drinks. We told them to take the food away until we have our drinks leisurely--then bring the food. Finally when I got my beer...the cap was still on it...so the waitress went to get a bottle opener. Waitress did not return with an opener for 10 minutes--then I went & found another waiter & asked for a bottle opener. Inexcusable! Waitress needs more training and there's no excuse for waiting over 30 minutes to get our drinks when our room only had 1 other table with 3 people in it. Worst service ever.

We had a party of 10 tonight, including 4 children. Joseph, our waiter, was on top of all our requests, bringing the kids food, as soon as ready, while we enjoyed our salad before entrees. The food overall was very good, enjoyed by all. Joseph also helped us celebrate one of our Son's birthday with the birthday Sunday, everyone, especially the kids loved every bite! Thank you Buca and Joseph for making our Father's day/Birthday so enjoyable!

We enjoy Buca di Beppo's casual Italian dishes and apple gorgonzola salad. Their "Colossal Sundae" truly is ginormous, delicious and a great way to celebrate a birthday. However, although they're billed as "family portions," we generally find the entrees very small (perhaps feeding two--not a family) at very high prices. Therefore, our visits are limited to taking advantage of their occasional email discounts, which make dining at Buca still affordable.

We had a very nice birthday lunch for my son. The chicken Marsala was our favorite main. The antipasto salad is also a must. The chicken parmigiana has a great crisp on the chicken and the ravioli is our kids go to (before the pizza). Overall a great pick for a relaxed family afternoon enjoying a great lunch. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and dishes were out in good rhythm to make our afternoon flawless.

Our table ordered 5 large main entrees. Th eggplant parmigiana had 3 pieces approximately 3x4 inch about a half inch thick of eggplant covered with about 2 inches of chopped tomatoes. The worst eggplant display and portion for about a $50 entree.

It started well as a big surprise for my girlfriend with her family group of 8 but as we ordered everybody got what they wanted and the server explained that there is a small plate and large but didn’t explain the serving size he let us order large not knowing each dish could feed about 6 per dish and when we got the food we had so much we each took home at least 3 whole containers . Home it was unpleasant that the server could of said hey what you guys order could feed about 40 people & just rolled out the food unpleasant and unprofessional will not be coming back here ever again .

There was hardly any Gorgonzola cheese in the apple Gorgonzola salad. The large size of the chicken lemone had only few small pieces. The spaghetti with meatballs needed more marinara sauce. The colossal dessert was mostly whipped cream. There was hardly anything under the mountain of whipped cream. Food was Very disappointing.

There was a little bit of an issue with service; by the time he brought us our bread for the table, they brought no butter, no, olive oil and vinegar, nothing to put on the dry bread. Don’t get me wrong, the bread was perfectly fine, but it needed something on it. I paid the check & noticed something weird. We had ordered a special (spaghetti and meatballs), and it was meatball Monday, meaning that the meatballs with spaghetti were half price. I thought the bill little high, but I paid it, and it was only as we were leaving that I noticed they did not give us the half price discount and charged us full price for it. Before we walked out the door, I spoke with the host, who got someone to take care of that for me, and they changed my belt. It was a little disconcerting, though, there’s a sign on all the tables, so the fact that they would make that mistake just doesn’t make sense. Now, onto the food. The mozzarella marinara was exceptional, along with the rest of the food we ordered – spaghetti and meatballs, a platter, which I don’t remember what it was called, but it had four different kinds of pasta, and broccoli. It was all fantastic. The last time we were at this particular restaurant was for my husband’s 40th surprise birthday party. He just turned 60. We’re not going to wait another 20 years to come to this restaurant, as it was a wonderful Italian meal.

We've been coming here for years. Nick was great and although he was busy, he made sure to check on us. Fried mozzarella is a great appetizer. Penne San Remo was flavorful and had ample protein. However the fettuccine Alfredo was a disappointment. It didn't have much sauce, flavor and barely any chicken. Their "small" is large enough for 4 or more to share as we had ample leftovers. Overall, with good service from hosts, Nick and rest of staff, it was a good dining experience.
