Really enjoyed ourselves here, the ambiance was relaxing. Food was great and our server James was very knowledgeable and professional! I highly recommend this restaurant especially because it’s close to our venue the Cobb Energy center.

We went for our second wedding anniversary tonight. I thought overall it was just ok. My husband got the burger which was fantastic! I got the spinalis ribeye. I ordered my steak medium and it came out burnt on the outside and raw on the inside. My husband ended up eating most of my steak and I ate his burger because I just did not care for the steak. I also got a Caesar salad and the dressing was so tart it hurt my mouth. While they did acknowledge our anniversary they didn’t do anything for it, a champagne toast or something would have been nice.

We’ve been here a few times and the result has been consistent. The food is solid, but not spectacular and the service is typically very good. But I think it’s very overpriced for what it is. Many steakhouses in Atlanta that do a better job food-wise and have a far better value. I don’t mind paying top dollar for food and drinks, but the quality has to support that price point and I think C. Ellet’s misses the mark in that regard. 5 star prices for 4 star food.

Smoking allowed in bathroom and they refused to validate parking……more thank likely will never go back!

We have messaged you directly to learn more about this experience. Additionally, I apologize with the frustration with parking validation. We encourage guests to use The Battery's Red Deck that offers self parking that is free for the first 3 hours. I hope that if you choose to dine with us again, we can show you excellent hospitality and quality dining.
The hostesses and servers are always warm but this experience as a whole proved to be pretty disappointing. We ordered half a dozen raw oysters, salads, steaks and sides. We asked for our filets to be cooked medium and they came out medium rare and once sent back they came out overcooked. The mac and cheese was a bit runny/greasy. When it came time to pay, we wanted to use a small C. Ellet's gift card we had received for Christmas towards the check, as well as a $50 Visa gift card, with the majority of the bill going on our AMEX. This is where the clusterf--- began. The server (who we love) took our AMEX and gift cards to the back to run everything. When she came back, we noticed more had gone on the AMEX than made sense. She advised they only accepted a certain amount in gift cards. It would have been nice to know this information up front. Furthermore, someone else's truffle mac and cheese was on our check (while the other table had paid for our less expensive mac and cheese) to the tune of an additional $20. Again, something else not brought to our attention until we called it out. The response was "Oh sorry, but we can't rerun those gift cards." No suggestion of how we could recoup the additional $20 we had paid. So I finally asked "Can you just give us a gift card for that amount?" Why did I have to ask/come up with this? We ended up walking away with a $25 gift card but were so disappointed by the whole experience. C. Ellet's is somewhere we have been loyal to since its inception, recommending it to people, bringing in friends from all over the world, writing 5 star reviews, etc. We've spent thousands of dollars over the years, including hosting my large birthday party in the private room there last summer. I hate writing one bad review after another but did so this time because we reached out by e-mail hoping to speak to the owner that night but here it is almost a week later and no one at all has reached out. Please do better, C. Ellet's!

Arrived early and seated right away. Staff was attentive. Food was delicious! Highly recommend the fried shrimp. One of my favorite spots in the Battery

The steaks are some of the best, melt in your mouth wonderful. The service was lacking, but the food makes up for it.

Great restaurant and statf. MATTIE WAS AMAZING. ERIC WAS A GEM TOO. The food was delicious and hot. Have an Old fashion, the mixologist are great .

Great selection of wine, seafood, steaks and other dishes. Great bartenders! One of the few places around town where it's just as comfortable to sit at the bar as it is to get a private table. Staff is great, service is fast, and the food is fantastic!

Food was second to none, everything we ordered was fresh and flavorful. We had the Ribeye and wagyu filet, the hen of mushrooms, whipped potatoes and Brusselsprout casserole, shrimp appetizer and baked potato skins, everything was exceptionally delightful however the potato skins were okay, not sure if I would order those again. I felt like the ambiance was 6.5/10. Just didn’t think it matched the quality of the food. Otherwise I would absolutely recommend this place. Best steak I’ve had.

Atmosphere, food and service were great! My husband and I felt comfortable with the spacing of the tables while dining during a pandemic.
Only small thing I didn't like, was hostess asked, "May I help you?" That question never makes me feel welcome.

Weekly date night with the wife. Food was delicious. Steak was amazing. I got the ribeye. We shared the seasonal orange Duck and she got the lamb. The appetizers where good, shrimp and fried oysters. Waiter made awesome suggestions. Value was pricey. We paid $369 for everything excluding tip. We tipped heavy because waiter was good.

The 55day aged ribeye melted in my mouth like butter and their happy hour oysters were so good.

Food was delicious and great service. Prices for steaks, especially Center Cut filet, was way too expensive. It was a good cut of meat, but should be 40% less. I think if they brought their prices down they would see a more full restaurant.

The atmosphere was beautiful and inviting,the waiters we're considerate and relatable ( easy to build repport),food presentation was perfect, and food was excellent.
The experience was expensive, but I know it would be considering the quality and rarity of the selections. Not many places in the area serve Wyagu beef.
The only real con was there wasn't any live jazz even though it was advertised online on the website. This was the main feature that beat out the competition in our decision to dine.
I understand it was day after Christmas but it was still advertised. Also the waiters didn't seem to have an answer to why.On a good note the music playing on speaker was a good mix of genres mellow to upbeat.
Overall great experience and I will definitely be back and hopefully I'll get to experience the full experience of C.Ellets Live Jazz Sunday Brunch.

Excellent service, friendly without being intrusive. We only had appetizers, salad and dessert and no "attitude" that we were not having a full meal. The food we did have was excellent!

There should have been a steak option for less than $90. Server indicated there was a 6 oz filet then came back and indicated only the 10oz filet was available. Our reservation was at 5:45 pm. How can you be sold out on 12/24 @ 5:45 pm?

C. Ellet's is the best restaurant in the Battery. However, since my last visit, they changed the layout of the restaurant going from two sections (more formal and casual) to an all inclusive business casual venue. With this change, we felt the outstanding service and excellent food dropped a notch or two. Also some of the entrees were very highly priced. Some of this may be due to the pandemic, which I applaud the owners if it has kept them in business. All said, we still had a superior evening and will continue to recommend C. Ellet's.

Food marginal at best - service not good - put both our entrees on the same plate - who does that???? Waitress checked out on us and left us alone. Wife told them it was my birthday….no acknowledgement- first time here and left a very bad impression - stay away unless you want to order right off the menu with absolutely no variations Don’t expect anything out of the ordinary…..

This was my first time and I absolutely loved it; will definitely return. We had 12 oysters that were perfect and then I ordered the Delmonico Ribeye -- it was cooked to perfection and they brought along a sauce that was incredible. We stayed for 2.5 hours. Thank you, C. Ellet's!

Food was excellent but ambiance and service not pleasant.
Top dollar restaurant you would expect better service, more trained and more staff, food was served cold, appetizers and main course were served at the same time! Who eats caviar with a tomahawk???
It was extremely loud, they really need to check how to solve that.
Nevertheless we had a great night but some training for the waitress and probably more of them would help.
