   We had dined at Black Prime Steakhouse before when passing through Billings and enjoyed our meal very much., unfortunately our experience this time was not the same. Our waiter and the rest of the staff we encountered were professional and very pleasant but the wait time for our meal was long and the food was barely edible. I had a the dinner salad which was plentiful but the dressing tasted rather bitter. My husband had the small filet and fries. He said the steak was okay but the fries tasted horrible which I concur. I didn't think french fries could taste bad but they did. The serving of fries was quite large but we couldn't eat them. So I'm sorry to say the experience was a bad one and I doubt we will try this restaurant again. Such a disappointment.

   Food wasn’t great, had a prime rib, no flavor and chewy, wouldn’t order again. Husband had Bison ribeye, super chewy and also no flavor. Asparagus tasted like it was cooked in fish oil. Service was below par, no follow up service and just started grabbing app plates to take away without asking. Then never came back to clear plates til we got the check.

   Treated a friend to brunch at Buffalo Block and can't say enough good things about it. Prices are reasonable for a Sunday Brunch and the food is outstanding. Our waiter made us feel important and answered all of our questions. Food was great and looked beautiful. This was my second time for brunch and I'll be back! Highly recommend. Lots of great choices for brunch cocktails too.

   The AGM Jacob is a phenomenal host and is responsible for a huge portion of Buffalo Blocks success.

   Mussels were subpar. Broth was light on flavor , heavy on butter. Scallop risotto over salted. Prime rib end cut tough. Fruit tart had a masonry shell. Service was pleasant and attentive.overall a 2 at best.

   The tomahawk for four was amazing. We also ate the wild game sampler as an appetizer & highly recommend trying it.

   A significant improvement from our last visit. We stop in each year as part of our trip to NE MT to hunt birds. Have dined here 6 times and 5 have been exceptional. The service this visit was impeccable. Great communication among staff and continuity from the bar to the table and visit with the exec chef. Each dish was fantastic. Started with Larson Martini and Serrano Margarita, escargot and Buffalo carpaccio. Table-side Caesar. Bordeaux and the butter aged New York and Buffalo cowboy ribeye with sautéed mushrooms and the Gorgonzola cream sauce. Followed by a perfect dessert (which escapes me atm) and absinthe. There are so many enjoyable ways to navigate the menu and this was one of our faves. Thank you! See you next year!

   Service was terrible. Order was wrong. I kept being told my water would be refilled, but it wasn't. While fixing our messed up tabs at the end, our left overs never made it back to our table. We were there for almost 3 hours for just 3 steaks.

    This is our second time at Buffalo Block and the atmosphere is so relaxed and enjoyable. The food is exceptional. Be prepared, it is a truly nice meal experience, with drinks, appetizers, and dessert, we were in the restaurant for 3 hours. The staff have been friendly, knowledgeable, and personable!
