Lvxor Café and Restaurant was named after the Egyptian city of Luxor, where the sphinxes, the mythical creatures, originate from.
Lvxor is the favourite meeting point of the cultural and social elite of Split and one of the most frequently visited spots for both domestic and foreign visitors of our city. It is widely known for its quality aroma of coffee, homemade delicacies, national cuisine, extensive wine list and a number of cultural happenings.
The overall experience is complemented by the beautiful view of the breathtaking Bell Tower of St. Domnius, the patron saint of Split, and the eternal Peristyle Square.

The food was fabulous. We loved everything we ate, it was very well cooked, the menu is varied, so varied that we didn’t know what to choose, the staff is lovely and it is very well priced. We loved it so much that we have reserved another table when we go back from cruise. Our favorite restaurant so far in Croatia.

Cozy and nice, this place is so beautiful and the food taste and look so good. It’s vibrant, creative, atmospheric and innovative. But most importantly, staff is amazing, our waiter was so kind and charming. For our dessert he recommended warm apple pie with ice cream which was so tasty. Live music was great, excellent singer. We absolutely hope to come back here!

Had a great evening here. The wine was delicious and the food was fantastic. It was a quite busy but that wasn’t a problem. Friendly waiters and very kind manager. Absolutely good experience, really liked the place.

This restaurant is stuffed with such a great people. Food they served was very delicious, veal risotto with cheese, truffle pizza, cold meat plate, black risotto… so as the date cake dessert. It’s beautifully decorated and elegant and I recommend to anyone coming to Split…

Found the restaurant online while searching for places in the area. We all absolutely loved it. Nice atmosphere, a buzz of people inside, live music played all evening. The staff were all very pleasant, friendly, funny and informative. Food was great, pizza dough delicious and light. Veal risotto amazing. Can’t recommend high enough.

What a great institution this restaurant is with its authentic interior and central position. Our meals were very tasty, especially black risotto and octopus stew. Ambience was perfect, live music made it so. Staff warm and welcoming, prices reasonable for that kind of place. We truly enjoyed our visit and would certainly return if we’re ever in the area.
