Our server was nice, but absent most of our visit. We had to ask others for things we needed. The food was mediocre at best. Definitely nothing special. For $20 I expect more than an Alfredo pasta dish with watery and separated “Alfredo” sauce. I’ve never been somewhere that a $20 salad comes with no bread or crackers or something. The California chicken sandwiches were good according to my daughter and MIL. Overall pretty disappointed.

Varied menu. Big patio but if it's wet or about to rain, only high top tables are available which are further from the opening. We sat in a booth inside but were looking out at the patio. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful.

Had a 6:45 pm reservation on a slow Su day night and arrived at 6:30 pm and was told we would have to wait around the corner until 6:45 pm, (even though there were many empty tables). Explanation for waiting until 6:45 pm to be seated was the kitchen is understaffed and they are far behind. (Not a good omen!) Could have easily been seated and had drinks until kitchen was caught up, but they had us wait in a small waiting area with 3 other parties all waiting to be seated in the semi empty restaurant. We ordered soup and salad and simple burgers and had to wait an hour before they arrived. When the food arrived, the food was not hot as obviously had been sitting around waiting for the server to pick it up. Asked for well done burgers, and they came cold and medium rear. By this point we were too hungry to send it back and wait another hour. This restaurant has gone down hill since Covid hit. The menu has changed for the worse, (eliminating some of the appetizers we enjoyed I. The past), and the quality of food has spiraled down. I will NOT be back as many other better choices in the area to choose from!

It was dead at 7:30 on a Saturday night and now we know why. Thai cauliflower appetizer was excellent. I had the blackened chicken salad and requested the dressing and cheese on the side and that it be made without the onions and the nuts. It came with the nuts on it (I picked them off - no biggy) and without the cheese (again no biggy) The blackened chicken cutlet was in 5 large pieces on top of the salad and the apple was in large slices but the lettuce was chopped. I had to cut up the chicken and the apples to manageable pieces and re-toss the salad which was messy because the salad was served on a flat plate. My husband’s steak frites were just ok. Our service was the one bright spot- our waiter was personable and helpful. It was just a mediocre food experience - and our bill with 1 split appetizer, an entree salad, steak frites and 2 beers was $100 w/ tip and it didn’t feel like a $100 meal tbh. We would have been better off at Yours Truly or Chick Fil A across the street,

Bad review unfortunately. Service was so slow and inadequate we had to get the manager involved. Waited 20 min to get our first beverage. They were not busy. Husband ordered salmon entree and received salmon salad. My chicken minese was dripping in oil and overcooked. Luckily crab cake and chowder were good.

Expensive, greasy, bar food. Once upon a time, Burntwood in Solon offered good food, but now it's all about the grease. There are outside tables, which is the one remaining plus.

The food we got was good. Appetizers and entrees tasted great it just took forever to come out. Then, one of the entrees we ordered wasn't available even after we waited for a while after the order was placed. Mike, our server, did a great job!

The food service was extremely slow even though the restaurant was practically empty. We waited nearly an hour for food. Some entrees were overcooked and others under. One was supposed to be GF with no cross contamination and no potatoes (as they are fried in same fryer as breaded items). They brought it with the potatoes. The entire entree had to be remade. The experience was highly disappointing.

Had reservations for Mother's Day dinner at 6:30 pm for a party of 4. Was not seated until after 7pm. Ordered appetizers, that were never served. Our main course meals were served about an hour after ordering, but not complete. Kitchen ran out of all lettuce varieties, and one of our meals was a salad. Server never asked if we would like to change our order.

I was there for Mother's Day and in spite of being short staffed, the wait staff was very attentive and the food was excellent. There was a little bit of a wait for our table, our reservation was for 6:30 p.m. We were seated at 6:55 p.m. I would go there again.

Understaffed and waited 45 past reservation for our table. Salads were great but appetizer of the margarita pizza was a flatbread like cracker style with melted cheese and tomato and little to no flavor. Main course the chicken was warm but the fettuccini was cold. For the amount of money and time spent it was not worth it.

The food on the buffet was tasty but could have been warmer. The prime rib was the highlight. The only real downside was the service. The original gentleman that took our drink order never came back; the woman who took over came back once & not again until she noticed we were eating dessert & brought the bill. I understand Mother’s Day is a very busy day so you should have proper staffing or limit the number of reservations.

I took my friend to Burntwood so we could celebrate her birthday. Our server was wonderful and the manager stopped by several times to check in with us. It was a fun afternoon and look forward to returning!

I really like most things about the Tavern, except for the prices. I know inflation has made things more expensive, but my party of three left with a bill of over $100 for lunch (including tips). Each had a sandwich entree with fries, and one beer. Yes, I would recommend Burntwood to a friend, but with a warning!

Food is always excellent here but was a little disappointed that the vegetarian menu was reduced even more. This day and age vegetarian options need to be more available. I took a work crowd here and several vegetarians had very few options. The food overall is excellent and love the bourbon menu as well.

Service was slow due to a private party. Our waitress was serving our table and the private event and she seemed preoccupied. Orders were incorrect. Manager was very responsive and made sure we got our food and apologized for the convenience.

The food took forever and when it did arrive the fish in the fish and chips was cold and not cooked enough and the chips aka fries there was literally like 6 on each plate. 2 nd bad experience at this location will definitely not be returning!

The Steak Frite Dinner was Tough & not a good cut of meat. The Homemade Steak Sauce Was Delicious, thankfully it made up for the poor quality in Meat. Very Limited Menu. Not sure we will return anytime soon for Dinner.
