Happy hour was great, eating on the patio best ever! Just before game 6 of Canucks and Knights.
The food was good but not worth the value it was priced.
Great food. Great service but they seemed a bit short staffed. We had our food packed to take home and waited 15 mins after the bill was paid ...we left and realized too late that we didn't get our take away bag. And it was the great bone marrow pizza.
The lamb shank and mushroom risotto is spectacular!
However, the afternoon sun coming through the front windows is not. No sun-shades makes for a very uncomfortable sit if you are facing the windows!
Otherwise no complaints!
yummy food, happy to support a local neighbourhood restaurant!
The lack of blinds left one of us literally with the sun right in our eyes no matter where they moved in our seat. For awhile, my husband had to hold up the menu in the air to block the sun so that I could eat without the sun. Servers walked passed a few times. No one asked or commented. We finally commented at the end of the meal and we were told that there isn’t anything that they could have done. However, they could have just addressed the situation instead of ignoring it. It was disappointing. We could have been moved, as the restaurant wasn’t full.
Amazing first time at Bufala. Service and food was on point. Wine was great. Decor is amazing.
Honestly, the lighting was way, way too bright, the staff should have dimmed the lights accordingly. The music choice was yacht rock all night, which I love, but the absolutely wrong choice for this eatery. I would have expected a far superior ambiance and forward listening music choice.
We will be back.
Amazing pizza, great service. Their sour beer on tap was delicious. Only downside was their olives were way too salty, even for olives.
The music was way to loud for lunch. We asked for it to be turned down and nothing was adjusted.
Great night of drinks and food!! Fun with friends
Overall it was a great dining experience. Unfortunately the menu did not provide any healthy options other than salad. The margarita pizza was excellent and the value was great. Would come back again
Patrick our waiter was fantastic. The duck agnolotti was amazing.
Great place for any occasion. We have been several times at different times of the week and it has become one of our favorites. Would like to see a cellular signal booster in the restaurant as this signal as soon as you enter the restaurant is so low that I missed some important calls and had to step outside for a signal.
When I pay using credit card, it always disappoints me to find the tip % pre defined, such as (in this case) 1 - 18%, 2 - 20%, 3 - other. Please start at 15% and go up from there. The tip should reflect the service and in this case, it was average.
Were there for a Birthday diner.
Service and Ambiance was very good but the food was very very underwhelming
Restaurant had a “dirty water” smell. Not sure what the cause was. Service was fast but hot appetizer was cold in the center and had to send back. Was underwhelmed considering the hype of having a new eatery in Edgemont Village. Nicili food is better, service worse imo.
Yes I would recommend as staff, ambiance were great however food was ok but not fantastic for price.
Great food, but the service was poor. Pacing was completely off with food coming too quickly and drinks delivered so late that we had to send them back. Then the check was delivered while still eating our food. Disappointed since we had hoped that such a nearby restaurant would have both good food and service.
It was such a great night. We went for happy hour but slid right into closing. Kudos to David our waiter and the bartender. We loved when the music went up later in the evening. We love you in our village. Denise Kelly
Been wanting to visit since it opened and it did not disappoint. The food was very tasty (the meatballs are amazing) and the staff were so friendly. We will definitely be back!
Great food, poor dining experience. Tables are squished together like sardines, rushed, and hard to hear anything. Not sure if we will go back, but will definitely order take away pizza from here!
Found the happy hour menu and drink specials quite good, as were the pizzas. My rigatoni was extremely over salted with little flavour. Would like to see the servers, especially those with long hair, have their hair tied back as ours had her hair resting on one of the food items while it was being served. Not sure I would go back, sorry!
Went for happy-hour & the pizza was delicious! Not a fan of the mixed drinks but their happy hour IPA beer was really good & went well with the pizza.
Very enjoyable. Excellent service and delicious food.
There for Happy Hour. Had a table for two. The tables are close but did not interfere with our conversation. Enjoyed our glass of wine with two appetizers that were basically entrees. Very tasty. Will return for sure.
Postponed valentines dinner! Service was great:)
We enjoyed our meal the only dish we didn’t like as much was the pasta on the happy hour menu. We found it didn’t have much flavour. Our service was fantastic
Great happy hour, awesome service. Food was great. Vegan options as well.
My only complaint is that they close at 10pm on weekdays. But the service and the food are excellent!
The only recommendation I would make for the restaurant is for them to have larger tables. Sharing food and having many plates was a little challenging. Otherwise, AMAZING.
Overall ok the place is a little dark and the lady next to us was so low and could hear her whole conversation which ruined the evening
Food is good service is good overall good
I look forward to more vegan options and the patio but recommend this place especially during happy hour
The waitress and the kitchen did a fabulous job accommodating my gluten free request my only "complaint" is our food all arrived at various different times and not all together. The lapse in time between the 4 meal deliveries was very significant and poor. The pizza my husband had, had too much tomato sauce on it was under cooked and therefore was mushy. I would give them another try though because of them going the extra mile for my gluten intolerance and for which I am grateful.
Made reservation 3 weeks prior and were stuck in a back corner by the bathrooms. Had called 4 days prior to add one & very unaccomodating. Were told we could change our dinner reservation to 4:00. Yet when we got there (without our 3rd person) the table beside us could have easily sat 3 (& only had 2 at it). Meatballs good, pizza mediocre. Only one lamb & one beef entree. No chicken. And no limes for drinks, really?
Calabria pizza was good, flavours were light but fresh. Arugula salad very fresh but could have used a bit more flavour. Crispy polenta was nice & crunchy but green salsa not great. A fresh tomato sauce would have gone well ...
Tiramisu very good.
Service and staff were great. Very comfortable place with noise level not too high.
Will go back with friends and family for sure
Very odd menu . Happy hour - lots of Campari drinks .
No vodka or martinis on the drink menu .
Lots of pizzas - too many pizza places- nothing special .
Only 2 meat dishes $38 . Need more protein - no chicken or fish .
All carb menu - pizza and pasta .
Risotto balls were boring .
Kale salad was excellent, that’s why I gave it a 2.
Ok Family restaurant . Good place to bring the kids .
We visited Bufala on Valentine's Day... made it in for Happy Hour and had a great time... food was plentiful and beer and wine at great prices. Ran into some friends from the neighbourhood which made it more fun! We'll definetley be back! D.W.
I like Bufala, we've been several times. The menu is starting to get a little boring. One of our guests had the lamb shank and Risotto which was sub standard. Pizza is always the safe bet but not very interesting. I'd like to see the menu expand and include more traditional Italian dishes.
I had been with a friend during dinner out and Vancouver and loved the place... So decided to take my clients out for dinner on Sunday 9th Feb....we had booked a table of 6 ...on the eleventh hour we had 5 ... When we got to the restaurant they changed the tables on us and gave us a table for 4 between 5 of us ....it was crowded my cutlery kept falling to the floor.... The experience for my clients was not so great!
Perfect spot for dine in. Ambience was really awesome. We all enjoyed it. Very good service.
