What a wonderful addition to the neighborhood- the food is terrific and the service impeccable. Glad Salvatore came uptown!
First time, great food and friendly, competent service. Will definitely want to go b ack!
Everything was delicious, but there was a thumping soundtrack. Why, on earth, do restaurants play music like that? The boom-boom-boom, along with the conversations of the patrons and the lack of any sound-moderation, made it impossible for me to hear my companion speak. It's too bad, because I'd love to go back.
Great birthday dinner! We had a nice circular table in an alcove in the back.
Food is innovative and fun. Friendly staff.
Just recently got their liquor license at this location, great food and owner was great!!
Very good food in a neighborhood restaurant.
Excellent service and food, will definitely be going back!
Birthday for my best friend. It was fantastic and the service was great too! Great recommendations and just a really nice night overall.
Excellent, creative food and accommodating service. Will return frequently.
We have been to Cacio e Pepe many times, and it never disappoints. We brought a well-traveled, foodie/chef cousin who was extremely impressed with the food, and said, "I would bring ANYone here!!" High praise indeed, coming from her!
The food was excellent and the service even better! Don’t miss this UES newcomer.
Our favorite upper eastside restaurant with the best Italian food. We love both the classic and creative dishes from the chef who is always so warm and welcoming when we go.
We met for a 6pm dinner on a Thursday. The staff were warm and helpful. The food was delicious. Chocolate foam dessert was outstanding. Will add this to our regular rotation.
We had had such a great experience at their location downtown that we decided to try the new location when we were visiting friends on the UES. Their signature pasta dish is a must; we split one portion 4 ways to have a taste, along with meatballs and other appetizers. Then we each had our own entree, with the lamb shank with an orange sauce and branzino clear standouts. They had just gotten their liquor license and enjoyed their house red wine; a great compliment to the meal. We will definitely be back.
Enjoyed the restaurant and dinner. Probably not the best cacio e pepe I have had, but it was very good.
Excellent food and excellent service. Very creative chef.
We live in the neighborhood and celebrated our parent’s anniversary here. This restaurant is one of the greatest additions to the UES. Food, service, and ambiance are 10 out of 10. Staff is attentive and welcoming. Chef Sal’s food is some of the best Italian I’ve ever had. Highly recommend!
Absolutely amazing! The place is beautiful and staff are friendly and the food is delicious! Thank you very much, we had a wonderful dinner.
Pasta was cold not good
Love the food. Delicious ! Reasonable prices. Staff is superb and super friendly and professional. Maitre d was super friendly and welcoming. Cant wait to go back
Wonderful setting, super great device, excellent food! A real winner!
We felt very rushed and wanted to enjoy our date night! Should have given us a chance to sit for a few minutes/look at the menu/more time between apps/dinner/dessert. The food though was good.
Amazing. Great service. Friendly staff
We dined this time on a Sunday evening. The staff seemed a bit disorganized and did not honor our requested table, although it was free just as we arrived - there was no reserved sign on it and it was taken by another party. The food was very good, the service very good but a bit too hovering. All in all we had a fine dinner and an enjoyable evening. The calamari looked absolutely wonderful and the eggplant parmesan was as delicious as usual.
So tasty! Great staff and amazing dishes!
Creative Italian menu. Delicious food imaginatively presented.
Chef Salvatore knows how to deliver! The food is excellent, presented in a wonderful way. Service is friendly and efficient. A neighborhood gem!
Fantastic meal. Chef, Sal, is the best. His food never disappoints! Nicely decorated restaurant and the service is outstanding!
Only complaint I have is the air conditioner blows right onto the tables so when the food comes out it gets ice cold within 3 mins from the air. Owner was in the restaurant and never came over once to see if everything was ok which was a bit odd. Waitress was amazing so friendly and good was delicious 😋
Excellent food, friendly staff. Will definitely return! The lamb shank and tiramisu were winners. Arugula and pear salad and eggplant Parmesan were delicious and light!
Wonderful experience will absolutely be coming back! Had a large group of 10 and the service could not have been better
It would have been a better experience if the discrepancy between our table and the one next to us hadn't been so obvious. Both tables were celebrating a birthday, which the restaurant had been notified of prior to our arrival. In our case it was ignored.
Next to us a big fuss was made.
It's true there is a difference between being 81 and 47 but it left a very bad taste in my mouth. will not be back.
Authentic Roman food in a cozy, informal atmosphere. Pasta is terrific!
Salvatore has does it again. Great food and a wonderful experience.
It is lovely to have Cacio e Pepe uptown. The food is solid and innovative, although one appetizer, perhaps too much so - banana froth with tomato-braised squid? Not a particularly lovely paring. However, the home-made pastas are outstanding and the cauliflower soup absolutely delicious. The restaurant called the day before to remind us that they are BYOB while they await their liquor license and I was very glad!
Food incredible like the service. Will definitely recommend and return:)
Excellent summer salad, very tasty salmon, branding done just right.
