Loved the food, tried everything and was quite impressed. Was a bit disappointed in a few things like plastic cups.. after ordering a bottle of Prosecco with dinner, the champagne glasses and water glasses were blowing off the table because they were so light. I felt the experienced could have been upped with just real glass glasses.
We were very excited to finally be able to go out again and have some drinks. We chose this place because of the view, and it genuinely looked good. We were seated pretty quickly, and immediately a waiter was there to explain the drinks and take orders. Expectations were high at that moment. However, after ordering the drinks, half an hour passed, and no one returned to our table. By that time, we were distraught. Finally, another waitress approached, and we asked for the manager. They explained that there was an error with the ordering system, hence the delay, but they would make it up for us. From that moment, everything was perfect. The food was delicious, specially the shrimp cocktail; the drinks were good too but nothing special. I would recommend this place if you want to party with your friends.
Had told server that we were in a rush but still she took a lot of time in bringing bill (even after reminding). Food was okay. Ambiance was good.
Overall amazing experience , server was amazing and food was good
My partner and I had a great time eating the delicious food and overlooking the lake. I was apprehensive to order food from an establishment that was previously a club but Cabana outdid themselves with their menu. We ordered quite a bit off the menu and champagne. There isn’t one dish I can say I didn’t enjoy. Thanks Cabana!
it was perfect but the food was awful
We’re seated with view of Toronto skyline blocked, so it seemed like we could actually be on a Caribbean vacation! The music, the vibe- all contributed to a great time. The staff were SUPER friendly!
Ok was cokd
Awesome nice to be out again!
It was a decent experience but I was pretty disappointed that they placed us right in the middle and it was noisy. When we left the place, we saw much better seats for 2 people with a nicer ambience for a date. The manager how ever was great when I thought it was 50% off apps until 6, I was wrong but he still did it though.
A fantastic experience! Dined the last night before 2nd Toronto lockdown. Well decorated, cozy and classy atmosphere. Excellently prepared meals (the buttermilk chicken and the truffle mushroom maccheroni are incredible) and our server was attentive and treated us like friends. Thank you for a memorable experience!
Great vibes and ambience. The Marquee at Cabana can be considered the top covered outdoor destination in the city. It’s a shame provincial closures have forced them to shutter their doors so soon after setting up. Hopefully new regulations allow city goers the opportunity to experience it’s elegance.
If not, see you in the spring Cabana!
Great food with great service! Definately recommend.
Service was terrible. Mains came before the apps. Waitress had no knowledge of the menu.
Liked the view, appetizers were great but very disappointed with the steak presentation and taste.
The ambiance was amazing and we had such a good time here. The lighting really pulled everything together. Will be coming back for sure.
I was very disapointed. This is not a patio anymore. It is a huge closed in tent with no air circulation, no view. No different then being indoors. The pop up drink advertisements and the drink menu is on the table, but there is no food menu available, due to Covid! You have to scan your phone to get the food menu. Guess the drink menu with the expensive drinks is Covid proof, but the food menu would not be? I found the whole place and their manipulation unsafe, and unfriendly, so we did not stay and took our business to a real open patio on a beautiful 20 degree sunny afternoon.
You are ok but still you can be better... Keep going...
Walking thru the dance floor with stripper poles killed the 5 star rating for a Sunday brunch setting!
I loved it as Cabana Pool Bar and now as Cabana Waterfront Patio. The food was fantastic, no complaints there. The atmosphere was lacking a bit for a brunch/lunch with neon strips all over , some chairs were different and it just gave the overall feeling of “we just pitched a tent, so we could be open”. Also a lot of workers around the area were constantly popping up.
Everything was great. Food, service overall atmosphere was all perfect.
Atmosphere was good. Service not the best, food took over an hour to arrive and drinks weren't quickly refilled. Food was ok.
Food and atmosphere were great. The service was poor given the cost of the food being served. Also, there were a lot of people up and moving in between tables without masks which was not enforced.
It was a good experience. Just went out for dinner with friends. Needed to get out and do something different during Covid. Staff was wearing masks and very polite. I heard bad reviews for food but it wasn't so bad (a bit pricey, but ok) The Vegetable Ratatouille and complimentary bread was good. Margarita Pizza was nice and lite. The Buttermilk Chicken was ok, would have liked some exquisite type of chicken instead of fried. Overall great idea and ambiance during Covid!
Quicker service needed but overall great food and ambiance
It was a well spent birthday with my close friends at the patio. Absolutely loved the vibe and the service. Would have loved the dining to be by the water though. Got to click some good pics later on after dinner by the lake. The menu has selective options for vegans and people who prefer chicken. May be some more items on the menu may help like pasta etc
Great food, prepared well. Fun night out and we felt very safe. Lots of air circulation and distance between tables.
The setting was minimal being a pop up but festive and pretty. Service from our waiter was wonderful she was very helpful and available with suggestions.
Halfway through dinner one heater was moved from where we were sitting which made the area pretty cool, it was his sarcasm and lack of service when we asked for more heat that was uncalled for and not appreciated.
Would definitely recommend a visit.
Very dissatisfied, disappointed, utterly upset with the server & the pricing for a 9.5 ounce wine order. Thought the menu had $20/$39 for 1/2 glasses of wine, apparently not, it was $64.5. Oh gosh, the wine was not even good, was going leave half behind, but after seeing the charges, forced to drink it. This was our first time/visit to Cabana patio restaurant, very disappointed. Kindly be understanding of the matter, to maybe provide a refund of some sort or a gift card to visit again. It’s covid time, this 9.5 ounce of wine for $64.5 was utterly disappointing, felt like we were robbed.
Went for my boyfriends birthday and had a great time. Lots of social distancing
Everything was great, just wish the music was better. This is something that I always feel when going to this establishment, the level of service is excellent, food quality not bad a solid 7/10.
Decor and ambiance is great, it is just that musical piece, perhaps some top 40 or something to fit your target market.
I reserved at Cabana for patio table and found ourselves at Rebel at an inside table. Cabana was closed. And drinks were prohibitively expensive so it was very easy to make the decision to leave. I can’t recommend it because I didn’t experience it.
Food is good. Good portion size for the price.
Waiters were nice and attentive.
Amazing service from the entrance till the time you leave!!
The food is exceptional, ducha new mixture of dishes that make you so happy and full.
Totally worth the money for the experience of exclusivity and fancy restaurant!!
The marquee’s tent is beautiful, the colors and the set up is really nice! Our server was super nice and helpful, the food was good, but not outstanding, you pay mostly for the location, which is beautiful. It’s Cabana pool bar so everything is overprice but that is not new and is expected! However when they said Drag queen show we expected some kind of performance, not just then bringing you to your table
Good was great but it was so cold we had a hard time enjoying the night. Also felt over priced.
Felt safe all rules being followed. Definitely cool brought blankets. Food came out super hot so wasn’t cold by the end. Service on spot
The worst experience by all means. Rude hostess, extremely cold even with the heaters, no view.
Very welcoming environment, there was free transportation service from the parking lot to the patio. Food was great, service 100%...the patio just got very cold later in the evening and could not finish my $250 champagne (painful) besides that, every other thing was great!
Incredible experience! The servers were very friendly, hospitable & provided excellent customer service. I was attended/greeted by most of the team on the floor, which was a warm feeling and made my experience great. I will definitely be back!!
