We had lunch to celebrate our son's wedding; there were 5 guests. It was a stormy day and instead of sitting us outside (like my reservation said on Open Table), I was pleased that they sat us at a table next to a window facing the ocean with an awesome view! I brought a cake and champagne which was taken care of by the staff. Our server was excellent - checked in with us often but, not too much. There are additional fees ($25 each) for serving the cake and champagne. Our server waived the $25 corkage fee (we did order 5 cocktails as well - so, expected one of the fees to be waived). Three of the meals were excellent, two were just ok. Prices for lunch items seemed a bit steep. Cocktails were $15+ each. All in all, a beautiful celebratory lunch for our son and new daughter-in-law!

This venue's food and service are as good as the wonderful view onto San Diego Bay. I definitely recommend reservations because it's very popular. Having said that, we've never had trouble getting seated.

Being almost eye level with folks sailing out on the bay is my idea of a fantastic view, and C-Level didn't disappoint in this regard. Started strong with lobster bisque for my daughter and French onion soup for me; the latter definitely scores in the top 3 I've had, and the lobster chunks in the bisque pleased my daughter to no end. And then we waited for our main dish...and waited, and waited, and waited. Maybe 45 minutes later, the waiter said something about a "backup in the kitchen,"... but others were being served. Odd. An hour in, we got our mains...fish and chips and French dip, large portions that tasted great. We just had to be somewhere or we wouldn't have been so stressed, and ended up taking most of the main home. Sigh.

We started with Ceviche, then we enjoyed the Ahi/Salmon Poke Bowl and Lobster Sandwich. Views of San Diego Bay, Seals, Military Ships and downtown architecture were gorgeous. A little pricey...

We celebrated our anniversary at C-level, and it was the perfect place for us. Outside seating on the water w beautiful views of downtown at sunset. The server was super attentive with perfect timing, accommodating shared plates, and surprised us with a celebratory yummy desert at the end. The steaks were at perfect temperature and everything else was delicious as well.
