   The food at Byblos is always good, the only complaint I have is that the bread served tastes like it was baked ahead and warmed when served which makes it overly crunchy.

    One of the best restaurants I’ve been to. Incredible food, lovely atmosphere and kind/attentive waitstaff. Highly recommend the lamb shoulder. If you’re thinking about eating here you must do it!

    We came here before and the food and service was fantastic. It was very disappointing then, when we ordered our food (fried chicken, fried, and fried shrimp) and it came within 5 minutes. The fries were cold and brown, the chicken was not fresh and dry, and the only item fresh was the shrimp which only came with 4 pieces for 21$. For the price of the items I was expecting way better quality, especially having previous amazing experiences. Will likely not come back again as this experience was severely disappointing. The service was not great either and the atmosphere was loud you could barely hear the person beside you.

    Byblos is a wonderful experience. I sometimes feel rushed dining out before the theatre, our server Jordan put us at ease and took over the worry about our timing. We weren’t rushed (5:15 seating) and made it to our (7:30) show in plenty of time. Food was excellent. We shared about 6-7 dishes between four of us. Great flavours.

    Outstanding every time! The jewel rice and lamb ribs are absolutely perfect. The cumin in the pear salad is genius. Great service and cocktails, too. Byblos has been consistently excellent for years.

    Our server, Jordan, was knowledgeable and helpful with navigating the menu. We ordered the perfect amount of food, all of which was delicious. The geographer is one of my new favourite cocktails. It was my first time at Byblos but definitely won’t be my last!

    The food was just ok. Our server was nice but we didn’t see much of her to be honest. We were expecting the food to be much more flavourful but it was honestly just kind of average. The bathrooms smelt a bit like sewage as well. We were at the downtown location. The person who I was with had been to the midtown location and liked it much better. We won’t go back as it was a disappointment overall.

    For the price, this was not worth it and I won't be back. The service was slow and the room was very loud. The cocktails were good. we loved the pear salad, the fries, the roasted beets, and the kids loved the olives and the baked cheese. The humus royal was just okay - not bad, but not special. The cauliflour was not great, and the fried chicken was not great as it was 50% breading. The short rib kabab was better than the chicken, but still not a great portion size and a bit too smoky for me, but others in my party liked it a lot. The jeweled rice was also very good. So, if I had just gotten the pear salad, the jeweled rice, the fries, and the beets, I would have been satisfied, but that would have been a very strange dinner. All in all, just too loud, too slow, strangely tall tables for the short chairs, and just not worth the money.

    The food at Byblos was excellent as usual. The portions are generous as well. The service was good but we did get our pide, which is more of an appetizer, after we finished our main. We were not so hungry anymore so didn’t get to enjoy it as much. We were going to the theatre so we couldn’t just take it home with us. The couple next to us also waited a long time for their main course to arrive. It seems like there was a slow kitchen that night. Overall it was still good because the food is so delicious.

    The food is delicious. Some of the portions of the dishes to share are very large (fried chicken) and others are much smaller (short rib), so you don't always know what you're going to get. The sauces are all delicious (harissa, preserved lemon chermoula on cornish hen), chimichurri, hazelnut dukkah on cauliflower. But everything is very rich. I liked the salt level but some people might find it too high. It was very loud in the restaurant. The server was good at dealing with my dietary restrictions, but then came back after we'd waited 30 minutes for them to cook things from scratch to tell me that actually there were two sauces I couldn't have, which was a little frustrating but worked out okay. Overall, very tasty, but very rich. Good value for what we ordered, but the price can go up fast.

    Lamb was absolutely delicious! Would go here just for the lamb again. The baklava I would skip. Was a little burnt on the inside.
