Everything was absolutely fabulous. I did only rate the service as good however as our server took our plate away before we were done. Having been a waitress it's common courtesy to ask if the patron is done, if they can take the plate away etc. Other than that though our waitress was good and the food was fabulous!

The food was very flavorful, but in true "tapas flavor"....the servings were very small for the price. However, one must remember you are going for the "taste" and not to expect a heaping plate to satisfy a starving stomach. That being said, we each had the leek soup and 2 shareable plates (Cauliflower dish and Gnocchi) and left feeling VERY full and satisfied.
The combinations of flavors were unbeatable & the mushroom gnocchi were AMAZING!
Kudos to the chefs!

We will be back soon. Thanks!

We shared the kale salad, the broccoli, the gnocchi, and the pork. Everything was amazing .....we even got a second of the kale salad instead of dessert.... it was that good!!
Service was very good. Highly recommend this place but suggest a reso as it is very small.

For fine dining we were sadly disappointed, we were seated at a table that was situated in the middle of the room with traffic on both sides, number of times we were bumped by servers and passing visitors, the menu didn’t accurately depict the ingredients. we ordered the soup and I stopped my husband as I could see it was certainly cream based. When we informed the server that the menu was misleading she then stated that it was our fault for not letting her know about the lactose issue. ( menu said nothing about dairy on this item) luckily I have no issues with lactose so I enjoyed the one order of soup. However the server did not recommend a solution or an option to choose an alternative. Next came our goat cheese salad the server then asked if we were ok with goat cheese, we informed her yes because goat cheese does not contain lactose... this was a surprise that she was uneducated about food when working in fine dining. Luckily the rest of our dishes were very good. As for setting I was disappointed that the Decor was lacking and there were numbers of screws and plaster sticking out on the walls. Going to pay for the bill we were charged additionally for the soup as it stated for two, however we only wanted one order and this was very misleading. The food was what saved this place, however we will not return or recommend.

we love everything about bunko except one thing!!!!! counter seating at the wall of wood is horrible!!!! absolutely horrible! i would configure your league and raise it so u can have stools watch the chefs cook and entertain you! my thoughts!

First time to Bundok and it was a set menu as it was Valentine's Day. It was really well executed from ordering ease to timing of each course. Bundok chef's and staff did a really wonderful job working together and ensuring we had a great experience. Great cook on all items and the specialty cocktails were super yummy! Looking forward to going back on a regular evening and trying the regular menu!

Our waitress was amazing!! I wish I could remember her name Kelsy? She was super engaged and funny. She explained everything to us and made excellent recommendations. My drink “pretty visitors” was amazing!!! Each dish was very good.

I found the food excellent, but my dining partner thought portions of the hen we ordered were slightly undercooked. The tables are close together, so while the server was talking to a neighbouring table, her voice was loud enough to compete with and sometimes drown out our conversation.

Very nice dinner. The wait staff were attentive and no obtrusive. Our top-up of wine was free, because it was the last of the bottle and they didn't have any more, so that was a very nice touch.

The beet salad was a lovely presentation with wonderful flavours.

The other dishes were all enjoyable. However, they might have relied a bit too much on salt and fat to enhance the flavours.

I expect that we will go back.

I was disappointed after such great reviews, most of our dishes were over salted and there was a long lag between courses which ended with out pork being overcooked and dry. It may have been an off night but with so many great options in the city I will give it a pass for next time.

Overall, our experience was fantastic. We will certainly return for more. Only criticism we have would be that some of the dishes were salted a bit on the heavier side but still good nonetheless.

The food was ok but nothing special [steak tartare, potatoes dauphine, broccoli, miso steak, parmesan soup) . There was nothing that made me want to go back again, or attempt to make at home. It was expensive for the quality. Drink service was so slow we drank less than we normally would have. After ordering dessert, the waitress informed us that our table was required for another party. We had been there for 1hr 45 min. There was no attempt by the server to ensure we dined in a timely fashion and we were not informed that there was a time limit. I was terribly disappointed and regret having dined at Bundok.

Good ambiance in good location. The food was inspired and good, although the duck was over seasoned with salt. The cocktail list and bar selection is well done and the cocktails are very good. The wine list is brief - it could use some expansion. The service is very poor. We sat for 15 minutes before being greeted. Questions about the cocktail list and meals were found to be annoying and responded to curtly. This establishment is unique in that it charges for tastes off their "by the glass list". This list is not made up of stellar or well known wines. Therefore we asked for assistance to guide us. This was an inconvenience to the server. When we described what we liked she pointed to one wine. When asked to describe she said; "Well, this wine maker makes red wines and white wines - so he is very good. It is full bodied. You will like it." My wife pursued more information and it only got worse. We elected to taste and she said she would see IF this was possible? It was. In sum, every request of the staff was an apparent burden on them. Solution: delegate the current staff to runners and have one other person managing customer service. If you are going to charge for tastes off your wine list and you hire people that don't have the faintest idea about wine - provide descriptions - a very cheap fix. Overall the experience was good but the service was truly grade-school at best.

The gnocchi is amazing. I love the idea of share plates. They are all done so well that you cannot go wrong. Been here multiple times and always leaving satisfied and wanting to go back. The beautiful intimate restaurant is better for small groups.

Best food I've had in Edmonton in the nearly 2 years I've lived here. Shared 7 dishes and every single one was expertly composed, balanced, seasoned and presented. I was not blown away by the service or the volume of the music, but I will 100% be back for the food.

I went to this restaurant with 3 friends for a birthday dinner and was blown away by the amazing food! We had counter seating which I worried might be awkward for talking, but it wasn’t bad and there was plenty of space for all the food. The gnocchi, beef tartar and citrus posset were definitely highlights. For the quality of the food, the prices are very reasonable. The cocktails were also delicious! I would highly recommend this restaurant.
