   Food was excellent as were the drinks, only issue was that after our appetizers we waited at least 45 minutes before the rest of the food came out. Our server was super friendly and knowledgeable. Great vibe overall and the food did not disappoint, especially the short rib kebab. Will be visiting again.

   Food is always delicious but we were sitted downstairs. It was loud like a bar so not pleasant for a meal with the family. Also it feels like a basement ans the window sills were all dirty. Very unpleasant when you spend 500$ fir a meal. Avoid downstairs at all cost.

   As a first timer at Byblos, appreciated the server running us through the menu. The service overall was great. Food was great, the portions are small for some dishes where it feels like you may not get the best value price-wise. I would recommend the halloumi (it's a small portion), dumplings, any pide (got truffle & feta, another small portion), and fried chicken. If you have room for dessert would recommend the pavlova, it was amazing.

   The food and service are great. I didn’t appreciate that the seating was ripped and the noise level was a bit too high. Overall, we had fun but with this food level, I expect the ambiance and seating to be much better.

   We arrived promptly to our 9:30 reservation. We were inform by the hostess, that the kitchen will close in 10 Min ! I was quite disappointed at them taking the reservation without comment, on those terms. Luckily I had been in the uptown location, so I knew the menu, and what we were going to order.. My companion wanted to try the place, so we stayed - otherwise I would had walked away, no doubt, based on that welcome announcement. I would probably recommend Byblos to a friend (with a warning) but perhaps I would be inclined to recommend the uptown location.

   Great food and service. But the crowd is VERY loud at times… There’s zero effort to notify certain patrons that they’re simply being obnoxious. We almost left because of 1 or 2 individuals who simply don’t know how to control their voice at a restaurant. Granted all restaurants have a base noise level, but this was over the top. I think the management needs to be in control of their patrons to an extent. I’ve been here several times and it was never this loud. Next time this happens I think I would just leave.

    The moment my partner & I stepped in for his birthday dinner, we were expecting a warmer welcome. It just wasn’t the most friendly vibe. The server, Jamal, was awesome which made up for it. However when we first got seated, it took a solid 5 minutes before anyone approached our table. The food was absolutely delicious and well worth it. The two young hostesses need a personality check!     The bread was freshly baked and melt in your mouth delicious. We had it with the hummus and it was incredible. Loved the poached pear salad as well. Ambiance and food.. just excellent!

    Incredibly flavorful. So many things sounded good. The server was helpful with recommendations and we were not disappointed. We had the dumplings, lamb ribs, and friend chicken. Didn’t venture to try the cocktails or dessert but they certainly looked and sounded delicious.

    I came here for a special event and although I feel the ambiance was very nice, the food was quite lackluster. The lamb starter was oddly sweet, very fatty and I did not enjoy the sesame seed based crust and the beet side had an odd finish of sweet- ketchup that was difficult to get through. I could only take a few bites. The only decent dishes that I tried were the eggplant with truffle rice (the rice was needed to balance out the highly acidic dish) and the olive oil cake (very rich and delicious). Also our waitress, although she seemed kind, she would ask 1 question at a time and then quickly walk away from our table, and would stay gone for noticeable amounts of time rather than allowing us to ask for all that was needed. This added a significant amount of time to our dining experience. Especially when it came to the check, we waited a good 15 minutes or so. Instead of saying "is there anything else I can get for you/is there anything else you need?" She would take a request from just one person at a time and then step away immediately which made for an odd experience. In all, lovely ambiance, but the taste of the food was lacking and the service was not as attentive . For the price, I personally would not return

    I love Byblos and have been for dinner a handful a times unfortunately this time I got extremely sick to my stomach right after the meal, I am not sure what it was that caused it but hopefully next time it won’t happen

    We very much enjoyed our dinner. It is family style / sharing style and the portions were perfect for the three of us to share. The food was flavourful the right balance of spices was noticed in every dish. A very much appreciated was many of the sauces were on the side so we could take as much as we wanted. The service was excellent and prompt. I would recommend for a dinner before the theatre visit.

    Great restaurant, only issue was we reserved seating for 6 a month in advance. Expected to be in the upper dining room but didn't see an option on the reservation. When we got there we were told no room upstairs. Everything was good, that was the only issue

    A great place for a social dining experience. Our server was extremely helpful in guiding us through the menu and made some excellent recommendations. Each dish had tons of flavour, and were fresh and well made. We will most certainly return again in the future, highly recommend!
