Buca was amazing! Highly recommend to anyone looking for an outstanding fine dinning experience. The service was impeccable, and the food was delicious. The tiramisu was the best dessert i’ve had in Toronto, and better than most i’ve had in Italy.

The food and the service are OK but the place is absolutely too noisy. Just understand what the waiter said was quite impossible. Avoid if you are looking for romantic or just quiet dinner.

We had a wonderful experience at Buca. We believe that the best restaurants do not rely on good food alone. The best also have excellent service. That’s what we got last night. Our friendly waiter guided us with our menu choices and then explained the dish when we received it. We shared the in house cured salumi, salata pomodoro, and the funghi pizza. Everything was delicious. We’ll be back!

We had a 7:30 reservation on a Saturday night at the King West location, and we felt totally rushed. 4 servers were swarming our table, grabbing plates from under us while we were finishing our last bites. There were many empty tables around ours, so it wasn’t like they were waiting for our table to seat the next guests. We would have ordered a bottle of wine and more cocktails, but the servers were too eager to promptly close the restaurant by 9:30pm. The food and drinks were great, but the servers need to chill out a bit - especially on a Saturday night!

Food and service were phenomenal! Staff are very professional and genuinely polite-- tge servers explained the ingredients and flavors when each course came to the table. Wine sommelier was also very knowledgeable and quite personable. Will definitely be returning for dinner soon!

Went here on a reco from a friend in Toronto and it was really good. We just ordered a bunch of appetizers and pastas and did it family style - so good. Don’t sleep on the horse charcuterie and the eggplant with ricotta.

The ambiance was very nice. Staff and service were great. They were very accommodating and helpful. I just think the menu could have a few more items that I would’ve preferred in an Italian restaurant. Very limited menu but definitely fresh and tasty.

The Summerlicious menu was a great way to have our first experience at Buca. The service was friendly, informative and timely and each of the courses from the Salumi e Gnocco Fritto, Bigoli and Pistachio Gelatto were delicious. We enjoyed our evening at Buca.

The service was outstanding. The food was delicious. My only recommendation would be to get a separate oil fryer for vegetarian dishes. A dish is not truly vegetarian if it’s fried in the same fryer as meats and seafood. This really limits your menu options. I would have loved to have tasted the eggplant/cheese tower. It looked incredible!

It was sincerely the best meal I've had in Toronto all year. For whatever reason I feel like I've had a string of misses trying new places, but returning to Buca after some time was a welcome treat. The spaghetti with anchovie was wonderful., the cheese plate excellent and the wine reco perfect.

The food was mediocre. The lamb was a strange cut of lamb & even though the doneness was supposed to be med rare, it was very much on the rare side. The pasta dish was undercooked. Dessert however was delicious! The manager was very kind and tried very hard to rectify the issues which I appreciated.

I had the carbonara plate and had no taste like noodle cook in water , they did not even offered cheese (reggiano , parmagiani) i had to ask twice to have some , and they were very anxious to get us to eat and leave , really did not like my experienceat all, will find another italian restaurant in toronto when i go back .

My husband and I had a terrific Summerlicious dinner here for our anniversary. The duck ragu and beef short ribs were perfect. The drinks were great too. The restaurant also acknowledged our anniversary with a little parting gift which was lovely, and a lovely gesture. Highly recommended.

For those who have never been here before, it is a little hard to find. Needed to break out the ole google maps. However, once you're there, the service is fantastic and the food is delicious! Went here for Summerlicious with some girlfriends and it delivered. Dessert was a little disappointing, everything else, I'd eat again.

This Italian restaurant was suggested to us by another great restaurant we went in Toronto. It is definitely an upscale restaurant. No cheap bowls of pasta here. The charcuterie boards are not to be missed- you can even get a half portion if there are just two of you. The menu apparently changes every day. In addition to the wonderful food is the exceptional service. Our main server was- Izzy but everyone seemed to pitch in. Seriously great service. If you are making a visit to Toronto make room in your budget for this underground gem.

The food was good but really overpriced, $45 for a pizza is insane. We tried the carne salad and it was definitely not the greatest thing on the menu, I would not recommend. There was not many pasta options. Service was great but the place was dead and quiet.
