The decor was lovely. The lounge area and cocktail menu was great. However, I was there 30 minutes before someone decided to bring me a cocktail and we were not approached by a server or told who our server even was for the first 25mins. That all said the food was outstanding but very costly. Wine list is extensive.

This is become one of my favorite go to places in Boston. The service is always great, and it is very comfortable for seating. The food is always very yummy. I always start off with crispy flatbread with a touch of tomato sauce and daubs of burratta cheese mmmm! Salads are great and the pastas are fab. Meats are generally best shared. My suggestion is to order a few things and share with your friends/ or loved one. Not a fan of the tiramisu though… to rich for my taste. $$$

It’s a nope!!!! First of all we sat down ordered sparkling water with lime. Waited 20 min til we got the lime after reminding twice. Menus were such tiny writing, couldn’t even see it with glasses on. Menu was not as shown on the open table menu The tagliatelle in braised lamb was delicious and homemade noodles but my lobster macaroni was way too fishy. I am positive it wasn’t fresh noodles even though they claimed it was. Lobster pieces were dry. Portions were very small as well. Needless to say we didn’t bother ordering anymore and left. Ambiance was too bright Waiter was overly nice almost trying to make up for lack of service. All my other reviews on open table have been very positive so for me to say nope I actually mean it. Disappointment.

Highly NOT RECOMMENDED !!! 1. Customer Service 1/5 I made my reservation for 9:30 pm for four people. When we arrived at the restaurant, the hostess asked us to wait for a few minutes, while the table is getting cleaned and she said it is almost ready. Every 15 min, we checked in with the hostess about our table, and the answer was the same until they finally told us that there isn’t even a table available. While waiting for our table in the lounge area, we ordered drinks🍹 and even here they took forever to bring them. We got their entry dish with semi dry garlic bread at the lounge table. Finally, after 40 minutes of waiting, our table was ready. The hostess came to us without an apology. I made a comment, and said “thank god after 40 min of waiting “ to which I got an instant reaction from a HOSTESS ROLLING HER EYES. Customer service was at a very low level. The server was nice and friendly. 2. Food 2.5/5 The food was ok, nothing special. A pear in INSALATA DI RUCOLA was unripe. The pizza with octopus was tasty. The rest of the dishes were basic and didn’t not surpass our expectations. 3. Drinks 4/5 We had a variety of drinks ordered. Overall very nice. Negroni is delicious. Old fashions (whiskey and tequila based) were lacking tastes of bitters but overall were good. Espresso martinis were very nice. 4. Location / directions 2/5 Not a lot of signs placed on the streets to make it easy for guests to find the place. We had to circle around before we found it. Google marks the restaurant correctly but the entrance is hidden on the east side. 5. Atmosphere 5/5 Very nice place. Well designed and has a beautiful bar.

I love Buca but this location does not compare to their downtown Toronto locations. I found the service a bit lack lustre other than the individual who made our delicious truffle espresso martinis.

Had a great ladies night at Buca Vaughan. Service was 10/10 everyone was super friendly. The ambiance was very chill and cool, my only negative is the pasta portions are small for what you’re paying. The pizza was fantastic which is perfect for sharing or just as your main meal.

Food was very good, the menu similar to Yorkville location. Restaurant design is modern and outstanding, refreshing atmosphere for Vaughan, and a great and lively vibe. Service was excellent.. which is unlike most Vaughan restaurants where normally the service is substandard. Christian, our waiter, was fantastic; cordial and attentive. The manager was very cordial as well. Free Valet parking is a wonderful option because finding parking can be tricky otherwise. Highly recommend and will definitely return.

Our review of Buca is quite mixed. We came for lunch, the restaurant was not busy - the hostess seated us immediately and then we were left to our own devices, as we waited patiently for menus. It was only after asking a server, who was initially reluctant, were we given menus or any offer of service. My wife complained to the hostess and our waiter Chet appeared, and during the course of service, did everything possible to make up for the poor start - he should get 4-5 stars. We ordered the carbonara which was very good and then had the "Pizze Burrata" which was excellent. Our waiter suggested that we add the truffles, but did not mention the additional $14.00 cost. Note, the truffles did not make much of a difference, however the crust was paper thin and outstanding. While we did not order dessert, Chet gave us a few cookies to satisfy our sweet tooth, and suggested that we come back for dinner where there is an expanded menu. As previously stated, he did everything possible to make up for the poor start. We would suggest that the hostess provide the menus immediately upon guests being seated which would alleviate the problem. Roy & Maud Cetlin

The only knock is how difficult it is to find. The sign wasn't lit, the valets were hiding in the doorway and the driveway says "no entry". After that 20 minute hiccup, everything was stellar.

Good service, average food, not worth the price. Linguine Vongole had about 6 clams and was quite flavourless; frankly, I can make much better vongole at home. The rest of the food (a couple of pizzas, seafood pasta, porcetta) was decent but nothing to rave about. Service is very good, and the ambience is also very nice. May try it again, but the food was disappointing.

Beautiful restaurant! Great hosts, staff and food! Unfortunately, our waiter failed to deliver the type of service one expects from this type of establishment, and was borderline rude. This took away from the whole experience we were really looking forward to having. We felt rushed placing our orders, he wouldn't make eye contact with us and wasn't able to guide us when we had some questions about the menu. He never once came by to check if we had any issues with our meal, or to offer another drink. Fed up with the service, we decided to skip dessert. We eventually got the bill, at which time he asked us if everything was good SO FAR! When he gave us the payment terminal for our credit card, he had the audacity to populate the tip percentage at 20. We love fine dining, tip extremely well, but reserve the right to make our own selections. As we were leaving, the chef came by to congratulate us on the anniversary we were celebrating and gave us a cook-at-home box for Cacio e Pepe. We so appreciated his warmth and kindness, and will try to focus on that when we think of our dinner at Buca.
