    This place never disappoints. We loved the food (every bite is packed with so much flavour), had a great wine recommended to us and the service was excellent as always.

    Very nice ambience, very helpful and informative waiter. Many delicious looking options on the menu. We had the halloumi and it was to die for. We also had the black truffle cheese pide and it was delicious. Lastly we had the short rib kebab and carrot rice. The rib kebab nearly melted in your mouth and the rice had such amazing flavours I’ve never had before. All over it was an amazing experience. Will definitely be going back. And absolutely recommend!

    Byblos food was excellent, as always. We often take friends with us who have never previously been, and everyone has always loved it. Our server Leia was charming, and helpful. If you wish to experience excellent eastern Mediterranean food without the expensive airplane ticket, eat at Byblos.

    Very nice experience. Slightly on the high price for what we had but overall good. I would have given 5 stars if it wasn’t for the warning that they needed the table for another service less than 2 hours from the time of the reservation. Everyone knows now that there are 2 services and frankly, respect that depends entirely on the service if we are to make it out on time or not…

    I planned a food crawl with my friends, Byblos was our second stop of the night and didn't disappoint! Our server was prepared for us, having our predetermined (by me) menu printed out and ready to go. Even though they knew our bill was going to be much smaller than the average 6 person table, we were still treated incredibly! The wine recommendation was perfect, the grilled octopus and lamb ribs were definitely a highlight of the night.

    We were seated right away and our waiter, Cody, was extremely helpful, helping us choose. We had the stuffed olives, pear arugula salad, and beef tartare for appies and everything was delicious. We then had beef kofta, fried chicken and fries. The timing was perfect, our water and wine, always full. We finished with a pavlova and it was amazing. We will be back next time we are in Toronto.

    We’ve been before and always top notch experience. Yesterday was a little less. Seated downstairs which was a bit of a disappointment. Need to request upstairs apparently. Fries came out Luke warm which kitchen kindly took back. Greens came out very gritty. Kitchen also took back (like chewing sand) and off bill without asking Branzino was fantastic and white shrimp appetizer a stand out. Kebab was good but a bit pedestrian

    Wonderful shareable dishes. We had halibut, fried chicken with balanced sweet and spicy sauce, and great desserts— pavlova and a unique twist on baklava! Server and cocktails were also great.

    Terrific Middle Eastern restaurant long a fixture in Toronto. All dishes are meant to be shared. Beautiful industrial design. We sat on the 2nd floor near the bar in a nice private settee. The table was a bit small, but the dishes came out well spaced so there was no problem. We especially liked the Turkish dumplings, pear and arugula salad, and eggplant.

    The food is decent but the service is super slow and very impersonal. We went for my mother’s birthday and I specially asked them to make it special but they couldn’t even bother to bring a piece of cake to the table after spending $200 on dinner. They didn’t even care to offer a dessert menu so we could buy a cake for ourselves.

    Wonderful location near TIFF events. Called us to remind us of reservation & kindly made it earlier for us. Jamal was welcoming, had delish recommendations, was attentive, friendly, & funny. Loved each shared dish & refreshing old fashions.

    Byblos might be my favourite restaurant in Toronto. The service is always great. The food is excellent. The experience with friends, colleagues, family (I've had dinner at Byblos with all of them) is always memorable. Highly highly recommend.

    As always, the food was phenomenal. This is our go-to spot for events and milestones. The service was a bit slow though and when we were seated we were told we only had 90 mins before the next table. It would have been impossible to finish that fast because of the slow service. Hopefully this is just a one-time hiccup because we're back here again next week.

    Lamb shoulder was absolutely delicious and our server took extra care in packing up our leftovers, even labelling or individual boxes. A lovely experience every time I visit!

    Our waiter was pushy and rushed us along. He spoke so fast we missed how spicy the Romanesco sauce was in the Octopus dish. Unfortunately 2 of the 4 people dining with us could not eat it as a result.

    The food there was EXCEPTIONAL. We got the lamb ribs, hummus, short ribs and wagyu laneh. my favourite were def the short ribs and lamb. taste good and great value

    The place was fantastic! Got much better once the people beside us left. The tables are a little close together so when having an Anniversary Dinner and you can hear the person next to you talking or even chewing,... then it can be a little too close. Would definitely return but would make sure they know ahead of time that we do not want to be at one of the two people tables (at the entrance).... too close for comfort.

    Food was amazing, it was our first time at that restaurant. We ask our server to help with the menu. We were really happy with the recomendation. Downside service was really fast. And he never come for the wine. Go for the food not the service.
