   I liked the service very much as we were not interupted . I was served my coffee while waiting for my friend and appreciated that.Food was excellent-we ate the whole plate full both of us!!

   Always great service and wonderful ambiance. Price is comparable. We find the noice level not good. It’s difficult to talk and be heard at lunch in particular also evening. Highly recommend this restaurant. That’s why we go often.

    It was very busy for a Wednesday. We were seated right away but it did take some time before we got our drinks. Food was excellent and the waitress was very friendly and efficient.

    This is only my second time at Café Amore and I’m now realizing how really good the restaurant is! Nice atmosphere. Great staff. Nice crowd. The food is amazing! Our table ordered pizza, eggplant parmigiana and a penne in cream sauce with crab and shrimp. Great serving sizes. The penne is now my favourite pasta dish of anywhere I have eaten before! I am still thinking about it 3 days later!

    Flavours were layered beautifully. Absolutely delicious. Shame the service was so bad. We sat for 20 mins before anyone even poured us water. Bravo chef! Hope you can get the front of house in order to match the brilliant quality of food

    The shrimp pasta in a wine sauce was outstanding. I want to go back for it. My son enjoyed his fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. Eating leftovers for lunch right now.

    As an Italian, we tried the veal parmigiana and the Eggplant parmigiana. The food quality was great although the red sauce used taste like store-bought such as “Classico” or Ragu. Service was slow although the ambience was excellent.

    Cafe Amore is not the cheapest, but neither is their quality. I'm a spinach dip fanatic and theirs is definitely one of the best I've ever had. Brenda was a great server. The place is popular and busy, we recommend making reservations, especially on a weekend, or you could have a several hour wait time.

    The atmosphere lent a romantic experience to Valentine's Supper for us. The food was delicious and the girl, Deanna, who waited on us was very pleasant and helpful. The service was quick and we were allowed to enjoy our supper quietly and undisturbed. All in all it was a very nice evening out. Thank you Cafe Amore.

    I’ve been a patron since Lake St. location.. At the present location, always had a table in dining room. I ,particularly, enjoyed the ambience and was really hoping to give my new husband the same experience. But,no, we were seated at a booth ,with barn board walls and I pretty little crystal fixture. We were located around the corner from the bathroom,where I had to listen to it banging shut, and clatter of dishes. Totally unromantic. Surely, something else can be done to repurpose this area. You could remove the barn board and pretty it up but you’d still have to listen to the washroom door,clattering of dishes, and people yelling out if “Frank” is in the kitchen. I also would love to see a sugar free option for dessert.There’s many ideas out there,even a Jello ,or home made pudding with Splenda, pudding parfait made with sugar free cookie crumbles. Or a cheesecake made with Splenda and fruit. Or cannolis made with a sugar free ricotta filling.There’s certainly a lot more diabetics out there than ever. Thanks for the opportunity to share my experience.
