Great homemade pasta. Very reasonably priced. Would recommend for a nice casual dinner!
There were not enough waitresses for the amount of people being served, it took forever to even order our food. The servers were sweet but the service was not great
Menu was quite bare.. and pizza was alright. The tiny outdoor seating was nice.
There was an eyelash in our caprese and the service was slow. The food was great and the host was very hospitable.
Friendly staff and good food, however portions are quite small.
Lovely place. Great meals, sweet staff. Hard working bunch. Enjoyed our time thoroughly!
Great authentic Italian food. Love the place, loved the service. Glad I found it and am definitely coming back.
to be honest, the food and portion size was below average. the food was expensive for what it was, pasta dishes were small, and pretty bland.
The actual restaurant is cute.
Always a treat. Slowly becoming a favourite. Just a few minutes from our door to the patio. Gracious welcome. Friendly and attentive service. Delicious pasta choices. Perfect coffee. A local gem.
food was so amazing, try the pettinata and the funghi, they are so yummy!
Nothing really stood out, with so many options why choose this place? They forgot one of our pasta dishes and by the time it came out 3 of 4 people were done eating. You think they at least comped the missing dish? NOPE! The pizza was undercooked, the meatballs were tiny but the sauce was good. Service was slow, place is super cramped and the washrooms are in the basement and not pleasant. Never again
Amazing food and cute little patio 😍 I had the gnocchi carbonara and it was so good!
Amazing lunch. Very reasonably priced and amazing food. The service was the best we have had since places reopened!
Went with a friend
Service was slow, food was watered down pasta sauce, took too long and came cold. Experience was not great at all
Food was delicious and servers were very friendly.
Amazing service from beginning to end. Bolognese is a must try!
I LOVE buono. The friendliest staff and their cacio e pepe is to die for!
Booked at the last minute while on Queen at dinnertime. Saw the homemade pasta and was sold. Nice little patio set up with views of Queen looking south. Ordered two delightful dishes: pomodoro and truffle pasta. Both served in a warm pan which was a quaint touch. Not an overly large amount, just perfect. Followed by a very nice double shot Americano. Service was lovely, friendly. Food was delicious. Wish the dessert menu was larger but I understand in CV19 times options are limited. Will definitely return.
Dissapointed that there wasn’t gnocchi today. It’s what attracted us to try the restaurant in the first place.
The salads were good. Good size and value. I’d rather you price the lasagna $25 and give a large portion that $15 leaving me hungry. The pizza was delicious but wasn’t what we came for. $24 for the 4 piece mushroom pizza a bit silly of a price.
Have got a good menu but price and portions misguided.
We might try again but we’ll be sure to call ahead as we won’t come if there’s no gnocchi to try.
The serving staff is super friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming. Buono is my favourite place to get Cacio e Pepe.
The food wasn’t the best but the ambience was really good.
Great food great service. Small little patio. Definitely recommend one of the pasta dishes
Amazing pasta!!!!! The food is incredible and our server was so kind! She was so busy and was the only one working at the time but was extremely helpful & super friendly! We appreciated her service & recommendations. The truffle pasta & cacio Pepe pasta were both to die for!
great service! Great value as well, surprisingly inexpensive for good size portions of fantastic, simple and delicious food.
I had the truffle rigatoni which was very very good. The margarita pizza is more of a focaccia pizza. The spaghetti carbonara could of been cooked a little bit more.
Food was amazing and service was great but outdoor dining area had a terrible odour.
GREAT service! The staff is really lovely! Food is pretty good and great central location on Queen West! Casual patio great for catching up with a friend, date night or even a solo wine and cheese eve!
Didn't love the carbonera pasta I had, the service was pretty good, the patio was spaced out
Overall it was good but food was overpriced and oily.
I had a very mediocre experience here. They had one person working front-of-the-house, acting as the host, server, and food runner. The food was average especially for the price that we paid. It started pouring rain as soon as we finished our meal and their patio had no coverings of any sort so we could not sit around and enjoy watching the hustle and bustle of Queen Street.
Food was pretty tasty! Wouldnt recommend pizza- too bready
Always ask about the specials. Pasta is very good and the staff very helpful and attentive. Don't forget to leave room for the tiramisu
Overall, food and pricing is fair. It’s nothing that will “wow” you. They try to pull off as traditional Italian. I will say the service we got was not the best. Rude and a little condescending. My partner and I did think he had a little attitude- not friendly at all. Not much room for accommodation or anything extras. Obviously we would’ve paid for extras but not many options like that. Prices are fair considering portion size. Overall, I’d suggest another restaurant in the hundreds of others in Toronto. Or perhaps another location.
Bolognese and pesto were both excellent.
This place is beautiful! The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was excellent. Super recommended!
The food was incredible and our server was so friendly. We had cacio e pepe, pesto gnocchi and tiramisu and we would definitely return to have the same meals again!
food was okay. Great service tho!
Delicious and authentic.
Great food with great pricing. They had some awesome beers as well. Definetly worth it. Would return for lunch!
